SAns have always been travellers, not migrating and the reason why they are not seen much in other countries is simply because they don't make a nuisence of their presence to their host countries and they are not the noisy type. Anyone that have lived in S.A. surely have noticed that they the quiet type. We are not the show offing kind by nature
As South Africans we REALLY need to travel within the continent... lets uplift each other and explore opportunities 🔥 - CAF Football is the one tool that will unite Africa and encourage us to travel
@@mrsoshadabaadman you have shit hole countries that you yourselves are running away from. What is diabolical is you swimming the Mediterranean to Europe instead of holding your government’s accountable. You are all here in SA fighting to be citizens, you even steal our identities because you are so lazy to fight for good governments in your own countries; now that is diabolical.
We pay 45% income tax to the South African government, and we rightly expect the government to use that money to take care of us, via grants to the poor, infrastructure, etc. Those expectations are well founded.
We travel my guy, but for leisure and experience. Most south africans go to bali, zanzibar, Mauritius, seychelles and mostly to southern african countries, specifically mozambique, eswatini, namibia, lesotho and botswana. Also she is correct, we have everything this side, so when we go out for these experiences, we look for things that are not in south africa. I think the main issue with africa is that they are not marketing themselves. Like if I put m travel hat on, which country besides the ones i mentioned would i go to here in africa and why? Ghana and kenya are the only ones that come to mind for me, the rest not really, and the only reason why ghana comes to mind is because of the festival they have that I would love to go to, which by the way last year was cancelled out of the blue cause there was a mini riot in another event a week before, which just deflated me from ever even planning to go to the country itself. So africa needs to market itself cause we do not immigrate we tour.
I think Ghana honestly is a place every South African must visit in West Africa. And Kenya, DRC and Ethiopia for East Africa. But this is just my humble opinion.
What is that based on? Can someone provide stats? Immigration is not traveling. Not going to west Africa does not equal not traveling. We do go to East africa and Southern africa because we enjoy those places. When people feel comfortable with a place, they will go there.
Up your game in questioning because it seems you are not sure of the question you are asking and that could mean because you did not do a good search. The Guest may be right that the attitude toward traveling is gradually changing amongst South Africans because now you can find them in Southeast Asia, Dubai, New Zealand, the USA, etc (by this I mean Black South Africans). I beg to differ, it is not true that there are beaches and parks in South Africa that make the majority of them (Black SAns) not want to travel. It boils down to their misdeeds toward other Black Africans preventing them from going to other Countries fearing for repraisal attacks. In fact, a Zulu girl once told me she's scared of traveling to Nigeria because they will cut her P#$#¥. Even me as a "kwerekwere " was advised by a Xhosa not to go KZN because they don't like others who are not their kinds. The other factor preventing South Africans from traveling is that they think they will die of hunger in other African countries. Someone once asked me if i had eaten chicken before coming to SA. Majority of Black South Africans don't like kwerekwere and this is something common, people are imbibe from infancy.
Indeed they are and such is what I offered. Subconsciously, you might have had a type/shade in mind because if that wasn't the case, then your question about why SAns don't travel much would be immaterial taking into account the fact that, majority of White SAns are well traveled compared with their Blacks counterparts. .@themashup233podcast
😂😂😂😂 what a load of rubbish bro. Weird because you've clearly been to SA. Have you met the majority of the people you speak of? Because a xhosa person or anybody else for that matter said something doesn't mean it is correct fam. Stop painting us with the same brush
