Stelvio Owner from Europe similar spec, same engine, it's great to see content coming from the US, keep up with it! This is a highly underrated car, mostly because we've been brainwashed by German marketing for decades... I've been on the forums since this car came out and they are pretty much bullet proof. Most issues come from battery voltages, earlier models had some water infiltration that caused electric failures (fixed via recall in 2018). Mine required an oil top up after a series of strong pulls to 140mph. If needed, ensure you use the proper spec oil, always the same (oil is very important for this car) A few advices: - Don't touch the suspensions, Ferrari engineers have tuned them, it will be easy to fuck them up. - Get a 95ah AGM battery (most issues come with older, lower specs batteries - the car is sensitive to voltages - Get a 2020 Steering wheel, they are much better quality (the leather) and refreshes the car a lot (you can do the same for the gear knob, plug and play) - Get 20 inch wheels, they improve handling without sacrificing comfort too much (I recommend the forged Quadrifoglio wheels, they are lighter, strong and look amazing) - Change oil every 6k miles, this is the trick that will make sure your Multiair never dies (along with not pushing with a cold engine!) - You desperately need a new exhaust! I'm sure it's on the way... I've put a street legal Italian made Ragazzon on mine and it doesn't sound like a washing machine anymore - ZFs are reliable and Alfa (as well as other brands) don't train/equip their dealers to maintain it. Oil changes are required every roughly 50-60k miles, preventing wear and rough gear changes By the way, the platform is called "Giorgio" (italian for George), not Gregorio :D The Stelvio is more exclusive than the Tonale, which is an evolution of the Jeep Compass. The Stelvio is an evolution of the Giulia Quadrifoglio, which was the first model of the series (unlike some German brands, the Quadrifoglio version is not a tuned up base Stelvio, instead the base models are de-tuned Quadrifoglio versions. If you want to de-activate traction control, just disconnect the battery for a few seconds, the first re-start is without electronic controls Hey I know this car pretty well, feel free to ask for some advice! Cheers
Love how you say the Stelvio is at the perfect height, yet you might have some lowering springs for it lol I have seen a lowered Stelvio and damnnnn it looked goood! 👍👍
The 5 holes look soo good bro on the Stelvio! Glad your out there enjoying a family vacation. I agree with you that it should have had a different wheel at least some what different. I need a drone bro B roll
can't agreed more, I own Stelvio and a Cayenne but this Alfa offer the best driving pleasure than the German car, they are in another class, DON'T trust the press but take a ride we all know the Stelvio is miles better.
We have talked and you know I really want to get a Stelvio as well to go with our Giulia too. I love the look of the Stelvio and with everyone saying it doesn't drive like a SUV but feels like the Giulia is why I want one.
Try the veloce seats before, I'm pretty thin and found the side bolsters excessively intrusive (uncomfortable even at the widest open position)@@ModdedMotors
Hey guys, you should know I love your videos and everything you do…but I have to correct one little thing….😊 it is the “Giorgio Platform” (pronounced George-E-O)… Please don’t think I am being a d*ckhead or anything, just wanted to make you aware! Keep up the great work!!!
I have been looking for months to see what I want to replace my jeep Cherokee with. I’ve had a Durango and was thinking of getting another one. The sporty SUV area is so hard to find. Do you do any of your own maintenance?
I think this will be a nice change especially moving into the “sport” category. I do my own maintenance on certain thing, some things I take to the dealer. Pretty easy overall to work on
you'll be surprised how well it will handle soft offroad, check the comparison with the Macan on rollers... the only issue is the stiffness of the suspensions, doesn't allow much wheel travel@@ModdedMotors
it must suck when your wife wants to be in the videos ... but doesnt really add anything .... but when you're married you have to do what you have to do
Man you don’t comment anything positive and you’ll be block from the channel. I just want to make sure you see this response. These are real people you’re commenting to; and we see your responses. Instead of spreading negativity try be positive, especially since you’ve taken the time to watch a few of our videos. Krystal is the reason there’s even a RU-vid channel, and she could care less to be in the video. I have no idea what would make you think this was a “funny” or “helpful” comment but I hope you find some peace in your life.
100% apology !! The channel is fanstic, one of my favorite as a stelvio owner. Working with a partner I'm sure can be very rewarding. and fun. I guess I was refering to my experience of keeping work and personal seperated. But I'm sure its great for those that can make it work. For alpha owners this is the best channel anywhere ! @@ModdedMotors
