It did, but hats off to Misha for being patient and not letting that affect his driving, he didn't try to force an overtake which would potentially be dangerous.
"When you're convinced that you're pushing your car to the limit only to find that you're causing traffic" - basically 100% of motorbikes on the ring. They think they are fast, so they never check their mirrors and just cause huge tailbacks with their arrogant driving
@MiroslavKonstak if it was 8 o clock news or some high production value yes. However, this is imo totally ok, dude was super stoked and I'd rather have that instead of someone DM'ing me in my free time with a pic of me they took from a distance saying "hi, seen you today, but you looked busy and didn't want to disturb you". Where I'm completely alone on their pic busy doing nothing. And now they are disturbing be in my "free time".
Can we just give a round of applause for the Green M3 sticking to the 570S' rear end like glue for the majority of this video? If the 720 pulled to the side, the 570S and the M3 could have had a good little "tussle"...
Not really, the 570 would have left the e46 after 1 straight. the e46 would likely have had problems with the 720s though, due to how much fatser it would have been on the strights and faster corners
He was only keeping up because of the selfish driver in front of Misha who wouldn't move. The guy was clearly struggling to keep the car from wobbling at high speed. He should of moved and slowed down. It's usually selfish drivers like this who get into accidents or cause an accident. I was almost a victim of an idiot of this who wouldn't move for me on my motorbike. The idiot lifted trying to be faster and spun out. I could of died if my bike had shit brakes. Thank fuck for modern bike abs.
I beg to differ, its the 720s up front why it looked that way. Once there is a straight , and Misha and the 720s let loose it was bye M3. Mind you this proves that driver makes a big difference. 720s too timid approaching and into corners. Heck, I found myself yelling "PULL OVER PUL OVER!!!"...lol
@@Bonk997 he wasn't enabling Misha to overtake at any point either though. It's bad track etiquette playing road block in the corners no matter how hard you are pushing.
I'd like to be in the pub listening to the E46 driver share this legendary tale of how they managed to keep up with a pair of McLarens. "Dude, I almost had you!" - FF
Misha i want to tell you this I'm disabled man coz of u I downloaded iracing Nürburgring its simulator if you don't know and I'm doing it 7:23 on gt4 Mercedes and I learned the track from you !!!! its not the best and the fastest but I'm glad that I'm enjoying after much surgery's , thank you man
There is a awesome Misha video with shmee in the sub-7 Up with a few instructions of the track (from a few years ago!) I used it to improve my low sim habilities! hahaha
the guy in the 720s makes it so frustrating to watch (dont be like this guy). props to you misha for keeping your cool and big shoutout to the e46 m3 for pushing the limits.
Pausing at 08:30, one can clearly see that it's an older chap, so that explains the ego of not moving to the right and him being all over the place because you can't let the "small 570S" overtake you. Anyway, awesome video as always Misha 🥳
The restraint the vast majority of drivers at the Ring, at least from what I've seen through videos over the years, is very commendable. But I despise inconsiderate drivers and it might be the American in me but I know many people here would've said something to that old man in the 720s.
Damn you could always see the E46 in the mirror.. Not bad - even though it was quite a traffic round and you couldn’t reach full potential of the McLaren
I sometimes feel like there's an anti-proportional correlation between engine power and driver skill. Or maybe it's between car price and track etiquette. I don't think I would've have been able to resist the urge to flash him every single braking zone myself.. Good self-control staying calm and chill, Misha!
Thank you again for the rear camera view! and love the new integration of merging in the speedo to the top corner of the screen which takes up much less space.
I actually think it's because he thought his 720 was on the limit and thought the same about the cars behind him, and he probably thought he was even a bit quicker because of the better acceleration when he'd finally get on the power. I'm not giving him an excuse, his track etiquette is as bad as his driving capabilities. Surely if he thought he was taking it easy because he was unfamiliar with the track he would've let them pass.
@@lumntoob999I met this guy every time I was on ring. It is just his driving style there, I would say he is driving pretty good considering his age (he looks 70 year old) but ye his blocking was frustrating when we met him during lap 😅
@@lumntoob999 only has better acceleration because he is overbraking a lot and losing momentum. Cars behind don’t have as much power to use as a crutch so the gap gets a little bigger until he overbrakes again.
It was an awesome experience and Misha is an awesome driver. It was a shame at the time the 720s didn’t pull over but it was nice to see its tail working and makes you appreciate how much of a good driver Misha is. I would love to do it again to have a clean lap to see how much different the car would be 😊
I got to drive a 570s on a small airstrip during a driving experience and I absolutely second how terrifyingly light the backend was. I wasn't even braking super hard and the car goes all over the place under braking, even in a straight line. Because of the conditions, it was pretty fun, but it would be super scary on the road and especially on a proper track!
its not that bad at All anymore but you get an a+ for exaggeration . i have owned one with over 750+ hp for A year or more and lost the rear end only once and it was for a very brief second.
Go there Ashley, it would be a great crossover video 😅 it would be interesting to see if there's any transferrable skills that we see Misha using on TF days that we can put to use on normal roads at normal speeds, and it'd be interesting to see your face as a passenger when Misha's driving 😅
Thing is, the 720S driver isn't actually bad, he's just not nearly as good as Misha. There's always a bigger fish and he needs a touch of humility to accept that he should let other cars go past.
"I didn't pay half a million to get overtaken by a slower car" is what it feels like to me. I really want that driver to fail to keep up with a pack of modified sh!tboxes to really rub it in.
@@dgukov I try to be positive here. But at least he did not risk his own and others life to show he is faster. I hate when I am much faster than Porsche, BMW and heavily modified megane drives and they do not let me go, instead they push harder to risk their life, my life, my son’s life and the cars just to stay front of me. In such situations I use my flash or indicator, if not working I slow down and let them go. It is not a race of my life situation…
What amazes me about these videos is the crazy small margin for error when passing and hoping the guy on the right sees you and doesn’t do anything unpredictable. It’s bad enough passing someone on a regular freeway these days.
I think he thought he wasn’t causing a traffic jam but they were just trying to keep up with him. You can see how he shoots off at the exit of some turns, I think that’s his argument for his denial 😊
Everyone in the comments blasting this person in the 720s needs to chill out, it's a public session so public road rules apply. If anything I'd say he did pretty well considering the fact that he is probably in his 50s-60's from that shot at 8:30
lol was NOT expecting that 720s to be driven by two 80 year old men in baseball caps, but it makes sense why they wouldn't pull over now. 8:30 Great thumbnail for the movie Grumpy Old Men 3.
Hey Misha, now that I've watched this video, I understand what you meant when I asked you how was 570s lap for you ... Regardless of traffic, great to see little McLaren doing 252km/h before first breaking 🥳
You gout it figured out drive nice cars for other people just for fun! Having a blast doing what you love and meeting people and sharing the experience all a while creating a name for yourself I think it’s absolutely incredible I wish I could drive just one of these cars on the ring! Good for you stay safe stay humble!
now that I think of this, why there isn't a game mode in any game like this? Touristenfahrten, where you pick whatever the car you want and you just drive with random AI in random cars through nurburging, I would pay a lot for that! :D Beside that, great video Misha as always :)
People who dont make place for faster cars have no place on the ring tbh. I see it all the time with guys who bought "expensive" cars and think that they now are never to be overtaken, even though they dont know the track and cant drive their cars on 100%.
@3:16 When you let Misha drive your car, take all the sh*t that is going to go flying and secure it! lol Because guess what? Sh*t is going to go flying.
720S would have saved himself so much embarrassment by letting both Misha and the E46 pass. Now he’s on the internet as THAT guy with the big ego that tried his best, but couldn’t gap a 20 year old 3 Series in his big 720hp supercar. Well done mate 😂
I can use my imagination what happened at Döttinger Höhe after video cutted to part after overtaking 720 😂😂 I'm shouldn't be suprised but damn that E46 is weapon 😍
watch last episodes' Kesselchen incident, that one takes the cake. A slow Peugeot 206 pulls right onto the racing line in a 1-line corner when Misha was coming in hot.. Mirrors and egos, people. Keep both of them in check.
@@Reecepieces5 Yeah I get what you're saying. He's robbing everybody behind him of all the momentum they'd need to overtake and then pulls away on power again. Literally the worst combination to follow, almost feels like brake-checking.
I only can experience those cars in the simulation Assetto Corsa in VR with wheel, shifter, pedals, but on a daily basis. What i can feel and what i think is, the 570s and also the MP4-12c are designed with a loose rear in mind to have some more fun, when you go into corners. Of course you have a trade off and you have to keep that in mind, when you want to change lanes at high speeds and or have elevation changes. For people who like a bit more tail happy cars, these are beautiful fun machines.
As many people write, this yoyo is frustrating, to look at and I imagine at the wheel 😒 especially with this 540 formidable fast but to remain courteous we will say "regrettable situation "..we love " the jump"😢
Sad about the politics with the wing, as a Kiwi I apologise. A Kiwi response would of been well ill make my own out of number 8 wire if that's what it takes. ✌️❤🇳🇿
Looking at "the picture" at 8:30 > the driver is an old dude together with his wife enjoying his fast car... all of you saying "needs drivermod, or slower car" blabla.. this guy is just enjoying and tbh he wasn't that slow... its just that Misha and the M3 Ghostrider are really, really quick.
Brave man to own a McLaren. If I had boat loads of money I’d consider but I don’t, so I’ll stick with older Porsches, which are as reliable as Camrys by comparison.
The thumbnail for the video the dude in the E46 is uploading would be when he is just right behind both with title "Faster than a Mclaren 720s and a 570s in my E46 M3" 😂.....
