I bought a 2012 Nightster today from local Harley dealer. Mini apes and new grips, adding quick detach windshield crash bar sissy bar and pad and passenger pegs. First bike. 6’1 and 290lbs but it feels awesome when sitting. Mid controls but that’s what I prefer for now haven’t tried forward yet. Can’t wait for it to arrive!!!
I finally rode my 07 nightser. Its actually my first bike and I had to wait to pass the msf brc . And it's a fun bike. Gonna put fwd controls on it but other wise, I'm totally in love with the bike
Its basically a two day class and and you walk away from the class with a little business card deal saying you meet qualifying standards for Washington state. Then you walk into the dmv and get your endorsement I think I subbed on your first nightster video a couple weeks back. Pretty soon I might start making some vids on mine.
Looking at an 07 nightster for my first bike not sure if I should jump on it , heres some details i need your help!! Im 6,2 btw 18” apes Vance and Hines short shot exhaust Barnett extra plate Kevlar clutch Roland sands air cleaner Forward controls Harley HID head light Roland sands seat Crash cage Highway pegs Harley grips Electra glide air shocks Vance and Hines fuel pack Steering stabilizer 38,000 miles
07 nightster is great. For 6'2 those 18" apes will help out a lot. That is also a lot of mods down to the Barnett clutch will help move your size and weight along. Just make sure it runs well as low rpm cruising like through town make sure it doesn't hesitate or buck at a cruising speed. My 07 did forums blamed it on epa stuff. Other then that sounds perfect if it isnt enough or to nimble under you go to a bigger motor bigger chasis aka street glide fat boy rocker c softtails deuces ect
I also actually have videos up of that 07 nightster plus screaming eagle tuning video trying to get that buck and hesitate out. Never did but sold bike
@@andersongaming8631 half tempted to say I'd sell them to you because it is getting turbo charged we just dropped a few videos on it. And I want smaller mini apes more manable for the power
