Nice work dude 👍🏻 I feel like there's a lot you wanted to say about how the car makes you feel but couldn't put into words. It's definitely an emotional feeling thing than something you can describe. I get that about my little EK4, it's just a gem of a car. Have to agree with you on the looks side of things, Honda really made a good effort on their cars from 2001-2008 ish. The DC5 is the standout though...such beautiful looks and nothing short of perfect in Championship White. You've done well to earn yourself a car like this...don't scare us again by considering selling it!

Brilliant video adam. the DC5 is a good looking car. It really reminds me of the e46 m3 where you really need to punish it to get the best out of it. both cars haven't got any torque,but once you use those rev ranges the car comes alive and enjoyable yo drive. So in a way the DC5 is basically a M3 gahha

Had mine 5 years now and loved it. You were part of the reason I picked one along with seeing some at car meets. Considering a change now as have some money to burn but all the newer stuff doesn't quite cut it. Maybe go for a e90 M3 instead..

I just bought me a clean example of a DC5 special edition not even a type R and I really like the car. Going from DSG Golf R to a 5 speed manual gearbox is so nice. Yes the car lacks power but the driving experience is superb and I hope to keep the car to take out the K20A3 that is in it and replace it with the K24/K20a2 engine and 6 speed box in the future.

great video! considering getting one of these in a month or so, the only issue i've heard people consistently talk about is the rusting due to it being a jdm car, is there many things you can do to combat this reliably?

I heard your friend Rick has similar stories to those that you have that you couldn't tell. Maybe you could tell us what Rick did in his old Integra type R...

If you loved the oem steering wheel, you could have retrimmed it to oem spec - not too expensive and looks great.
