You could've taken a slow walk using the Galata Bridge route and at the same time watch the Turks fishing with their catches. Beautiful sceneries along the way to Galata Tower and on to Taksim. If you walk on the right of the Bridge, you go to Karakoy and on to Galata Port. Every inch of Istanbul be it Asian or European side must be enjoyed by walking.
