Great work dude ! You’re truly doing justice to the artist whose genius was displayed in this show and for that matter of fact, to any piece of cinema/songs that you’re explaining. The real meaning and the intelligent writing and expression of that emotion goes unnoticed by common people. Truly happy seeing someone give so much respect to the creators for their genius compositions. You’re doing a wonderful job also by making encouraging people to watch movies and songs by another point of view Great job man, looking forward to more such videos where I can appreciate the art and the artist. Wishing best for you🙏🏼
bhai yaar tu kya aadmi h bhai....... matlab bro CRAZY RESPECT bro. This movie always had a special place but i never realized that it's just not the plot but the bgm also that played an important role. Bro mad respect for decoding this for us.
@@Inotherwordsyt us not talking about them doesn't mean we don't notice them:)))❤ idk kya fallacy hai dimag mein that makes us feel ki we like it toh automatically doosre ko pata lag gaya. definitely a fallacy I guess though. applicable everywhere, what do you think? lovedddd this videoooooo and all the lil additions you made. and as the video approached the end, I couldn't help but love the fact that you are wearing a half sweater:)))))❤❤❤❤❤
Anurag Basu and Imtiaz ali are one of the best gems we have in the Industry but with Mr.Performer Ranbir Kapoor that background score is just awesome 🔥❤😊🫶🏻
Na baba na... This is toooooo much... This movie is already perfect and oh so sooooo many things and feelings... Your autopsy is brilliant mate... It just hurts though...
Perfectly made video. I am so engrossed by the song 'Picture shuru ' that till now i can't help myself humming the song at beginning of any movie in the theatre. I amazed how minutely you have explained about the instruments used and its correlation to the characters and transition. Till now my every trip to Darjeeling goes parallel with an imaginary Darjeeling Shown by Anurag Basu. That's the magic of music. You have decoded it really well. Keep it rolling....
Genuine feedback bcz you asked for it - I too was expecting a video on the songs of Barfi instead of BGM. Initially, I felt the symbolism of the bgm isn't my cup of tea (as I dont play any instruments and hence dont have much knowledge of the intricacies involved in it). But I am glad I stuck to the video. Your analysis of the music made me realise that maybe the music directors and composers put so effort into it and what a pity that I didnt had the brains to appreciate it. Haha. Two things specifically gave me a jolt - 1. The duality of sarangi and how you used it to explain Ileana-Ranbir's mixed reactions. (Kind of a wow moment for me) 2. Silence in itself is music. (Surely gonna use that line somewhere) So, yes keep up with what you're doing. It wont be possible for each and every video to be this amazing. I have no idea how RU-vid algorithms works for good content but I hope you somehow decode it. Haha. Absolutely great work!
Oh my god man i am stunned. Your understanding of music my friend is seriously out of this world. I am a musician myself and have always believed that music is my life and i have known this for the longest time that bgm always goes unnoticed even though its so so so very important for film, but today today you taught me so much more about it. Like especially that minute detail where you pointed out that no music was played when shruti's fiancée was shown on the screen that was for real such a detailed observation that i have never noticed. I never even realized that absence of a particular tune can make me like a particular character so all I'd say is thank you and keep up the good work, let the content flow its honestly very engaging and totally worth spending time on
I don't remember the last time I cried. Amidst all the school work, family issues, and everything going around in my life, I do not remember when the last time I shed a tear. Until now. Barfi is my favorite movie. Although I have seen better movies than Barfi, this film still holds a special place in my heart. I'm not sure if it's due to nostalgia or some other reason, but Barfi has always had a special place in my heart. The album for this movie had a significant effect on its heartwarming qualities, as I knew it. But this video, with the whole decoding of the bgm, made me realize the real genius of it. It was wonderful to hear about it, and I did shed a tear at the end of the video. It's amazing how a simple decode video can bring out so many emotions within a person. I apologize if I sound overly emotional, but that's how I actually felt. After all, it's my favorite movie. Thank you again, this video made my entire day❤️
Spectacular decode. Nice scripting, easy to understand visualization and a great way to sum up a movie muscially. Keep up the awesome job. Hitting the subscribe button now.
This movie was absolutely perfect and I fell in love with the music album . This is still in my playlist since 2012. Its just changed from my memory card to RU-vid playlist.
Bro a 16 min long video kept me engaged so it definitely has grip. But my personal suggestion would be if this video had segments like how you are going to show it. Like 1) character intro 2) relationship music 3) moments/story 4) ending (the train sequence you said) 5) conclusion/video end
I was blown away by Barfi's cinematography (i think its the best I have seen in an indian movie in last 20 years) and the BGM. Hachiko is another movie that relies entirely on bgm and still makes a grown ass man like me cry. Please do check out Ustad Hotel (2011- Malayalam) which again moved me with its engrossing bgm.
You are such a genius man!! I had never seen anything like this before..The way you have decoded the music of this movie felt as if I was watching a musical!! Thank you so much for bringing out such wonderful musical piece!! You are amazing keep going ❤ 🎵🎶
Ohhh my God!!! The way you decoded such a beautiful BGM of a great movie... Your love for Music is so infectious... pls do keep making videos like this.. Videos like yours really makes me grateful for the existence of RU-vid!!
Loved your genuine work since 'Kun fya kun'. Barfi music decode is also good. Wished you covered more of masterpiece gazal 'Phir le aya' and the ride of feelings between Shruti, Barfi and Jhilmil.
@@Inotherwordsyt Undoubtedly the breakdown was amazing 😍🤩 Please breakdown Dracula Sir album,.. It's a Bengali movie also available in hindi and has great BGM😌❤️
Watched your “kun faya kun” as the first video and I can’t stop listening to all the songs you decoded after that I watched all your videos. You do your job phenomenally good ..this is exactly what I needed it feels such a joy to discover your channel and keep growing..You’re doing amazing work I can’t wait to see more such videos..All the Best !!!❤❤❤
Really needed this validation and how well you have put it for me Apurva! Thank you so much, keep watching and keep letting me know your honest takes on this!
It is just so beautifully decoded the depth of music which is used to create feelings for and against characters I mean I never thought that silences could build up a no feeling situation towards a character so amazing work and look forward to some more music pieces to get unfolded :)
Looks like my prayers were answered! Because last night I was just watching some of your older videos and wishing for you to make a new one. And looks like I've been blessed this morning! Also, another fantastic job. Keep it going man. You got my support ❤
You're currently my fav content creator, everyone now days are making video just for consistency but you're different right now, hopefully things will remain the same.(Love the quality)
No doubt the music was Magical, but what's more magical is your analysis of it and explanation in simple terms to help us appreciate it even more. Absolutely amazing. Super Stuff man!
Bro! This is a phenomenal work. I always loved Barfi and you gave me another reason to love it more. Some movies make space in your heart and you can't tell why. But, your decoding of this BGM made me realize how Anurag Basu is a mastermind director, and how this movie is made to win hearts. Keep it coming.
Yes! Also someone complained and want to check with you, mastermind/manipulator is not said here with a negative connotation. It is just simple plain flattery and power of bgm!
I was in lrimary school when I went to watch this movie with with my family in Jorhat Taranga cinema hall. I still remember how happy I was when jhilmil and barfi got their happy ending. Btw loved this video. I started watching you after Laila Majnu and Kunfayakun video. ❤❤❤
Please keep make more videos like this. The one i loved most was kun faaya kun video its amazing 👏. After watching this my interest increased more . ❤ your videos.
You are doing a wonderful job.. Your analysis and knowledge is commendable.. Please keep making more videos.. All the Very Best Brother... 👍 Hope your channel grows and reaches more of the people who appreciate Art, Cinema and Music... 🙏🏽🙌🏼🌼✨
Man this movie is so sad with anyone's POV.. Ranjeet wasn't at any fault at any point. He loved shruti with whole heart and still he didn't get her. Still it wasn't enough for shruti..
The dissection was great... The interpretations of the video were really insightful. Amazing effort. Just one fact that keeps ringing in my mind.... That why don't we celebrate the genius of Pritam as much as AR Rahman or any other musician. He has really delivered multiple innumerable gems. I think its high time creators appreciate and give due credit to his talent. Just a food for thought. Great video... 🙂
Another masterpiece from this genius boy... Love u man!! Hat's off!! I wait for ur every new video.. a fan boy since I saw ur video first time.. Pls share more details about yourself sometimes.
Do attend the live on Sunday 8PM for more ;) So happy to know you have been a fellow traveller for so long! Which was my first video that you ever saw?
lovedddd this videoooooo and all the lil additions you made. and as the video approached the end, I couldn't help but love the fact that you are wearing a half sweater:)))))❤❤❤❤❤
Your videos give me new perspectives of watching films and it's brilliant how you notice so many little details... Will be waiting for more decodes....❤❤❤❤
Absolutely Loved your video , you could make hour long videos explaining music and I'd watch them all. I already loved everything about barfi and you made it even more beautiful and lovable . Love you so much
I like how In the song tere bina zindagi se koi sikwah toh nhi He or she try to say one thing but after hearing it 2 and third time you can feel that it's not true it's so simple and brilliant
This movie makes me cry and laugh simultaneously and now I know why! Been a fan of the bgm of this film, which is why I keep watching this movie every now and then! Mad respect for you to have decoded all this so well, would love to learn this skill from you some day🙈💞
When scenes copied are so well known, I will not call those plagiarism , rather homage to the those classic scenes. Many other world wide acclaimed directors do this.
bhai hafteh me minimum 2 videos toh chahiye apki zinda rehne ke liye. Just love it man. Bhai mera request hai Rabbi Shergill ka " Tere Bin " wala song zarur decode carna
What an analysis bhai! But baad me violen ka use jhilmil and barfi ki chemistry ke liye kyu hua woh smjh nhi aaya. Lekin Completing a circle wala kaafi badiya tha and much more! Thankyou for this video and please make more such videos so that people like me can appreciate and understand the beauty of music
You are right, agar jhilmil barfi ke liye constantly xylophone use karte toh clear rehta but I am idea is.. they kept violin as the female in relationship and accordion as barfi!
Just watched barfi with heavy raining outside and lights out. Added to my favourites list. It was in my hard drive for 6 years and i didn't notice untill yesterday. One of the best movie of Bollywood.
Bhai,I'm not a very artistic person, but I love the fact that art helps you to express your feelings in words you didn't know you needed. Your decodes are like that. They scratch and itch I didn't know I had and knowing all this depth of thought that has gone into this BGM makes me... Happy. Thank you so so much
I subscribed to your channel a few months back. The reason being the process of dissection you follow. There's a poetic element which is devoid of parasitic criticism and it breeds hope for those who love cinema and the way it is presented through music. There was Vineet Masran who created a channel named Cinema Beyond Entertainment and it changed the perception of thousands towards cinema. And now here you are. It feels damn good to see a person who oozes vulnerability which makes an easy path for music to get processed in your soul. The kindness you show to everything music is made of helps us to feel just like the way you're doing. Keep on growing. Best wishes, Comrade!
