Marriage is a pointless institution, anyway, and I'm pretty sure that the sheer trouble of going through a divorce is why many couples stay together when they really shouldn't.

You are so, so right. I think a LOT of women in particular end up marrying someone who isn’t right for them, because they panic, and get that “last train out” mentality. “I’d better get married before I’m too old and it’s too late. He’ll do! Show me the dresses!” For us, 35 is a maternal marker. Things begin to fade at that age. Men don’t “expire” the way we do, you know? They’ve no idea what that feels like. Not really. Ava Gardner once commented that actors get older, while actresses just get old. I’m paraphrasing, and in my head I replace “actors/actresses” with “men/women” but that feels so true, and resonates with me so strongly. I realize of course that societal pressures and social norms have a lot to do with all of the above. That a lot of it is perception? In the end, it doesn’t matter. We still go through it, and it’s still hard.

Just because someone is beautiful and financially stable doesn't mean they can have anything in the world. It doesn't work that way.

Each culture deserves a primary language. It’s for order and identity and to maintain the culture. No one from the US goes to another country to demand that people speak their language. And yea it’s great to be able to speak other languages. It’s NOT people being unable to have an open heart. Americans are and have always been generous.

Yes, this happens with a lot of gorgeous (or cutely beautiful) girls. They either intimidate the ones they find interesting, or their authority figures chase them away (with good intentions), or they just remain happy with themselves because they are intelligent. Regardless, whether this earth makes any sense, you are definitely worthy of love, and you should just keep doing you, trusting God, and finding new ways to be mentally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually engaged in this wide, wondrous, fascinating universe(s). @@PutinsMommyNeverHuggedHim I saw hell while I was sleeping. I had done s.th. very immoral (cheating) and afterwards taken sleeping pills but not enough to die. Then suddenly I was falling towards a huge sea of fire, very dark, with screaming people in there. But most horrible was I saw the devil with eyes so mean staring at me and all the time it was like in a huge earth quake, he was vibrating so much with hate I was terrified and scared. And all the while I was falling I screamed „it is true, it is true, they have deceived me, it is true … (I meant that there is a hell which I had stopped believing in). I am so glad God showed me this, I am so lucky so lucky. I did not return to God right away, I was too confused but a year later I prayed to Jesus for first time „Jesus, if you exist please help me..“ And then went to sleep and at night saw Lord Jesus, looking at me with eyes so full of love, like an ocean of love, I almost died he was so beautiful. And He said „but I am here, I have been waiting for you..“ I dont remember what else, think I would die remembering but then I could believe having seen, and returned to Him. And now try to live for Him, Jesus and for mother Mary who He gave me as a help to obey and follow Him. I am so happy and all my sins that I thought I could not give up, were taken from me, no more temptations, they vanished without a fight. Need no more cigarettes, drugs, sex and could forgive everyone. All we need is trust in Jesus. The greater the sinner, the more happy Jesus will be over our return. We are born for winning not losing. We should come as we are, if Jesus did not take our sins and love for sin away, then he would not blame us for sinning. Jesus can change all your tastes like snip of fingers
