The only reason Inosuke survived the battle with the upper 6s is because he sensed Gyutaro right before he got stabbed. He says smn about how he can feel when theres movement around him sometime after the battle

Actually in the manga, (in specific in the Battle Giyuu and Tanjiro vs Akaza) it's explained Inosuke can feel the bad intentions all around him, even if you sneak up on him, if you have bad intentions, especially murder, he will know

Beast Breathing still ended up being a distant derivative of Wind Breathing (wind is a derivative of sun) even though Inosuke was not taught the discipline. But it is still impressive that he came up and taught himself Beast Breathing without proper training. So I don’t disagree that he’s a genius.

@@pkdonny1018 Sure Beast Breathing is similar in some ways to Wind Breathing, it isn't based on it. Hell Inosuke didn't even know about it or pratice Wind Breathing when he made Beast Breathing. Which makes him the 2nd known Demon Slayer who created a breathing style based on no other ones.

And I never mentioned anything about him using Wind Breathing as an inspiration for his breathing technique. I clearly stated that Inosuke was never taught the discipline of it. Yeah his beast breathing spatial awareness can track where Demons are. Like Akaza, Inosuke can sense exactly where an attack is coming from if he had his eyes closed. It makes dodging sneak attacks very easy.

I saw a vote thing on RU-vid after the swordsmith village arc ended about who would win in a battle between Kanao and Inosuke, and I thought about it for a minute and realized that it would actually be a tough choice to make considering how strong both of them are by the end. With her eyesight being able to perceive someone's actions almost exactly before they make them, and him being able to sense where any threat against his body will be made, deciding a victor would be very difficult.

The fact that all of them have unique abilities based on the 5 senses of the human body. Tanjiro uses the sense of smelling because he once lived in the mountains and used it as warnings. Zenitsu uses sense of hearing which he actually needs to rely on since he is asleep. Genya uses the sense of taste because his ability is based on consuming demons. Kanao uses the sense of sight which is because she is able to use an ability that boosts her eyesight to an amount where she can see even the fastest of attacks. And lastly, Inosuke uses sense of touch because as mentioned in the video he has the best tracking ability which would fit him cause he is a hunter.

I realized this as a manga reader and, actually, Tanjiro ancestor who was like a close friend of yoriichi had an incredible eyesight memories. It was like, everything he saw first through his eyes, he will immediately buried into his memory like nothing.
