If there no one consumes milk then why would Gaushalas want to take care of cows? Also does not consuming dairy even help cows or buffaloes in a positive way?

Last year, we visited North India. One evening, as we were driving, a cow suddenly appeared in front of a car. There was a couple in the car, and unfortunately, their vehicle flipped multiple times-3 to 4 times, to be exact. The cow died instantly, and the couple was rushed to the hospital. I'm not sure what happened to them afterward. Shockingly, another day man on a motorcycle experienced a similar incident.our driver mentioned he's witnessed this countless times before.hundereds of them happen everyday because of stray cows. It's a pressing issue: these cows are suffering, and they are causing serious, sometimes fatal, accidents. Something needs to change.we need more young open minded people like Arvind to make this change.

@@jaybolt100 Indeed, forgot to add that. we stopped at a restaurant and were sitting outdoors when a very friendly female dog approached us. We gave her some bread, and after a while, she returned with her six small pups. While they were wagging their tails and seemed happy, it was painfully clear that they were all hungry and malnourished.both dogs and cows are very intelligent and social animals. It's unacceptable for any animal to be left to suffer on the streets, posing not only a threat to their own lives but also risking accidents for people. The Indian government must take decisive action to improve animal welfare and address this issue.

Just naming a few: Do you use electricity, do you live in a house, do u use basic transportation and it's infrastructure. Cell phones, internet, streaming services. It is just that they killing is exported to somewhere in remote place where they can't see. Whatif tmrw morning everybody turns vegetarian will food supplies be enough. All the factories processing veg food which come to the table. Is having a carbon footprint. It's just that showing supremacy, that I have killed one less creature, but behind the back killed in thousands

He said his cow starts making sound (it is called रम्भाना in hindi whenever she is on heat) and after the cohabitation, she stops making sound. His point of view was right that it is the nature of every living being to have sex. Where is inflicting pain in this? Yes, totally agree that dairy industry is bad and if one is not serving d cows in a spiritual way and only for profit then that is also incorrect. In our vedas also it is mentioned गावो विश्वस्य मातरः Well the male calf would go to नस्ल सुधार गौशाला and the female calf would remain at home. Yes we people not funding to gaushalas thats again incorrect but that doesn't mean that we stop having cows at home and do not consume milk or ghee. Arvind ! Question(s): Feeling of localization e.g.: proud of cricket team, killing enemies, insects are some examples of humans trying to latch on to something they relate better with. Do you really believe that you can slow down the industry by changing few peoples minds which may not think same 10 years down the lane, or you are just trying to reduce violence as much as possible, if its the latter then are you trying to conceptualize best practices and rules that people should follow so the pain to animals is reduced as compared to drastic changes like becoming vegan.

Then who milks the wild equivalents of cows, such as bison or aurochs? Don't they produce a large quantity of milk? Remember, domestication has significantly altered the biology and behavior of cows, leading to increased milk production. Domesticated cows produce large amounts of milk mainly due to: 1. Selective breeding: Humans have bred cows for thousands of years to emphasize desirable traits like high milk production. 2. Genetic modifications: Breeding programs have introduced genes that enhance milk production, like the "milk protein gene". 3. Hormonal stimulation: Farmers often use hormones like bovine somatotropin (BST) to increase milk production. Thus, humans are responsible for the current suffering of these animals.

This is good video. We are pure vegetarian and totally against any cruelty on any form of life. But I don’t find milk alternatives as good as cow milk. Pls understand we milk the cow only in 3 utters and 1 is left for the calf. I would like to point out that my village has a gowshala founded by maternal grandfather. This is a wonderful example of how humans and animals coexist together. In my village there’s no artificial insemination, but agree male calfs are not kept in the house, but these calfs are taken by the gowshala and taken very good care. These cows are fed with good food and rest in well ventilation sheds with good doctors on call. The gowshala earns from gobar based products, bio gas and bio manure that is procured from these abandoned calfs and cows who don’t give milk. Our gowshala is profitable and sustainable. Seeing the transparency we get lot of donations. I suggest instead of just blindly telling everyone to avoid dairy tell preach sustainable coexistence of cows and humans. TY

Yes, I agree that there will not be any alternatives that will replace the taste of milk, but that's just it. There are several products out there like pea milk that contains similar amount (or more) of protein, calcium, vitamin D and micronutrients. If you are still desperate to have dairy in your coffee, tea, food and for some religious rituals, then get any female members in your family to impregnate for you by your neighbours to satisfy your dairy intake. If you treat her well and feed her regularly the same way you treat the cows in your village, then she can produce milk for few years. You can give them all the respect such as claiming that they are your mothers just like how you normally claim about cows. This may sound vulgar but I guess there's no other way to tell this to you since you didn't get the point that was mentioned in the video.

Why are humans involved in forced pollination as he asked for forced insemination? Regardless of plant or animal, both forced insemination and forced pollination share the same motive - to reproduce and provide food. if u say forced insemination of cow to get milk is wrong, then forced pollination of plants to get the fruits/tomato and etc is also wrong

I'm a vegetarian with an almost vegan lifestyle. Still, Arvind ji, by your logic, we should forage food, not support plantation, or farming. I do not support veganism, as in total veganism, although I do support animal rights. Is it selective? No. At some point, the middle path will be shown to hardcore veganists. Your activism is because you seem to have an ethical heart. But you also know that in a scenario where a cow mates with a bull (naturally as you state), 25 to 40 liters of milk will be produced, of which the calf will consume at the most 3 to 5 liters, or a maximum of 20% body weight. That leaves us with 2 liters to 20 liters depending upon the breed of extra milk. And that is where ethical farming comes to place. I'm not looking for debate, different minds have different ways of seeing things, but I understand that veganism is an extremism only coming out of the pendulum minds of western people. The ardently support peace and then ardently go for world wars. They vehemently ask the female to dress up and they are the ones who again ask the female to support nudism as a way of liberation. Veganism is similar to such an idea from pendulum philosophers. Best is the middle path. Live by ones nature. Live true. No copying. No acting.

That is NOT AT ALL his logic! Sure, farming can be done more sustainably, an idea Vegans and Vegetarians agree with. But this idea that you can ethically get milk, sustainably from cows naturally mating? Bro, for 1.5 Billion people? Are you serious? Also, most vegans are anti-war. It is grotesque and highly fallacious how you're capitalizing on one side of the West, to go against another. Diaspora Indians were very much involved with the veganism movement. And a lot of that movement is based off Dharmic ideas! That's why Jain scholars also call for the adoption of this diet. You then come in here and reference how the West want their women to "dress up" and then go n... For liberation. You're PURPOSEFULLY conflating the left and the right for your agenda. And such ideas VERY MUCH exist in India as well!

why do you want to drink a cow's breast milk. When the next door lady becomes pregnant, why not ask her for some breast milk? Personaly, I prefer the taste of soy milk to cow milk anyway. By increasing the COST of food crops… Rice, lentils, vegetables, fruits 🍇 , oil seeds, etc.. all these food produce prices have to be increased and should be paid by the Indian public to keep the farmers in farming profession… PRICE HIKE OF plant sourced food when majority of people become vegans, will help to keep farmers in business

I am sure you don't know the meaning of subsidy😂
@jaybolt100
@jaybolt100 17 дней назад
@ stray helper…. subsidy is provided by government, which means it’s our tax again, (subsidy money doesn’t grow on trees)😂… Yes we need to provide more subsidy to the farmers, from our tax money✅. And basic food items like rice, lentils should be subsidised and given at affordable prices only to BPL population. The middle class people should still pay that extra money either directly to shops or indirectly as tax for subsidy money… This is my understanding of subsidy… let us here what u know of subsidy🦻👂

❌🥗 Why veganism isn’t practical ❓. so many vegans followed vegan diet passionately for few years, & they suffered health issues after few years.❌ Some vegans are successfully continuing vegan diet, by meticulously following a vegan diet plan.✅ This shows that to be successful in vegan diet, it has to be meticulously planned & supplemented (B12) & requires periodic counselling by dieticians to make necessary changes in the vegan diet. Vegan diet is a FRAGILE diet for those who can’t follow the meticulous diet plan, that’s y we see 86% ex vegans With a 1.5 billion Indians & limited health care resources, it’s impossible to carry out such counselling & avoid nutrition deficiencies. People who can afford time & money to get such nutrition counselling should certainly follow a vegan diet ✅. People in marginal communities, rural population, should continue their time-tested dietary practices.

I have been vegan for 3 years and never once consulted a dietician. Also, vegan food is the *cheapest* food. If you have particular reservations regarding veganism we can discuss them one by one.
@jaybolt100
@jaybolt100 17 дней назад
@@abhishekkhetan 3 years is not much, 6 years is a reasonable time for deficiency symptoms to be evident. U never consulted a dietitian, but still u got guidance through online videos on vegan diet plan which are mostly in English ❓❓❓. How many people from 1.5 billion population has such education to learn about diet from such online videos. Vegan diet is cheap, I agree bcoz vegetables, fruits, seeds, legumes, grains, millets are cheaper in cities compared to chicken, fish in cities ✅. But in villages, backyard chickens, desi cows milk also comes at zero cost for the villagers because they don’t have to feed them anything extra. (Of course dairy cows will be fed extra feeds for more milk produce, but I’m talking about 2 desi cows per family). For farmers making soya milk is time consuming, buying soya milk is additional cost… but milking family cows for family use is time saving & zero cost. When vegan diet is cheaper in cities, vegetarian (& occasional meat) is more economical & practical in villages. So people in cities, who are smart enough to learn from online videos, literature can follow vegan diet. People in rural areas, less literacy levels should stick with their time-tested diet

@@jaybolt100 Let the people who r in a possible scenerio change first Like u mentioned in cities may be Then we will eventually make it affordable to everyone Marketing works on supply and demand If demand for meat decreases even in cities it would definitely affect villages and about the awareness point We r able to spread as much as possible when it was tym of pandemic like covid to all 1.5 billion population Why not the same right now It will be tym consuming, but only at the initial stage when we shift We have to analyse what nutrients we r missing from meat and find plant alternate Once we figured out that it's easy Then after we r just gonna simply continue taking it We don't check if carrot has vitamin A daily, once it is established it will always have Y can't we spend these few hours for animal welfare And to mention, not only in English, the activism in done in every languages, many people are speaking up!! We can make it

The main reason people quit veganism is not due to dietary deficiencies but due to social pressure. The statistic you are quoting comes from a study that lumps together all vegetarians and people following a plant based diet. The number of ethical vegans who quit is significantly lower

@@Yash-h2s No side effects of taking B12 supplement Since there is no upper limit and the vitamin is water soluble Our body absorbs the required and gives out the excess through urine

@user-eo9ft5xn9z No, even if you take excess of it, it'll pass through your urine after the body stores it in the liver and muscles. No harm there. You also don't have to take B12 everyday as the stored B12 can sustain you.

@@arvindanimalactivist8192 arvind you talked about forced insemination of female cows. But cows have natural breeding every year. Those who have a target of reproducing certain number of cows in a year they go for artificial insemination. But those who really consider cow as mother, they will wait for it to happpen naturally during certain seasons. Those who do artificial insemination they are not doing real seva of cows. They are hypocrites i feel. But that does not mean true cow lover does not exist. Regarding taking milk of the calf, doesn't a true cow maintainer has in mind that he has to take care of that calf just like his kids to whom cow is providing milk? If one has a true kindness he knows how to balance between the two so that there is win win situation.
