My pei also loves to go on walks. I swear its the only thing he will get up for.

I had my Shar pei for 14 years and the only part of fetch she would do is run after what ever was thrown, literally never brought it back tho. Think it’s a shar pet thing. The bath thing......Yeah that was always a challenge. Not once in 14 yrs was there an ‘easy bath time’. Not a fan of water. The best thing I did for her was socialise her as soon as I could, I’ve met other shar pies who are cautious around most other (unknown) dogs and people, however mine was friendly with every one and every thing (except German Shepard’s for some reason). I think this is because she was used to being around a lot of new people/animals from an early age. She also had a mean set of teeth. Angry AF looking front teeth and Scissors for back teeth. The best advice I can give for toilet time is this; set a regular, short but often walking pattern. As I understand SP are a typically clean breed that prefer not to make a mess in their own home (including the garden) if they know there’s 2/3 -30 minute walks a day they will also form a habits. Licking the paws: I cannot stress this enough, it’s most likely a fungal infection GET ON TOP OF IT ASAP. Mine started licking her paws really badly at about age 6. And by age 7 she had demodectic mange which she would get in the neck, chest, groin, paws, legs and ears. Which led her to scratch till she bled and all her fur would fall out. Raw coconut oil was the best thing I found to help with the skin. Rub it on the affected areas it’s anti microbial and helps with the swelling. It’s better than any chemical medicines the vets will offer and it’s cheaper too. Watch out for twisted stomach, another reason it’s good to have a regular and regimented walking time. Helps release of pressure before problems arise. Mine had a twisted stomach at age 12 and it was f****** horrible, she did pull through but was never the same after, it really took its toll. Hopefully the pitty cross in yours will dull some of the negative health aspects known to pure bred shar pei. Hope you have a great life with your dog 👊

Some are different and that's perfectly fine hell I have 2 ones super protective and barks other super friendly and just wags his tail

Please, I have a 8mth boy shar pei. Should I worry, his eyes are always weeping

Where or how do you use it thanks! Do they have many health issues ?

@@mariana7802 used to rub it on dry itchy skin and feed her a spoonful as a treat daily. It’s not a miracle cure for bad skin but it defo helped.
