Sofia Coppola is one of the most original and creative American directors today. I'm a Serbian dude who lives in Dubai, so I'm completely impartial to American culture. But when Coppola has something coming out, I get super excited and can't wait for it to come out. It's a literally an event.

I love this film so much. It was so beautifully shot and really made you see things through Priscilla's eyes. Sofia Coppola is one of the best directors. I love how gentle and chill she is. She really cares about the people in her movies both behind and in front of the camera.

How dare her tarnish Elvis' who is beloved by fans all over the world & then to top it off to release it a couple of months after Lisa .Marie died. Shameful!

Priscilla puts all the burden of her movie on Sofia Coppola. Priscilla was angry at Baz Lurhman because he didn't make her part in the Elvis movie larger. The problem is that Priscilla thinks she should be on the same celebrity level as Elvis. Baz disagreed. The movie was about Elvis. Not his EX WIFE. And...she is The EX WIFE not his widow. Elvis would not want his ex wife buried next to him at his home. Baz fought with Priscilla over her part in his movie. That is when I think she figured she'd copy what Baz did and make a movie about herself with just her name, Priscilla. She believes she's as important as Elvis and she isn't and never will be for just being his ex wife. Priscilla I believe, started looking for directors to make a movie about her, and odd that the movie is Priscilla just like Baz named his movie Elvis. Priscilla's movie was done back in the 80's after her book came out "as a TV movie" She claims to have no attachment but are you kidding? She searched for a director to make this movie. She is the executive producer and put 20M into the movie, yet she blames the movie on Sofia, while saying Sofia did a great job. That IS Priscilla. She always wants it both ways. She's lying in interviews saying her mother didn't like Elvis. That she wasn't a fan, but people who knew her at the time have said she was fixed on meeting Elvis. You need to read the book Child Bride which is Currie Brant's version. They were both given lie detector tests and Currie passed, Priscilla didn't. Ask yourself why no one comes out about her.? Everyone Priscilla has been involved with are I'm sure required to sign an NDA not to talk about her. If Priscilla passes away all those people who had to sign NDA's will be coming out with the suppressed truth. I have concerns that her memory is failing her. Her mother suffered from Dementia and Priscilla's version of events are blatantly wrong. There are so many untruths in the Piers Morgan interview. Her parents were dirt poor. I believe her parents saw a ticket to get out of poverty with Priscilla. I believe they wanted it even more than Priscilla. After Elvis left Germany, Priscilla had boyfriends. The book Child Bride can't be ignored.

I guess she forgot to tell that Elvis left Germany in 1960 to his real oficial girlfriend, Anita Wood. Elvis continued to date Anita until August of 1962 when Anita announced to the papers she was breaking up with Elvis and leaving Graceland. Elvis himself made no effort to break with Anita because of Priscilla even though Priscilla kept writing and phoning (Anita found Priscilla’s letters). Elvis and his dad both cried when Anita left. But that opened the door to the avid Priscilla to eventually move to Memphis in 1963 when she was turning 18. Apparently her parents said in an interview with George Klein that it was a Golden opportunity for Priscilla ??

Does this film tell of your affair with Mike Stone Priscilla? How you broke up his marriage when his wife was pregnant. No. You never talk about the other marriages you broke up either.

Wrong movie for Elvis who can’t confirm or dispute his ex-wife’s version of events. Wrong for his legacy and brand in today’s cancel Woke, MeToo movements. Lisa Marie Presley would have not liked this, nor do his billions of fans like this either. Turbo feminist Coppola, made it quite clear she wasn't a fan of Elvis and said, it was not for Elvis fans. The problem is she based the movie on the fantasy book by his xwife. What she should have read is Priscilla as real story, "Child Bride". It's about the not so innocent Priscilla whose own parents groomed her to marry rich. She had Two affairs before she ever met Elvis. Why is the real ending missing from this movie? She left Elvis, running off with her married karate instructor Mike Stone.? I know Priscilla loved this movie making her a martyr. Her own daughter said the the movie was vengeful and wrong. But then Lisa Marie hated her mother and how Priscilla put her in the Church of Scientology at 12 and left her for months.

I have a feeling that this Sofia Coppola doesn’t have any clue on who Elvis Presley was. She’s gets her information from a woman(ex wife) who is just full of lies. The ex wife here saying that she never wanted to expose Elvis Presley, what about her awful book, where she shares the most intimate details and events about Elvis Presley and between the two of them, that was nobody’s business. I bet he wouldn’t be to happy about that. I never see her shed one tear for Elvis Presley, and he was supposedly the love of her live, unfortunately it’s all about the MONEY.

And the best modern day period of the relentless money grab of the gold digger Priscilla…… she went to court to demand that she be buried closest to him when she does. She wanted to Literally move his mothers coffin so she could wedge herself in closest. F her!!! She is 3 nuggets short of a Happy Meal and not telling the truth in this film.

For those of you trashing Priscilla left and right, you need to read about her involvement in keeping his estate (and name) alive. She was instrumental in all of this. Yes, she benefited financially, but so did many other people.

I will never forgive Sofia Coppola for Lost In Translation. I was living in Japan at the time, and I found it to be the racist and upsetting movie I had ever seen. Her career should have been over after that.

Elvis, according to many who knew him personally may have had an Oedipus Rex issue, ( ie with his mother's death etc ). As for his professional life which was extremely demanding when you consider the amount he achieved within his private circle esp in Graceland he may have been in charge like an army sergeant - Priscilla Presley nee Beaulieu, has been extremely successful in using the 'Presley' name for her own ends. Appearing in many highly paid movies, having a lifestyle of the rich and famous, with many affairs and being successful in business, awards and charity work. Married, pregnant and then divorced from Elvis was she in some way a reason for him to work as hard as he did after 1973 to pay for the separation. This question is rarely asked. Would she have ever become famous, successful in her own right? She has the executive producer rights to the film 'Priscilla'. This seems to be somewhat hypocritical, as her entire success has originated out of the simple fact, she was married to Elvis Presley.

I just got back from seeing the movie “Priscilla” at the theatre with my mom. My parents went to his concerts so I grew up with his music constantly which is why I’m a huge Elvis fan and collector. With that said I was really disappointed in this film. The look was great but the storyline left out so many details or totally changed the facts. Little details like Elvis was with Cilla when she first went through the gates of Graceland. He had her close her eyes to surprise her. This movie ended so abruptly, we were like that’s it? The 1988 movie based on her book called, “Elvis and Me” was way better especially with the storyline and details. I believe it too because he was a huge star and you know he manipulated her to get his way. Lol, I only wish it was me, 14 or not. I started dating my first boyfriend at 14 and he was 18 and we got up to way more than Elvis and Priscilla, mind you that was over 35 years ago. Priscilla was the one begging to go all the way (he wouldn’t) and I can’t blame her. Have you seen Elvis in the 60’s? In his prime, Elvis Presley was the most beautiful man that’s ever walked this earth.

On the other hand,although she WAS married to Elvis,they did share a child and share Grandchildren (that Elvis never got to meet or know)? And to her credit,she did prevent the Graceland estate from drying up. But,didn’t Pricilla remarry at least once since then?Didnt Pricilla have a very long time partnership with a man she had her son with? Hasn’t Precila had acting jobs and cohosts jobs in the past? Ah yes, the martyr which is Priscilla. NOT, she is the Queen of Scientology. When Lisa was only 12, she sent her to Scientology camp for months, which drove a wedge between them. Priscilla and her Scientologist boyfriend Marco opened Graceland and made millions off the estate. She even had a son by Marco who later left her and his son with a tidy bundle from the estate. Lisa tried to get out of the cult, but when she married Micheal Jackson Priscilla sent the cult to break up the marriage. Lisa latter stated that she cared for Micheal especially since they were both being controlled. She finally fled to England for 2 years to escape. Lisa's late son Ben said that Scientology has wrecked his brain, referring to their mind control tactics. Lisa said that losing her father at 9 years old was devastating because he was the only one who protected her. Finally in 2017 Lisa secretly removed her mother from the will and put her daughter Riley in charge. When she died in January, and Priscilla saw the will she went ballistic. She sued her own granddaughter and called the church who sent in Scientologist John Travolta to mediate for her at the settlement. Riley had to pay her a million to drop the lawsuit, a retainer of $400,000 a year as an advisor, 1/9 of Elvis estate to her son by another man. Priscilla got a burial plot near Elvis, you know the guy she left for his Karate instructor? She continues to say he was the love of her life, as she stabs him once again in the rehash of her book and the second remake of Elvis and Me. People are beginning to wake up, but the said thing is that the Church of Scientology owns a hunk of Graceland. she will say or do anything for money.

Has Priscilla ever thought that she has betrayed Elvis? Who wants their intimate life revealed through the years? No, Priscilla thinks of Priscilla, as is made clear in the book about her.

Lisa Marie said in an email that the script seemed “vengeful”. She didn’t approve of the tone of this film before she passed. Elvis aside, Priscilla left out a lot of things that would have made her look bad. While they both had affairs and Elvis was obviously far from perfect but neither was Priscilla. Mike Stone her affair partner was himself married and had a pregnant wife. This wasn’t in the movie. Last year, Priscilla went after her own granddaughter in court to contest the will of Lisa Marie after her passing. Priscilla has shown herself to be a ruthless person. This movie that she was the executive producer of is an example. She also demanded to be buried next to the love of her life (Elvis) in the settlement but she also decided to further bury Elvis with this film.

There were many women/girls in Elvis's life during his time with Priscilla. Should be an interesting story from Priscilla's perspective nonetheless. Off topic - the amount of fillers in her face is disturbing.
