@@christiansoldier77Deebo's ability to contribute in the run game in terms of yards and TDs along with blocking makes him a little more valuable in a Shanahan offense agreed *BA is a good blocker too

Have you seen the yards after catch with Deebo. He is a beast. BA is good at running routes. But a healthy Deebo you’re getting a hybrid player that can beat several tackles and gain yards.

@@paulkacera2195 you have a problem with his 1200 yards and 12 TDs last season? Only 300 less yards than Brandon Aiyuk and more TDs. Not really sure what you’re struggling with here. Debo was only the second player in history to start out with 4,000 yards and 250 receptions in his first 4 seasons, and he missed almost an entire year. This is just a bad misinformed take.

@@paulkacera2195 he had 1200 rushing and receiving combined, and he had 12 touchdowns. That was missing three games. He’s almost impossible to tackle. He brings an energy that the other players feed off of. He’s the heart of this team. Warner is the soul. You can’t have one without the other.

#1 reason why San Fran won't sign Aiyuk - SALARY CAP. Brock Purdy is about to get paid after this season. Can't pay top of the market for a RB, 2 WR's, and 60+ million to a QB and remain competitive. It's just not possible

Purdy's extension won't kick in until the 2026 season and they have all kinds of cap room by then. They are fine on cap room. it's very possible.

@@maskcollector6949 Dude, he's making $15 million this year and then he's a free agent. He's never made more than $1.7m per year. Why not just make your $15m, have a big year and get your contract next year.

@@MarcoRizzolo Rookie contracts - If a player sits out on the last year of the deal, that year rolls over to the following season and they are back to square one. Also, he won't be a free agent because the 49ers have 2 franchise tags to use on him.

Lol it's not that hard, whether you agree or not, the argument is that Purdy is elevated by Aiyuk and other talents on the offense. So, replace Purdy, the argument goes, the system does fine, replace Aiyuk and everyone does worse, because he is part of the system that leads to that offenses success. Take it for what you will, but there's no hypocrisy in the argument

@@49ersSportsTalk Saying that it doesn't work with dudes that aren't even tolerable options for backups isn't a good counterpoint. Nobody is saying that Purdy wouldn't even be an okay backup on a different team. But if you put someone like Goff, Tua, or Murray, dudes that are good, not great, on the 49ers they would be better. Conversely if you replace Aiyuk with Pearsall or one of their back up WRs Purdy's production will drop. But if you disagree, feel free to watch what happens when the 49ers fail to sign Aiyuk and fall off a cliff lol

@@Zeffpenguinif that's true why did mina herself say before Brock the deep outside of the feild wasn't assessed with other qbs so if it's system why didn't other qbs access that area and it went to number1 in NFL with Brock .aiyuk was there before Brock so maybe it's not just the system and ypthis isn't a knock on aiyuk it's knock this idea Brock dosnt elevate the system or offence I'd ask when as niners offence ever been number one in passing and red zone? Answer is never before brock

Great video! All of this is relevant I think is BA is getting open cause he doesn’t get doubled as the team has so many big time weapons. He isn’t even there #1 threat CMC is, a large part of his efficiency is from that & how well Kyle schemes plays + how accurate his quarterback is! Brock was the most accurate passer & tight window thrower. BA is an elite talent but his production would not be the same on another team. If his production got better on another team that team would suffer from hyper targeting him. Niners are saying hey we want to win championships & BA is saying I don’t care about that I want the money. I think both sides feel put off cause there priorities are not aligned. Niners are being fair. Personally I think BA will extend his career with that balanced system & compete for championships. Which means he will make way more money in the long run. Also no one’s talks about how the niners are one of the largest market teams so he’s gonna make a lot of money off of sponsorships & other side deals. 26-27 million is a lot of money especially if they guarantee a lot of it. There’s a reason he was ranked #10 WR. He’s not better then Devante, Amon, JJ, Chase or hill so why should be make more. I mean the niners drafted him & cultivated him into the stud he is that has to mean something too + trying extend him early. BA is being a Diva right now & he really doesn’t have leverage they can scuttle him for 3 years. If he turns to poison sure they might trade him but it will stain his career & shorten it once the media turns on him & he turns more pumpkin in a lesser offense 🤷🏽‍♂️

Here is the truth about Aiyuk. He was 7th in the league in receiving yards on an offense that ranked 27th in total plays and ranked 32(dead last) in passes attempted. People who say being on a super team is what made him. Again.... dead last in pass attempts and he SHARED the wealth with Deebo, Kittle and CMC. Yes, the Niners need to find a way to make this happen and sign him to a good deal.

I think the 49ers are willing to pay him what he's worth to the 49ers, which is lower than what he could earn on the open market (but still pretty close) if a team lacking offensive weapons thought they could use him like Justin Jefferson. If Aiyuk insists on more, then trade him. You've got a locker room where your most important offensive weapon - Purdy - is being paid in food stamps, CMC and Deebo both making around 20, Kittle 13 and Juszczyk 5. I hope the 49ers hold out, because my gut is telling me that Aiyuk is not worth more than 30 mill a year to this squad, and what's worse is he's acting the diva about it. The value of the WR position across the league imho is currently inflated; there is plenty of talent that can fill Aiyuk's shoes.

All-purpose yards (receiving and rushing) *regular season Deebo- 5,129 yards 38 tds BA-4048 yards 27 tds Deebo has produced 1081 yards and 11 tds more for the 49ers offense whose bread and butter is their run game compared to BA who rank 7th in yards for the season *which is phenomenal food for thought for ppl saying trade Deebo etc

Yeah, and how much of that was under Jimmy g vs Brock Purdy? Jimmy was a short route and check down king, which is why Deebo got the ball so much. Since Purdy has been starting, BA has been #1 option.

As a long time 49er fan he’s far from a drama king… that’s Deebos title. You can’t forget all the clutch plays that he has made and call him “drama king” when he wants a contract! That being said…. He’s just as valuable if not more than Deebo simply because he’s much more reliable as a WR. Brock Purdy will also need to be paid sooner rather than later… as a business strategy I would trade Deebo and keep BA or let him play out his contract … can’t keep everyone. Got to Prioritize.

@@dylanaustin5234 JJ =no playoffs , Jamar chase = where was he last year? Both are arguably top 10 WRs on teams that have 0 running game so passing is all they have. My point is not about being a top 10. Its simply the availability of BA and his production… Deebo ain’t a top 10 either that’s why I would rather trade Deebo and keep Aiyuk. If you’re a 49ers fan you would know that the offense is not known for large WR numbers but rather built for other schemes. San Francisco doesn’t go to Super bowls and NFC championships the past years based on top 10 WRs. Maybe to you he ain’t worth the money but to me he’s more valuable than Deebo right now. Just looking it at a different perspective.

@@dylanaustin5234he won’t take 26 a year because the market is 30 now. Niners COULD have done this last year at 24-26. They waited, and then market exploded. Now they’re trying to sign him at last years rates. Why would I cut a billionaire organization a deal? It’s not greedy to get what you’re worth. imagine being worth 100k a year. They paid the guy who shows up late occasionally, and doesn’t always work hard 98k. You’ve been a model employee, even when they publicly criticized you and put you in the dog house. You just kept increasing your performance like a good professional. The bosses best friend asked for a pay raise and gets it in 2 weeks, and he’s only been with the company for 1.5 years. Now you ask to get paid, because you’ve had amazingly high performance, and your boss is like, look, I know everyone in the industry who has your skill is making between 95-105k …but we’re hoping you’ll take 86k…I mean, you’re making 45 now…so don’t be greedy.
