Why? The usual reasons, greed, envy, chasing movie/ other TV roles, egos clashing, personality clashes, getting tired of long workdays...a day that ends in "y"...
That would be because this channel doesn't get it right most of the time. It's still entertaining though. I spend most of my time laughing at alot of their mistakes.
When a contract is signed, the working conditions are stipulated. How many hours a day, for how long a year. I don't understand the complaints about the schedules, in general women feel overwhelmed by everything. As we can see, most of the problems they had.
These actors complain about their feelings being hurt or a sexual innuendo while making millions. Waaaaaaaaaaa! Whiney baby booby pee pee pants. Just do your job get paid and go home. Make the best of it. That is what we working people do.
Just because they don’t work in big movies doesn’t mean they aren’t stars. NCIS has been on for 18 seasons and counting give credit where credit is due my guy.
It just sucked after Ziva left, but then Tony?? Who wants to watch without them!? Nobody how much we love Mark Harmon! Then they hired these silly characters and the show just wasn’t good anymore. Tony and Ziva were that show!
@@jacquelineellis2469 I’ll admit that it took us a while to get LA it, too. But it turned out to be a damn good show. With the exception of killing off Dom. Especially since he had just actually become a special agent.
I don't understand what some of you are bitching about, the original NCIS is still a good show even after some character changes, actors, actresses leaving. The writers are still writing some good plot lines and story arcs, and the cast is still performing their best.
Me I’m an Abby fan. Give me a good solid father (Gibbs) daughter relationship any day .Cute and quirky!!… The day she left and the ‘woke’ actress replaced her was , in my opinion, the beginning of the real end for this great series.
Of course ... "racist, sexist, homophobic" ... and the ACCUSATION is all taken as TRUE ... WITHOUT EVIDENCE. In todays world these terms DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING ANYMORE.
I don't know about you, but I know many people who works beyond 20 years for the same company, i.e. the same coworkers - if there's not a great overturning staff, that is. I have a feeling more people would do it more often these days if companies work so douchebaggy.
I'm sure some of the Actors/Actresses left the show because they were burned out. Being a Cast member on a TV Series is a grind for a schedule. And the guys producing NCIS have a rep for running a little above average shooting schedule in terms of filming schedule. Then some leave to do new things. Then another reason is the Producers decide to eliminate a Cast member's character. Sometimes for business reasons. Sometimes because they are peeved at the Actor/Actress.
Jethro Gibbs is the ultimate ego maniac. He took down producer Don Belisario. Gibbs always goes insubordinate on every SECNAV - balls of steel! Gibbs even enjoyed locking horns with Director Vance at times. When you give an actor like Mark Harmon the reigns, it's always about him. Boss!....Gibbs, Gibbs, Gibbs, Gibbs, Gibbs....Let's be serious, if special agent Gibbs did any of those things against an active SECNAV, those actions would give him some serious brig time. I know, it's only a TV show. I think Mark Harmon in real life legally changed his name to Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
You said it yourself with your first line, "Like many other long-running television shows". Do you want to devote a large chunk of your life to playing someone else? You get typecast. It gets stale. People you love on the set you wind up hating. You move on to something fresh.
Are we going to see any more of the hacker that was in the trailer in season 9 episode18, and what about Mcgee's sister or Torres father from season 18.12. That was a great episode
Lmao at paulie....scared of mark seriously wtf. You attack him on social media I’m thinking he was more scared of her 🤦🏻♀️ as for the dog incident crew had been told NOT to touch t....again you get what you deserve 😂😂🤦🏻♀️
Sometimes actors leave shows for other roles but mostly they 'leave' because these shows are expensive to produce and to save money, they do not renew the contracts of characters they feel are expendable.
So, Sasha Alexander left because she couldn't deal with the work involved with an hour long drama series...then turned around and joined another hour long drama series for seven years, while also guest starring on a second show.....do you think maybe there was more to her exit from NCIS? Either that or she was just lying her ass off.
Or maybe she just didn't like being on the show. You don't need to be so rude when you don't know the truth of the situation. I'm glad she left. I enjoy watching her on Rizzoli & Isles.
Thank you NS channel!!! I was literally just wondering this as for first time streamed thru it and surprisingly large characters demise ♥️ TY for the upload
After watching NCIS:LA I found the original series lacking in imagination. The original series is based near the nations capital and it doesn't have half the technology available to the NCIS:LA crew and they never updated it. McGee getting punched out by girls is also inane.
Maybe those that trash the show should give all the money back they made. A year or so of not liking the atmosphere and bolting is understandable. Beyond that is nothing short of arrogant, weak and crying for attention. How about thanks for liking me in the part, all the notoriety and money I made and leave it at that? Popular actors and actresses take themselves far too seriously.
I remember the original NIS organization ... the REAL organization ... from my time in the Navy. They were true NAZIs who terrorized anybody they damned well pleased because, well ... they COULD. You had basically no rights as a sailor back in the 80s and 90s. If they wanted to railroad you to get you to testify against a fellow sailor, they just lied and threatened you with arrest and jail. So when the organization changed the name to NCIS ... and this television series came on, I had no desire to watch it and remember those jackbooted thugs and the way they treated sailors.
I wish they would quit killing off so many characters, just last night Fornells daughter dies from an overdose. If anyone from CBS reads this, please stop killing off characters, what are they going to do next, have Fornell commit suicide over the death of his daughter ?
i gave the noobs a shot, sadly they are not being given the best material. just glad s18ep7 'the first day' is following covid restriction guidelines. kinda sad maria bello is leaving, just when i am finally used to a counselor on the show [when initially i thought, what's a counselor like a deanna troi character doing on a show like ncis? but then i answered my own question when i asked the same thing when the deanna troi character proved herself being there on tng, simarly how Jack filled a void, the void ducky sorta left.]
1) Some actors are glad for a steady paycheck or a steady acting job. Do you know how few those are in the acting biz? 2) Actors want to stretch themselves and play other roles instead of being typecast. 3) Not all actors are fans of the show they work on. To them it can be just a job. 4) Some actors relish their roles, others not so much. 5) Fans love the familiar, but actors may tire of the familiar. 6) Certain actors find fame in a role and think that it is because of themselves, only to leave and find out it was their character that people liked. 7) Sometimes actors just don't get along.
Sean Murray is a great example of an actor not doing a damn thing after he settled into NCIS. I like him well enough but he’s a supporting role now acting as first string and he just doesn’t fill Tony’s shoes.
I believe the stuff about Harmon. I'm old enough to remember that he was supposed to be Hollywood's "darling boy" / new all-American leading man 30 years ago. For some reason, after a few movie roles, things cooled off for him - dramatically. Rather than become "Captain Hollywood," he's been married to this TV show for far too long.
I think Harmon is the primary reason the show has run so long. I think he does an excellent job in the show, and I will watch it as long as it is on the air.
