I've got a Toyota Alphard for all of those reasons, beautiful conversion by Wellhouse Leisure, less than half the price of a VW. Everyday driver, love it 😊

I have a VW campervan and it is Motor Caravan on the V5C log book. The vehicle category is N1 light goods vehicle. The small seat at the rear I use for storing quilt, foam mattress topper and pillow. The bedding is straight to hand when needed.

Nice entry level campervan, good to see a heater in there. Possibly room for a portapotti as well. The height means it can fit into car parks that larger vans cant do. Thanks for another good video and Emily asking the questions that Kevin wouldn't adds to the video!

Diesel heater in our T5 uses about 1ltr per 5 hrs on low about double that if on high but it’s never on high for long as it gets too bloody hot ! Best investment ever allows year round use 👍🏻🇬🇧

Even if a campervan has been professionally converted and dvla say it’s a campervan on the log book , will it still be a N1 and classed as commercial because the chassis number hasn’t been changed or will it be M1 and classed for domestic use ?

Biggest reason why I'd buy a campervan like this.... like I said below, I am moving to Scotland in 2 to 3 years so something like this would be ideal.

I live in Scotland and bought a Autosleeper Topaz. Basically, its a vw transporter with a separate shower/toilet at the back. Has warm air heating, 3 way fridge, hob, grill, hot water, etc. They also have a fibre glass raised roof that means you can walk around without feeling you are going to hit your head. I think they stopped making them around 2017, so are obviously a bit older but for me, they have many benefits for day to day living,( over the pop tops with a porta potty). Pays your money you make your choice though.

Great team work guys , turning the front seats every time would put me off , unless I had a young handsome strong man to do it for me. , 🤣 and no toilet or shower puts me off. , nice van though 👍

Why should you not buy a campervan. Price per sq foot. You can not swing a hamster . Accordibg to Jason you have to pull a trailer just to carry outside table and chairs. Can not take much with you without having to keep moving it about You still have to run over to toilet if one near or bushes in the night. Not to mention that front seat operation , looked a right hastle . Camping gaz is the most expensive gas in the world . ( you would not use that much in this van as it happens.). Finally I can not agree wuth the multi use thing. These things are too exspensive to put loads of miles on and also risk getting damaged with extra use just to use as a car. Just run a £4k car also . keep the van low milage and it will be worth a lot more than what the car cost when you sell it . Colour was nice and is better than a tent .

@@TheMotorhomeMan Very true It is just my opinion These must work for alot of people due to how many on the road . We had to change fron a 6.5m panel van coversion to a low profile motorhome due to feeling confined and lack of storage ..
