To the few people that are misunderstanding… Of course you should try your best at school, however if you get bad grades like me, you shouldn’t let it define you and your future. MT 👊
I’m glad you’ve addressed this, I’m in the place you were I am currently working a low paying job and want to start a business administration apprenticeship so that I can gain experience to start my own business one day. Thank you for the boost.
For some fields school is very important. Surgeon, lawyer, maybe even engineers. The little things you do in school contribute on your brain training, the way you think, your analytical mind. You think this way because the education system in USA is very bad, so there has little impact on the young. I was born in the communist Romania where school was tough. I can't say it was 100% good, but I can't deny the impact on the way I think. The fact you that you become rich has to do with a lot of other factors. If everyone sells stuff, no one will be rich, because there would ne nothing to sell. All the people on this planet cannot become rich in the same time. Also all the people on this planet cannot be salers, or brokers, etc. Someone has to produce the things we use, someone has to build the world. Many people became rich on the back of others because the system allowed them, then they come and say school doesn't matter, because they've made money and that's everything. Being useful for the society and becoming rich are two totally different things. A good School matters. It will not determine everything, it must come from you as well, you can't count just on the school, but it's important.
My father was 17 when he quit school (he was an 7-8 grader lol), he worked at restaurants washing dishes deliverying food etc. Some year after that he started to work on his business, which he sold to start living with my mother, they lost alot of money with bad invests, and lost their job some time after that. Both my mom and dad started to work on their own my mom still had some pacients (she is an psychologist) and my dad started to work endless hours on another business and after 4 years me my parents and my 3 siblings have a rlly rlly wealthy and healthy life and i am SUPER GRATEFULL for my parents hardwork.
School is great concept, horribly executed bro. You dont need any knowledge you learn after elementary school. The rest should be extra curriculum so you dont spend too long learning crap your never gonna use. Like only specific jobs are gonna use algebra, why would u spend 3 years learning?
Schools don’t say this anymore, it’s parents, my school says don’t be too caught up on it there’s always options afterwards, but my parents especially my mum makes it seems like if I don’t get a boring high paying job I die.
@@andresousa2704Europe? Europeans don’t really care tbh their “slaves” be drinking at the age of 12. Unless your in education or politics in Europe your exam score don’t matter. Exam score really only matter in Korea China Japan in that order
@@andresousa2704 Yeah, i live in the countryside so it makes it even worse. You cant get a job of your dreams because the nearst school that can teach this thing is fucking 30km away. Not only that, you cant be even 30% sure that you will even get a job after all the school bullshit. And then you look at finland where public schools treat everyone like someone important.
I passed high school with a 2.5 GPA, scored an 850 on the SAT, but I drive tractor trailers for a living and make $90,000 a year. Don't let numbers at school control your future if you have a passion for it then do it. Sometimes the best things happen when you jump in blind
So you failed school and now work a job in which most people would never take and earn money most jobs are willing to pay you within 10 years of graduating? Well done?
@Peter poli If you want to think that that cool, but when I'm retired at 55 with fuck you money because I had that grindset in my 20s building up my financial portfolio and you didnt, don't come crying to me. I didn't fail school, my parents failed me and my school. If kinda hard to do homework when your parents tell you "chores before homework," and I've got to run a farm by myself because my dad is working the night shift
@@peterpoli2839 Most people earn a median yearly wage of $38k a year. I'd drive a tractor or truck for 90k a year before I work educated bullshit jobs for 70k in NYC. Status is what you own and show off not what you do, a penny is a penny
@@indrax2973 bro made a valid argument with many points and you come and and tell him to do more research without disproving or contesting any points he made💀 Take your own advice, no point in telling someone to look more into something if you don’t give a reason to.
Yes but if you look at any study concerned with entrepreneurship below the age of 30 and with no prior industry knowledge or experience, you will find a very low successrate amongst these businesses. If you go by statistics and logic you should start your own business in your mid forties when you already have experience, connections and some capital
@@Luis-ps6ek statistics are the worst thing to rely on when it comes to determining success as statistics are just raw data which don't take into account any other variables
I like it when he told the actual 'HOW' part of the video, it's was very concise and specific with it having 'totally' no vague broadness at all! how life changing!
They don’t define it, but decades of research suggest a pretty strong correlation to lifetime earnings both for yourself, and intergenerational incomes
Intergenerational wealth is not created by a good job... The only way is to be entrepreneur and maje good investments. How many properties can you buy with a lifetime of salary? The only real skill in the end is INVESTING . Educate yourself the next 20 years so your grand grandkids can enjoy the wealth
@@jeppepuus where do engineers make 200k euros? Software engineers here in Germany make 70k eur when they're in mid career lmao, your numbers are crazy inflated
Education doesn’t 100% determine your future but it does help create a stable job. Starting your own business is obviously not an easy task and often times is pretty risky. A good education can create a solid, and a stable job.
I needed to hear this. I went from straight A student to high school “dropout” because of mental illness dealing with trauma - I went to an alternative high school which crushed me because I knew I was capable of doing much more. I finished 2 years late and I’m still in a rut but I have to do something. I now have someone interested in doing business with me in the tech sector, so hopefully things are looking up.
Yeah I am a high senior who is in information systems and computer science. I'm enrolled into university. If you want anything towork with in the future, let me know!!!
I was one of the best students , i was so fast in math, i came in top ranks in many city exams Than I got depressed Because of family problems I have mental disorders now
We've the same story bro. I too went from straight As to Bottom of the Barrel because of bullying trauma and covid. But I promise to myself that I'll be successful one day and that day I'll laugh on everyone that underestimated me. More power to us all🙏🏼
Yeah,I'm 15 and I'm thinking about starting some business, however I didn't made my mind up yet so I'm still staying at school, and I want to finish at least high school even if my business goes well. But if it doesn't go well then I'll look for some university, maybe about law and politics.
@@AltaGamer98 if it doesn't work try again learn from your mistake. People keep failing and falling but it doesn't matter. You're 15 you've got enough time to start a business and learn, learn hard.
As a college student who has been questioning the point of my degree for over a year now, but couldn't leave here because of parents and now i resent for not having the courage to leave, this place has done me no good infact has damaged my ability and capacity to learn, all they do is waste our precious time, spent a year regretting coming here and barely surviving college, which made me strongly believe if i can't do good in a place like this i will never be able to anything remarkable in life and end up being jobless, i lost all sense of self worth and self confidence, so I badly needed to hear this. Thankyou so much sir!❤

I’m 42 and I just became an engineer. I was doing housekeeping for UNM before this. I’m so proud of myself. Went from 12.50 and hour to 120,000 a year. So so proud of myself. It’s never to late to succeed
@@totyyyyyyy But successful school graduates aren't lucky. And also, selling wooden trash cans for 2$ an hour and becoming that successful after 35 years really isn't luck but persistence which you don't find in college.
It's also 2024 and it's impossible to pull something like this anymore. The world is way more technologically complex and moves faster. I wish people like him stopped giving out this kind of advice and instead advocated for fair wages.
There is a good reason for it, in grade 3 I got bad grades and an elderly in my family told me I am going to end up in the streets in future. Kids are most vulnerable to getting their brain wired. The problem is so many unsuccessful, undetermined, unambitious and below average people randomly spitting out opinions.
Even one of my teacher said that higher grades can make life easier in the future but i think that that right decisions and hardwork can make a successful future .
A Wise Man Once Said SCHOOL IS LIKE YOU CARRYING A HUGE BOULDER ON YOUR BACK AND THE LAST DAY IS LIKE DROPPING IT AND FINALLY BEING ABLE TO BREATHE AND REST. that wise man is me.
It does, actually. Just to name one: if you dont learn to be polite in school, you aint doing shit in life. Just imagine speaking to your boss like you would with your lil brother. You life fucking ends there
@@TheRealRenAmamiyaI know you should be polite always, but if you are mean in School you will go to jail before you even get a job, and you don’t need to always be polite in certain situations, it’s ok to fight back physically and/or mentally if needed.
There are always examples of individuals who succeed on their own terms. Most of us will never have that ability. I’m no dummy, but without my two engineering degrees and a “corporate” structure with opportunities and HR infrastructure, I would have been lost. Most of us need a clear path. The success may never be “mega wealth”, but it’s not hard to become a millionaire as an engineer, doctor, lawyer, accountant, etc. For most of us, the university with a profession is a better choice.
You do realize RU-vidrs know people who struggle with school will watch and comment. And plenty don't think it all the way through using stats online that tell the opposite story!!
Good point , we had to go to prestige schools from primary to secondary school then the exams nonsense . As you mention here most of the truly successful ones were self employed ❤️
Mark - I’ve been a long time fan of your channel. These authentic videos are helping thousands of people, including myself. Thanks for all you do … Azul
Bruh. You could have also lost everything and kept working in that can store or something for all life. School makes you sure about your future, not "rich". You are one in a million
Same. I left school at 15 without any qualifications. I’m 46 now and sold my business I started from scratch to one of the largest companies on the planet and now I’m a retained consultant for them. Just crack on guys and do what you do.
Tbh i dont think most people have what it takes to start a business. Id rather people still go to school or go to trade school for a cheaper option. Everything is so optimized by big box stores so idk…
Thats a dream❤ having almost no responsibility. Having money.being at top. You are the boss. Your dream house or anything, you can spend time with your family😢❤❤
That may be true, but at the end of the day, if u want to be an engineer or doctor, they still want to see a piece of paper. If its like dancing or art, then ur probably right
I should have dropped out after middle school, worked for four years, gotten a GED, and then started taking classes at a community college. It would have been a hell of a lot cheaper than what I did.
I finished highschool with a 2.5 gpa. I’m in college now about to finish with high honors and a degree that I very much enjoy. No debt, fully paid for by scholarships and money I’ve made. I don’t believe school is necessary for anyone but I think it is a great option if you feel as though you will get something out of it and really enjoy what you are doing and the plans you have for your future. And I promise you that a college education when done right is much better than any grade school education. Not only do you have more specialized teachings, you have more resources, connections to your career path, and help finding a career that you want. Like I said though, you definitely don’t need it. But every single person is different with their own goals and personal situations.
@@pylo2841 community college for my associates, transferred to a college for my major. significantly cheaper and that’s when I realized that I need to get things together. I also recommend community college, it saved me a lot.
Although I partially agree - Don’t let survivorship bias cloud your judgement, don’t let this be an excuse to just give up. Putting it harshly, this guy is a rare example of someone successful who happened to leave school early. Think about everyone else who regrets their decision to leave school right now. Then decide if it’s the right decision for you.
Tbf none of this guy's videos include anything most people don't already know, and some are just wrong, which shows how massive a factor luck really is
@@ronanconroy7672 grinding for 35 years isn't luck but the mindset that school has enforced into you makes you think that most successful school dropouts are lucky but those just sitting there weaping and moaning about drooping out blaming the past for their failures are a reason why this successful man is wrong is pathetic. Let those hopeless people who were meant to fail even after completing school do what this guy did and let's see what happens.
Statistically most entrepreneurs fail, you do have to be very lucky to end up a multi millionaire from it. Hard work improves your chances but realistically if you want to work hard you're more likely to become a multi millionaire by becoming a doctor or engineer. @@zenkaienergy3135
true but not true. also think of everyone who did finish school and may as well not have. most do finish school and go nowhere in life. FYI, i'm a drop out and not a massive success, but i don't regret not doing well in school. i am on a path of self learning and business. i thought i was a failure but it was school that failed me. not me that failed school. i'm actually doing pretty well self learning and i'm try my best in business. if all fails, i can use my skills to land a job. life does suck tbh. it is what it is. school is not the be all end all.
as an Indian, i can relate to this so much... all my parents and relatives told me is: "score good in 10th boards and life will be set" "score good in 12th boards and life will be set" "score good in college and life will be set" ok boomers, when the actual frick will my life really be set?
I remember teachers fed us this lie in 7th grade. I’m from Texas, and they tried getting us to take a standardized test from another State. I purposely bombed that exam and not a damn thing happened to me
Exactly even top universities didn't even asked my class 10 grades that i achieved with intense pressure from society!! Forget about jobs even universities won't ask for class 10 grades!!
Well my dad went to school, studied, got good grades, and it payed off. Gets $200,000 works from home, and it was great Same with me as well Work at school and sometimes you may not need it, but I haven’t regretted the effort I’ve spent on school

I have a friend who did not pick up their diploma, after a couple of months he decided to call to arrange a date to pick it up, they told him they have lost it and there is nothing they can do, since they can’t prove he has been studying there
While I agree, I do have to say that I think having an education of atleast high school is very important as something to fall back on, it’s true that you don’t need perfect grades though
My parents used to say "study hard, if u get good marks you will be succesful" But now they instead tell "dont worry about marks, improve your mindset and life and start hard working"
