It’s 2024, the used car market here in the UK has taken the plunge! Meaning bad news for these who bought during the covid boom (like myself)
But this also means good news for those in the market for a car right now! Is it the perfect time to buy? And if so, it’s definitely worth considering the BMW M4 CS!
The BMW M4 CS is now at a very attractive price! But why have I decided to keep it over the new G80 M3 and G82 M4? Tune in to find out!
Exhaust has been modified by Tom Wrigley Performance with a single midpipe! This is mated to a M Performance Titanium back box. What do you guys think of the exhaust setup?
The suspension sits on H&R lowering springs with the addition of Millway Top Mounts which increases negative camber which aids better turn in. The car feels completely different with these modifications which I highly recommend!

Max. Please gods do not sell your 'Beautiful M4 CS! Incredible! And yes jaw-dropping in terms of looks and performance. Your M4 CS is already a classic! The only way is up in terms of value and simply driving pleasure. Absolutely 'love' your BMW M4 CS. It's in your DNA and a crucial part of the Channel and Driven + . Great insight and brutally honest as always. And again don't sell it!

Love my CS same colour San Marino blue, I upgraded the brakes from the standard ones to the M-Performance ones but used the steel discs instead as the ceramics chatter when cold & in the wet you don’t get that instant bite! Had my pals at DMS do there thing & came out with 580 BHP & 700 Newton metres of torque👌 I also have a matching M4 comp cab in the same colour with ivory leather, had the same map from the CS put into that….👊 Any CS owners out there fancy a meet up in spring as mines been sat in the garage all winter so she’ll need a run out🤔😂

I don’t think I will ever get rid of mines as well. Especially living in Orlando Florida you dont see them often, where as a g8x you see everywhere now a days 😂. I think this is one of bmw’s best cars ever made.

I had a 440 f32 then changed to a m4 comp 2019, had it in champagne quarts and everyone would always be looking at it, best car I owned

@@xTangomy 440 was on spacers and lowered and stage 1 , the m4 standard was far superior, I was in the mind frame there wouldn’t be much difference but there is😂 i sold it now as I diddnt drive it anymore and don’t need a car, but trust me, if you have the choice, go m4😂

Fantastic Car! Love yours in Blue. I got mine in LRG about a year ago, luckily with the CCBs. I got the Cup 2s on it and the traction is amazing if the asphalt has the right temperature. You will def do under 4. I will never sell mine since it is the most beautiful BMW in my eyes and one of the best looking road cars❤️

Got confused with the colour LRG, thinking the G stood for green. Lime rock grey. I'm seriously considering a CS as like you say a lot of car for the money. I think they look well in whatever colour, seem to be quite rare in black but with the E92 and subsequent coupes I think the beauty of the carbon roof is lost with black although I do think the CS looks well in black.

I totally agree with you, I will never sell my M4cs either. I initially followed the autotrader market for m4cs cars after buying it, then realised it really doesnt matter as its a keeper. I drove a G82 loaner which was great from light to light but honestly the driving experience was closer to an RS Audi than a M badge BMW (which may be a positive for some but not my cup of tea)

carbon brakes wont give you more braking power. but lap after lap this is when they shine. even on tracks many track veterns dont use them. and alot of people who order gt3s or gt3rs the first thing they do after getting it with ceramics is to replace the ceramics with steel.

One good thing about the ceramics is that they don't need to get changed for a long time. And even when the breaks are completely worn out if you accelerate 150mph+ and slam on the breaks as hard as possible it will allow for more time to pass before absolutely needing to change

i have a m2 comp and everything ur saying about the goods and the bads is basically identical: goods: brakes are insane exhaust is insane, great engine, tons of burbles handling is insane, like a go kart infotainment is perfect bads: takes 10 mins to warm up and the driving basically sucks until that point sounds very clunky all of the time, im always thinking my transmission will just fall out i dont have carbon ceramics, the brake dust is insane. literally 10 miles after a car wash and my wheels are covered.

It’s a lovely motor Max. I enjoyed that blast we had last year on sunset drive, behind you in the TTRS. Definitely do that again, although I don’t think I’ll keep up with you in a v8 m3! 😅

Good Video ! Also bought mine in 2022 at the exact same price ! Still love that platform ! Isn’t the exhaust very loud on cold start now with the single midpipe paired to the MPE ? I’ve removed secondary cats before paired with the MPE back box (never tried midpipe) and it was extremely loud and didn’t sound good. On your video it does actually sound very decent !

Yes it is loud on start up. These cars only either sound good with a single midpipe or equal length. I would recommend them to make your S55 sound better

Thanks for your reply 🙏 I already have an MPE V2 on the car (tried many many exhausts) and find it to be the best but sound is killed by the turbos and cats as soon as you apply full throttle ! Such a shame. I feared about the cold start indeed with that single midpipe. Will fit Akra Evo back into the car as despite being on the loud side I feel was the best compromise ! Just don’t like the look of the tips that much, much prefer the MPE look !

Out of the g80 m3/m4, the cs is definitely the one that tickles my fancy. However, I think they sound awful, especially when compared to m cars that came before it.
