Why Stranger Things Season 5 Writer Is Bringing Eddie Back! 

I can see Eddie coming back, but only in either a flashback or if Vecna tortures Dustin kinda like how he showed Billy to Max. Either way, no matter what they do, I hope they nail the ending

I still like the DND theory about Eddie becoming a character that Vecna uses and ultimately he ends up betraying Vecna. He'd still be dead but he comes back as the hero

Season 5 involves Time Travel. 11 attempts to stop Vecna by making psychic contact with a young Henry Creel in the past to prevent him from turning into Vecna. The crew use the upside down to time travel back in time to the events of the first season and Dustin recruits Eddie of the past to join the team.

I just think that after the first part of the season the dufers have seen that Eddie became an iconic carcter so they deleted the scene where is dead body return in the real world just in case were they want to return him in season 5. They put a lot of clues for his return but they're not talking about anymore but at first the last episode of the fourth season was 2h40 but finally it became 2h20, it means they deleted 20 minutes of scenes ! I think that in these scenes we were suposed to see the consequences of Eddie's death but after seeing the popularity of this caracter they just deleted in case if the want return him My theory And more is story arc isn't satisfying at all ! He defends a town that hated him, didn't do his graduation and we never sees a scene with him and his uncle, it's very weird that they killed a non-complete caracter...

I wish they'd tell us some hints about max..she has the most anticipation

Theory Dustin will be Vecna's Next Target because Vecna usually goes after people who go through Trauma and with Eddie dying in Dustin's arms Henderson will be dealing with Grief and loss in the final season after having a close friend of his brutally die in the Upside Down to save everyone including Dustin will for sure have an Affect on him going into the last season which could put his life in danger given Vecna's track record it makes us a little fearful for Dustin's future as he may have to Sacrifice Himself to save Steve because he doesn't want to lose another older male friend like he did with Eddie Dustin not Surviving will break us all we really hope it's not true but the dots are connecting a little too well. And also this is Keimond by the way just on my little sister's computer and i can't get a new one until Monday.

In my opinion, i think it depends on where a person bit the dust at. If they did in the right side up like Bob then they're truly gone but the upside down? Given that it's time manipulation and its a strange alternate dimension means there's a possibility that a person's end could be reversed. That's been my guess.

Guys, do not forget that we were promissed the timetravel jumps, or something like that, so I guess we might see Eddie in the past, while he was still alive. Since Duffer brothers said Eddie is dead, and its endgame, most likely all we can get is flashbacks, moreover the writer that wrights ST5 is working on "flight of icarus" that takes place just before the ST4 timeline, so I am pretty sure we will see Eddie before he died. Still very happy to see him though. One love Eddie Munson ❤

If Eddie does return as kas I think they would bring back elevens sister ,the one that casts illusions at this point no one except eleven knows about her so they can take vecna by surprise , I think that Eddie will become vecnas right hand man and Eddie will be under his control and vecna will give him a weapon that can kill eleven but because vecna took some of elevens powers it will work on vecna too so the sister will cast an illusion on vecna and make him think that Eddie is infront of him killing eleven when infact Eddie is behind vecna charging the weapon to kill vecna and while the weapon is charging vecna breaks free from the illusion and finds Eddie at this point Steve sacrifices himself to finnally kill vecna and free hawkins

Hey Michael Jae idk if ur gonna see this but I have a theory that I really want you to consider in stranger things. I never see people think about this for some reason but I think that will is going to have to die to destroy Vecna and the upside down as he has a part of Vecna inside him, he is a part of the hive mind, as long as that part of him lives, a part of the upside down lives. Just like how to destroy voldemort, they needed to destroy the horcrux inside of Harry. Also a side note, can someone explain to me why all the demogorgans died when the gate closed in s2 but in s3 when the gate closed they still had one just alive.

Eddie is dead, he will not come back as much as i would wish for it. Flashbacks are possible but we saw him bleed out. And it's not a good idea to bring him back now that we saw his dead body, how would his return work like this? And don't say "magic". Him coming back as a a zombie like UD entity is thinkable but if he does, it's not Eddie anymore, just a rotting corpse.

Eddie NEEDED to die honestly, he was a filler character for me, truly didn’t care for him when he died since he was a 1 season character and I didn’t have much emotional connection like the other characters . hopefully he doesn’t return fully as a character, but maybe a memory. I feel like they could open an Avenue for those who die to act out some kind of way on the other side (upside down). If this is a huge battle in S5 - the ending - than I feel like have this “army of the slain” would be epic and it would also allow Billy to explore the new side they showed the audience - having sacrificed himself during his death tapping into his unforeseen redeemable side. If Eddie and Billy could help do something in the upside down to help bring Vecna down it would be epic. Realistically… a psychic mentalist flew into another dimension and created that space why tf does it need to operate on our rules? Lol

I can see Eddie come back but in a vision like vecna possesses Dustin and right when Dustin's about to probably get killed by vecna he sees it in the distance or hears in the distance Eddie's voice and Eddie saying " fight for me Dustin fight for all of us" in the back shows Eddie and every single character that died in the show behind him.

They’re going back to season 1 dynamics for season 5. Like the original groups from season 1. Though they will bring Eddie back only for a cameo appearance like with Dustin dealing with the grief, Trauma similar to what Max having to deal with Billy’s death, and the trauma and loss that played a role in season 4, I can see Vecna threatening our characters like they did with Max beyond with grief, and so much more tragedy, though they won’t kill off our Hawkins heroes. Although we could see that happening in season 5 with our charcters dealing with all the grief and trauma and suffering they’ve endured the entire series, especially with Will since the start, he overcomes and gets his ultimate revenge alongside Eleven/El which is mostly endgame in the series

Yes he will return but not like Billy. I have a theory that somehow the weakened Vecna will use the dead body of Eddie to live. Remember that he was weakened after the strike and there was no body of him after the shootout. I think that's the reason why he's returning.
