Why Skid Row won't reunite with Sebastian Bach, Scotti Hill explains | AFD CLIPS 

At this point I’ve accepted there will never be any sort of reunion with Bach. The only thing I would like to see is anniversary deluxe editions of each of their albums they released with Bach and/or some sort of limited edition Box Set with unreleased material, demos, live material of stuff that was done when Bach was in the band.

I love Bachs response, posting a picture of him in the room with Scotti both with big smiles. There's issues, and it's not all Sebastian. Probably the issue is that if Sebastian was in the band again they couldn't call all the shots, compared to a relatively unknown singer like Erik or whoever else they hire next. Sebastian knows he is a difference maker in that band and I don't think they like sharing the steering wheel

To me, a band is a type of democracy in some sorts. They should not cave or fall into peer pressure by die hard Skid Row if their hearts aren’t in it and if they know it’ll just create a whole series of on going issues for their foreseeable future. Sounds like the chance of them getting back together with Bach is just as good as Rob Zombie reuniting White Zombie 🙃 The way I see it, good on them for still kicking ass and packing concert venues to this day!

just goes to show 2 things, one some people get old, others don't, and two you got to learn to agree to disagree. if he ever feels comfortable talking about why he doesn't like Sebastian other than he's constantly rock and roll i hope i remember to care.

Scotty's solos on Slave To The Grind were awesome unfortunately that was the last great thing they did

I appreciate you not shying away from tough questions! And Scotti said some complimentary things about Bach as a performer. If someone forces Scotti, Dave, and Rachel to explain in detail their issues with Bach, there will still be people saying, "Come on, set aside your differences and reunite for the fans!" How much business a reunited Skid Row would do (and I'm not forgetting Rob Affuso 🤣) is a separate topic that could be debated to no end as well!

It's sad that he has this attitude. Life only last so long and maybe you need to be a bigger person and put aside your differences. Grow up!

well maybe, THEY SHOULD TALK ABOUT "those many things", instead of being tight lipped. seems like they prefer to carry that rock rather than talk about it. Forget a reunion, get in the same room - all 5 of you, hire a few cameras and a psychologist. Record the session. Spill it all out. If by the end of the session everyone feels the same, and nothing has changed, then its done, forever. At least everyone would sleep at ease and stop asking questions. Create a show out of it, forget the touring or writing new music. Start with a simple room conversation with a mediator and "on record". Release the footage, as well. That's marketing. And if it works, that's triple marketing!

Scotti Hill is one of my favourite all time guitarists! What he did with Skid Rows first two albums is insane! Sebastian Bach is one of the best vocalists of all time, and it's such a shame that they can't get by their differences......but in the end, Hill is 100% correct. If you can't work together because of how toxic it is, then you shouldn't.........lol.....Bach is from my home town in Canada.....Love them both!

This whole thing is so much like the Van Halen story. So the lead singer is hyperactive and "out there"... has ADHD basically. BUT even though he's a huge part of the reason that you made it so big...he's that painful to be around that you absolutely refuse to try? Even after over 20 years and everyone is older, got kids etc... I dunno man I think they should just hang out together a few times and see how that goes. At least give it a shot at seeing if you could be friends again. Van Halen did get back together just for the money but I believe Skid Row could do it coz they found that vibe that got em there in the first place, but now with far less substance abuse etc.🤣 First time I saw them was May 12 1990 at festival hall Melbourne Australia. I'd love to see em back together... I bet Doc McGhee would too. Why didn't you ask him what Sebastian did that was so unforgivable? That would be the correct question to ask don't ya reckon?

If SR had any other singer besides Bas, I'm positive they would not have had the success they had. Also, SR doesn't need the money because of what i just said. Its nice to have FU money, thanks to you know who...

I tend to think it must really be a miserable experience for them all to work together because I'm pretty sure they could have gone on tour with Guns N Roses and then been on some of these big stadium tours had they been able to work it out and they would have made a lot of money. So it must be pretty bad. They seem to have a good deal going now so why rock the boat

Well, have fun jumping from singer to singer and releasing mediocre albums no one will listen to. In fact, call the band something else at this point. Sebastian was Skid Row and still is.

Sebastian is doing his own thing and his new music is great. One thing about SR is why do they go thru so many singers? Makes you wonder. People grow up why don't you at least sit down and talk to each other
