Just an incredible experience gain for our squad. We are getting noticed globally. Here's hoping we can pull off a surprise and grab 3rd. So far they look great last hand full of matches, let's see how they do. Go Canada
I will agree to disagree; Canada started out playing really well and should have scored 1 or 2 goals in the 1st half (yet they fell asleep and let Argentina controll the match/flow of play). Both goals could have been either prevented or stopped by Canada's gk. Lucky for Canada there is a 3rd place match, otherwise they will have nothing left to play for.
I’ll see your watch since 2002 and raise you 1968. That year they played preparation games for a qualifier against Chile. I was 11 years old and watched from the side line at Griesbach Barracks Edmonton when they played my father’s team Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. The Patricia’s held them to a 2-2 draw. As that cigarette ad from the sixties said “you’ve come a long way, baby”.
canada was ass in group stages 1 gol against 2 teams with 10 players lol with a negative goal difference with the 2-0 vs argentuna, canada got lucky with it's group lol
Did they? Chile and Peru were ranked ahead of Canada and couldn't put a damn goal past them. Venezuela were lucky it went to penalties. Canada outplayed them in the first half, but missed an abundant of chances. If Canada can find a striker who can bury the chances, we'll be a squad to be reckon with. Even the best player in the world gave us praise. Yes Messi is the best. Sorry all you Ronaldo fans.
@@delby66 rankings don't mean anything mexico is higher than germany, you going to tell me mexico is better than germany? yes Chile and Peru couldn't put a damn goal past canada but canada only put one vs a 10 man peru and none vs a 10 man chile and i'm not a fan of messi or cr7 both corny
@@DmitriyK12 yeah but we were robbed by the refs several times like when the Canadian player punched a Chilean player or how Argentina didn't have a single foul somehow
@@BlazeProductions14 It's great that you're counting all the times that Chile were robbed, but if we're counting for Chile then we need to count all the times all the rest of the Copa America teams were robbed, including Canada. I will say this: the refs haven't been stellar in Copa America throughout the tournament.
@@BlazeProductions14 Cry me a river. The Canadians were robbed several times by the brutal refereeing on this side of the world. What about that headbutt in the Peru match. The brutal tactics of the South American players...and they get away with it so often. Disgusting!!!!
