To earn a like, a good step is to not getting the basics wrong. A battle taxi is something like the Pbv 302 or M113, meant to bring the troops around protected from small arms fire and artillery shrapnel but not expected to take active part in the fighting. Then came the BMP-1 and changed the whole doctrine (leading to the Pentagon Wars, as demands on a new vehicle changed rapidly). This is the infantry fighting vehicle, which isn't just to provide a protected ride but actively support the dismounted squad and conduct fighting without ever dismounting the troops as needed.

The cv90 has been combat proven in both Afghanistan with Swedish, Danish and Norwegian forces it was also used by Swedish forces in Liberia, so it was combat proven before it was sent to Ukraine.

Before Finland was a annexed by Russia in 1809 it was in fact a part of Sweden for 600 years so we have shared a border with them for a long time. We’ve been to war with them 15 times since the 14th century plus a couple more before that, we hate them with a passion 😂

Correction 1 - Sweden had about 650 Pbv 302(1965-2000) which was similar to M-113 but with a 20mm gun(nothing like a modern 20mm gun) Correction 2 - The CV90s that Sweden has sent to Ukraine are upgraded CV90Cs called CV90D and CV90E and they are similar to CV90 MkIIIs and are at the moment the most modern of the Swedsih army. No army has yet received delivery of CV90 MkIV but I believe Slovakia and Czech republic has ordered them

@samuelsmitz6410
@samuelsmitz6410 11 месяцев назад
it was seen as a tank destroyer by many but to sweden, it was used as a tank. Thus it was a tank. Since Sweden had no intention going on offensive operation, the tank was meant to be used in defence. But this was before stabilized turret and when its introductions took place, rendered the S-tank obsolete but still was a very capable tank@@BPo75

Sweden had a lot of 40 mm aa guns and 40 mm ammo that where kind of obsolete because of aa missiles. They actually evaluated 20 mm and 57 mm but settled for the 40 mm out of economic reasons

Wait, what?!? Sweden shares border with soviet union? I have to ask where is that border? What neighboring country of Sweden did the soviet union invade and take control over? And for your information we did have a armored personnel carrier, not a very good one (PBV 302). But never the less we had one based on an American one that was equally bad or worse.

Sweden did have an IFV before the 80's, the Pbv302, and the CV90 IS combat proven since 2004, in Liberia and Afghanistan, by several countries too (which are contradicted later at about 4:50 Its just lame to 'make' a video with material taken from other channels and at that give several incorrect facts. Big deal. It's a CV9040C with basically 90's tech, there is nothing new there for the russians, they just dont have the tech to copy it. Moreover, if the CV90 was thought to be invincible, we'd just given the Ukrainians 1 of them.

😆😅😂😂😂..We've seen how great it is for the so-called Armed Forces of Ukraine (which, if we're being honest and realistic, almost don't exist anymore...all equipment is from NATO, all operations are determined by NATO generals, all logistical support is provided by NATO troops. Then, haven't you noticed recently, whenever the Russians hit some secret underground headquarters in Ukraine, that suddenly, in various accidents, traffic jams, and similar accidents, the generals and colonels of NATO countries also die... Realistically, because the Russians liquidated them in Ukraine, but no one wants to admit it, that NATO has openly entered into this conflict!), especially when it was burning in piles of NATO military equipment on the steppes of Zaporozhye or when the Russians found it completely untouched on the battlefield more than once (since the Ukrainians ran away and left their equipment to the enemy!), and took it on their side..
