San Miguel de Allende, nestled in the heart of Mexico's central highlands, is a captivating blend of old-world charm and vibrant culture. This enchanting city, renowned for its well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture, boasts cobblestone streets lined with colorful buildings, baroque-style churches, and lively plazas. The iconic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, with its striking pink towers, dominates the skyline, serving as a focal point for both locals and visitors. Beyond its architectural beauty, San Miguel de Allende is a hub for artists and artisans, offering a plethora of galleries, workshops, and cultural festivals. Its rich history, warm climate, and welcoming community make it a must-visit destination for those seeking an authentic and picturesque Mexican experience. Great video, Chris and Sara!
Homes in San Miguel are absolutely beautiful. We stayed at gorgeous old house on the side of a hill, 5-6 floors with an in credible patio over looking the town and a pool on the top level. Best Airbnb ever
One of the best videos in SMA!!!! And I’ve been there 5 times. We live in a northern state, Coahuila. 9 hour drive. Hope we drive down there in the fall!!! Thx!!! 🫶🏻🇲🇽🤩
I've been looking at videos about Mexico for about 2 years and never stumbled across your channel before. I like how you go slowly through the places you visit instead of trying to put a whole bunch of information and rush through several sites on one video. Another interesting thing about is I have seen at least six videos on San Miguel de Allende and not one mentioned the hot springs. All a good reminder that we need to do comprehensive research before we decide on a place to visit or live ❤
The architecture, the hot springs, the vineyard, the chocolate... San Miguel looks amazing! We absolutely loved getting a glimpse into your visit there as we're planning to go next year! 😊 Also, absolutely love the vibes you capture through your cinematic storytelling 😍
Love San Miguel de Allende! We lived there for just over a year and have moved on to a different part of Mexico now. If you are still there - there's some great roof top restaurants and bars where you could also take Kramer as they are dog friendly. Great to be there and watch the sunset! 🌵🌻🌴🌶 PS - if you are going to pass thru Puebla Mexico (where we currently are) it would be great to meet up with you 😉
Absolutely LOVE that you do so much of the non-resort (not that they're horrible) travel that has more character than typical travel channels do. Thanks for another great video!🥰😍 Praying for continued safe travels🙏
Oooo Sara I would have been FREAKING OUT driving down that narrow street 😂 this 100% looks like our kind of day! We always love finding hot springs and this one is now high on my list to try out!
@@chrisandsara YES @0:42. it's a "pretty off the beaten path" for you to have ended on while driving your huge van into town VS just staying on the main roads
I know this isn't real time. But I was wondering about you guys tonight. I am a complete stranger but worry about your safety. PS....the churches are stunning.
La Gruta is not what it used to be. Sadly is way more urbanized and way less spiritual/holistic. The new owners didn't respect the old school esthetics of it and now it looks like a small water park. There are other places to go now, just a tip.
