Wonder Boy literally describes what Sean is good at. That little faint, making guys overreact/ bite super hard and then coming at them catching them off guard. Almost to a T what he did. Aljo came in super hard, over loaded and Sean moved his head just enough. Then landed one of the prettiest punches you’ll ever see! I got to watch Sean in an amateur fight a LOOONG time ago. Awesome and absolutely Crazy to see how far he’s come since then! Shoutout to Wonder Boy. One of my absolute favorite fighters of all time. He’s not in the top five greatest fighters but he’s in my top five favorites to watch. Because of his style and I love that Sean is in the ring kind of fighting with the same style. Wonder Boy won’t be around too much longer in the octagon but I think he’ll have an awesome post fight career also. These video break downs are great and he would be terrific on a live broadcast pre/post fight.

I mean 16 is pretty young. But he also has experience. He has plenty of amateur fights, kickboxing, mma fights, and boxing fights just because you haven’t been dicking around at 8 years old doing karate doesn’t mean it gives you experience in a fight. Having plenty of fights getting a lot of time in the gym is what’s going to give you the experience you’re going to get most of that in your 20s.

@chrispee5786
@chrispee5786 11 месяцев назад
masterclass? it would be if he fought ppl his size! i mean he´s like 6ft tall, and fighting dudes that are like 5´3 -5´4. so that definitely takes away from it. now if he moves up and fights ppl his size in height + reach and still outclases them , then we can say its a masterclass. till then he.s no different than yair,magny,zabit and many other frame bully´s. btw i do think he is really good in striking not hating on the guy. but i saw him say in a interview. ¨id like to fight gervonta since he´s 5´3 and i do really well against shorter opponents¨

Was it just the prep time and not having a camp for that specific fighter? Was there any upside in him taking that fight? Has he spoken about it? Dana is calculated in the way he releases information. If people start siding with *any* fighter against the UFC, he doesn't hesitate to try to hurt that person in the media. I find it crazy that people are trying to set him up as some kind of pariah because *the other guy* missed weight. Wonderboy has made it clear he wants to go for the title. Garry beating Magny moves him up the ranks. I'm sure if that gets him closer to a title shot, Wonderboy will take it.

@@tamie341 naw suga just needs to be himself. Hopefully he’s been working on his takedown defense (which I know he has) but Sean does have some of the best striking in the UFC but when u have to focus on takedowns that little bit of hesitancy means allot and now he isn’t striking like normally going against another striker that doesn’t look for takedowns. And I hope I’m wrong! Hope Sean wins! Would love to see that

Agreed. Justin Gaethje in the PFL was unlike any fighter I’ve ever seen. Dude went through some of the biggest wars I’ve ever seen , before he even stepped foot in the ufc

Yep! I watched one Justin Gaethje fight and then I had to watch them all the same day! That was WSOF before his UFC days and I remember thinking I couldn't wait to watch him in the UFC, then it happened.

Enjoyed your breakdown of these two awesome fighters, Stephen. Kinda hope Sean wins it simply because I love his fighting style. He's a good communicator also. Side note. Don't know if Dana payed you but I still wouldn't work for someone who won't pay show money when you followed everything specified in the contract. I would take a walk and never look back.

But we don't know what was in the contract right? I bet this was covered in there somewhere when he signed it unfortunately. I Wish he got payed too what a joke. And a bad look, it would have been worth the money for his reputation and relationship with the fans. The dude gambles that much or more a night when he hits the blackjack tables
