Why tanx isn't Continuous on [0, pi/2] | Calculus 1 Exercises 

We discuss the continuity of tanx and see why tanx is not continuous on the closed interval [0,2pi] but is continuous on the half-closed interval [0,2pi). Since tanx=sinx/cosx and cosx=0 at pi/2, we see that tanx is undefined and has a vertical asymptote at x=pi/2. #calculus1 #apcalculus
