Great theory. I'd like to add that shidou can play for another even if just one of his grandparents is from another country. Also I think that Kunigami will not defeat shidou in the Pxg match and will revert to his hero mentality and work with the other bluelock players to defeat shidou in the world cup(who would be playing for another country)
Yaaa that'd be cool I think it'd be kinda sick to see them play on the same team and see Kunigami abandon his grudge against Shidou to start shifting back to a hero
I just realized how similar Shidou and Barou, specifically Barou before the 3v3 game. They're both strikers with great shooting ability and very self centered playstyles. Even in the U20 game Ego stated that Barou is fulfilling the Joker role that Shidou would've filled if he played in Blue Lock. The difference between them is that Shidou is more carefree and playing for fun while Barou is more disciplined and takes the game very seriously. This difference is also evident in the way they score, Shidou plays a lot of off ball and relies on instinct to get into good spots to shoot from, he's also very acrobatic. In contrast Barou prefers dribbling the ball himself and brute forcing himself into his effective range, and also later on unlocking both versions of Predator Eye. His shoots are all taken from the ground and relies on his power instead doing anything fancy. Shidou is a lot more reactive and relying on his instincts to find a spot on the enemy defense to receive a pass and shoot from. Barou is more proactive and would rather dribble the ball and create the opening himself for him to shoot, like the double nutmeg Predator Eye shot. Barou is also the only one so far with an Eye ability whose playstyle is not an analytical style. Ironically, despite Shidou being more carefree he is also very stubborn, he hasn't evolved much aside from overcoming challenges given to him but his overall playstyle is still the same all throughout the story. In contrast, Barou who is more disciplined has evolved a lot throughout the whole story, he can now somewhat work with a team and he unlocked an Eye ability. Shidou and Barou are basically the Yin and Yang of super egotistical strikers, very different and yet also very similar at the same time.
One of my theories is that Igarashi will barely not make the Top 23. Maybe Top 24 but then Shidou will leave and play for another team(most likely with Sae) making it so Igarashi makes the Top 23 out of luck from Shidou leaving.
it would be really interesting to see Shidou being from France and getting to play with France’s stacked under 20 team which would actually be an interesting opportunity to showcase how far he has come.
problem that most people see with Sae is that he is so strong, that if he will take the spot of someone who deserves to get the screentime or it will make the Japan team too strong. If other national teams are just as strong tho, i do not see much of an issue. What I wonder is that Rin wants to get his revenge, which cannot happen of they are both on the same team.. Doesnt make much sense
@@user-mw9zn9vk3v yeah, Rin’s revenge would be to get to the point of being served by his brother. That would mean being automatically recognized as the best by Sae
Shidou playing for one of the other parents countries, feels like its possible since the author likes to show all the aspects of football & when will he have another opportunity to show that side?
I was quite skeptical when I clicked on this video but I gotta admit after seeing this video that it doesn't seem entirely impossible. Shidou's philosophy & the narrative reasoning that he'd have to share the spotlight with other blue lockers seems to coincide with your theory. Although there are a few problems: 1. Are the blue lockers bound by contract ? If they are & since JFA now is monetizing NEL & blue lock would they really let Shidou join a different national team ? Given how JFA is run by corrupt & money hungry bureaucrats, I'd say no. 2. Nationality cannot be change within a few weeks. It takes atleast a year to clear language proficiency exams, get the documents together & other formalities. Having a parent from the country might help to expedite the process but that'll only save a few months at best. In addition to that, he'd need a few months to practice the combinations with his new team. The whole process would take atleast 2 years in real world & that's something that can't be done in the 50 days that remain for the u-20 wc.
@@sonicknucklees7148 acquiring nationality is a pre-requisite to apply for the national team. Since that alone takes 10-12 mponths, so pretty much yeah. For pro-athletes, it's a little more easy since you can safely assume that they're not a threat to national security but it'd still take them 6 months or so to change the nationality. That is excluding practicing combination & honing teamwork with the new team which would take a few more months on top of that.
Shidou playing for France would be inane ngl, he'll have Charles there who can already be his Sae atp and with Loki and Chapi, that'll be a crazy U20 World Cup Final Team.
He would probably be like Sae and play only in pro leagues only and will not play in the world cup But There is also a possibility that Japans team could be using different formations for different games to exploit the weakness of that team Also there is a possibility of rin or someone else getting injured which will allow shidou to play
I don't really think we can assume that Shidou's parents have a foreign origin just based on the character design because he probably is Ganguro(its a fashion of during really dark tan on the face and bleaching hair prevalent in japan)
what are talking about?? Shidou Does CARE about being #1 in football and literally said he wanted to impregnate the world, leaving his mark as being one of the best
@@edwardnewgate5511 I don’t think Sae has that kind of seniority to pull rank like that or push paperwork thru. Luna wouldn’t welcome Shidou on the first team either, too selfish
i think shidou will ot play for japan and kunigami getting a rematch and bauro called him a knight in the the second selection so in shidou and kunigamis rematch he will beat shidou\ slay the dragon.
