Took my 4th flight tonight. Paid $239 on prime day. Crashed twice trying to maneuver off & on my balcony. I'm OK going straight up 🤣🤣🤣Practicing in the day and night is my plan. Still nervous and scared a pterodactyl will swoop it or it'll fall out of the sky into a 10, 000 mile hole.🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant video and subscribed. Really wanted this mini 4K but wanted a drone to follow me for making music videos and think I’ll have to go with the Mini 4 Pro for the obstacle avoidance and follow features. Thank you for your channel. 👌
Hi everyone, I’m looking to buy my first drone and have two offers to consider: the DJI Mini 3 for 369 EUR or the new DJI Mini 4K for 299 EUR. What are your thoughts? Is it worth spending an extra 70 EUR for the DJI Mini 3? Thanks for your advice!
Great review. I've been looking at the neo, thinking it was a great little drone for what it does, but it doesn't have the mini 4K image quality or ability to fly for long enough. And as tempted as I am to get a mini 4K, I really would like the follow me and obstacle avoidance. So I suppose it soon becomes a DJI mini 3 or 4 pro scenario. Lol. Or do you think the mini 4k is good enough for the most part? Cheers,
On Prime Day, two weeks ago, both DJI and Potensic Mini 4K were sold for about 230€. So, yeah, they were hands down the best drones in the market for beginners. If you needed GPS tracking, Potensic was the way to go. Other than that, Mini 4K is the king of the entry level 3-axis drones. I wish it could have compatibility for Litchi (third party app that brings GPS tracking for some DJI drones), but oh well, DJI is just too lazy sometimes, so they haven't released the SE 2 and 4K SDKs. Mini 3 Pro wasn't the first to bring tracking and obstacle avoidance to DJI small drones, but really the first to bring back the DJI Spark capabilities, removed in the DJI Mavic Mini due to the 250 grams limit back then. They needed like four generations to fit the Spark features again in that weight. And Spark was only 50 grams more, but it is a big jump when it comes to these drones.
Yes it is. It’s a repackaged mini 2 tech in mini se body. Reviewers that get these things free from DJI are required to put these videos up and not mention these facts. However, that being the case…it still is a good done for beginners.
Thanks for a good and consice review, I think I'll have buy one now! Kind regards Terry. You're blessed with charm and beauty aswell so being a good reviewer.
Yeah you do. In the UK, you'll need both a Flyer ID (Free, lasts for 5 years) as well as an operator ID (about £11, lasts for 1 year). You'll need the operator ID since the drone has a camera, and all drones, even those under 250g, that have a camera require an operator ID.
Great vid I have just ordered one from amazon on offer for £209, I am new to drones so wanted something fairly cheap but also good quality, Your video really helped me out on choosing which one thankyou.
Thanks Tamara, I keep ‘hovering’ over a drone purchase and the mini 3 pro is a likely one because of its follow me and obstacle avoidance. They’re holding strong money on the used market too. Thanks Darren
We shoot with a lot of different DJI drones. The one caveat with the DJI MIni series is that it is VERY delicate (to hit weight marks the plastic is very thin.) That means it won't survive even the lightest mishap, where we've had Mavics hit every branch on the way down after hitting a tree and they're sometimes fine. The Mini in that scenario is guaranteed to land in 20 different pieces.
Mine hit a large tree, whereby I had to knock it down, thus causing it to fall down through 20 ft of branches only to roll down a small hill right under a house…..hardly a scratch on it and worked just fine afterward.
Hello and congratulations for the beautiful video! I would really like to know what the technique of varying the playback speed is called? and where can I find the "vrooom" sounds you apply above?
Hey 👋🏾 The speed variation technique is called a speed ramp, the beginning of this video explains how I do it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EUk3ZNpTLyI.htmlsi=eMfoaCrT7XJ3ka5X And for the sound effects, I get them from Motion Array geni.us/tEEoIY
Hi Tamara, Amazon currently selling this for £200. This would be my 1st ever drone, but would I need to register it and need any particular certificates to fly it. I would be using it in Spain but im unsure if their regulations are the same as UK. Many thanks.
@@TamaraGabrielUK do you use it with one of the Moment bags? What do you think of the system? I have the Brevite at the moment which I like but doesn’t have a removable module per se
I was using the Brevite Jumper backpack before this, which I loved, but I prefer the Moment Setup because this backpack that I now use partner.shopmoment.com/4PvWQ3 has loads of pockets and compartments and can fit the camera cubes in too. Plus it's weathersealed unlike the Brevite Jumper.
