Why Princess Diana Couldn't Stand Camilla Parker Bowles  

I think C&C both took advantage of Princess Diana innocence & naivety, that’s something that till this day I still can not digest! The relationship between Diana & Camilla (my opinion) wasn’t based on love & kindness, quite the opposite, was based on deceit, disrespect & dishonesty. A good relationship should be positive including being honest, respectful, loyal, loving & kind, without these qualities, there is no relationship.

No one can stand Camilla.

I think that Diana was somehow taken advantage of and if I had met Camilla away from the line light I would have pulled her hair. By the roots. And the same to Charles. I would have put it Itching powder in his under wear drawer.

From my understanding Camilla becoming engaged was set up with a fictitious public engagement announcement that essentially tied her up. As for Diana when approached for this match SHE KNEW THE DEAL! While I feel terribly for her and their sons, sadly she was naïve enough to think that she could win Charles affection. How many women foolishly think they can do the same, it’s more than common. While she didn’t deserve her fate, it was Charles who was really to blame. He wasn’t afforded the luxury that was afforded William and Kate. It was Charles who didn’t stand up to his family for the woman he loved. It was Charles who most selfishly wanted his cake and to eat it, too. He could have pressed the issue and Married Camilla before leaving or asked her to wait for him. He could have choose to abdicate the throne for love and quite frankly I don’t even think they’d have made him. Had he went with Camilla to begin with like he wanted I do think they’d have begrudgingly accepted her. The ways in which Camilla is blamed is ridiculous when this whole mess was created rather selfishly by Charles and his family.
