@@rigboy1234isn't it easier to modify sprites than models? I don't know anything about that kinda thing but that would make sense to me, unless these aren't technically 2D OR 3D... somehow
Adding skins to clash royale troops would be way to confusing trying to figure out which troop is which if you dont know the skins, as in brawl stars im often confused on what brawler im going against because of skins
"Star levels are useless things not worth grinding for." And ? WHo's actually out there grinding star levels..? It's a cool cosmetic thing you get over time by playing the game and getting it FOR FREE, it's like a way to say "oh i like this card, let me have a bit of sparkle to show my apprieciation" Also the argument that the star levels are p2w is dumb as making them do a purpose WOULD then make it a need to grind for and something supercell could abuse. Besides, a skin system would not only be annoying for f2p players, as it would probably cost gems or real monney with benefit only supercells and the one willing to pay. But it'd also confuse newer and players coming back, seeing a whole ass card they've never seen before before realizing "oh waits that's the ultra rare fucking mega knight skin that came out of this guy ass." Tho i do agree that the feature feels incomplete and underwhelming.

the real problem is that clash royale throops arent a 3d model, this mean that they would have to remodel all throops or make every skin frame by frame
The player doesn't grind specifically for these cpsmetics. It's a passive "grind" that happens by itself while you continue playing the game. They just reflect how long you've been playing the game😊
The main problem was Star Levels were hyped up too much. . . . . If this idea was hold back until last year/if Drew wasn't involved, Star Levels could had been a way to level up troops and make them look good.
Adding decent skins for troops in clash royale is not that simple,yeah maybe clash of clans have cool skins design for each troop level but that's different, anyways the star point aren't so problematic,they didn't have a very big role in the game tbh but they're still cool,adding some special effects or som would be cool but adding something that can change the gameplay is not a good thing
In a ideal world Supercell really make skins for CR and the progression becames 1000x better, but my theory is that even if they put skins in CR HARDLY they would give up on the P2W schemes (sorry for the english btw, im from Brazil and still learning) Great video bro as always
I think skins in this game are dumb cuz the main premise of some deck is hiding their win condition or even a support card and when you change the model of the troop, how can the other side know what you actually using
