Dravida means Tamil. 2000 years back there was no Telugu, Kannada. 700 years back there was no Malayalam. It was completely a Tamil country.

I wonder why the term South India is used at all. It was known for long as the Deccan, even in the time of the celebrated Moghuls. I used to wonder while reading the newspaper Deccan Herald in Bangalore where I grew up. The term Deccan gives a better identity for the whole region without splitting India into South and North. Great work sir. my polite opinion - Please elaborate about the term 'dravidian' There is no such thing as dravidian, it is 'tamil' It was Robert Caldwell's mistake to term the tamils as dravidians. Even in present times the politics of tamil nadu is tamils vs dravidians. Tamil is not a part of dravidian language group, tamil is the mother of dravidian language group.

Dravudian is not Tamils.Calling Tamil as dravidian is only to hide and destroy tamil culture .

5:26 It is PerumaaL- पॆरुमाळ्. Hindi should include ळ and teach them in school. Almost 70% of indian languages have this sound & a seperate letter. But instead, Hindi is trying hard to become like Urdu by incorporating Arabic & persian sounds. That is a shame.

Dravidam is a false theory , malayali Telugu Kannada people discussing that have came from Tamil so called the named Dravidian. Tamil is the mother of all languages. All people Sanskrit is the oldest language but Sanskrit is the north east Tamil it's also a daughter of Tamil.
