I like the wizards better just cause the copper color replacing the red. The copper is more subtle and it would just fit my liking better. True Blue 3s still fire tho

Wizards are better in terms of aesthetic. The copper highlights complements the blue better and gives a more subtle and more homogenous look overall, and the story behind them is great. Most who bought this only as a substitute for the true blues might regret it when Nike finally retros that colourway.

I personally only wear the colors that the great MJ wore!!!

Both are dope in their own right. One symbolizes Jordan as A Wizard with Jordan Branding being significant to him and where he is at his career.. The true blue 3 og is significant for being an OG release but Mike never actually wearing them on court … hence he had Nike Branding in the back. Interesting how folks want to act like the True Blue Wizard is not part of the True Blue Family (when it's been explicitly said these homages the v2 True Blues) when the v2 versions with the blue tongue are not identical to the OG True Blues. The same happened with the Electro Oranges & the ShatterBackBoard Family, prior to release we were told that they were part of the SBB, and because they were mixed feelings about the sneaker folks started acting like there's no correlation between the Electros and the SSBs but the Electros are practically the closest of all the sneakers in the SBB family because it's the easiest to custom into the SBBv1

I'm just waiting for JB/Nike to release all the other retros Jordan wore while he played for the Wizards. One things for sure a new pair of cool grey 11 & these bad boys as well is next on my list 🔥

I have them but the blue is more darker

the blue is lighter than the original. I also prefer the original TB’s with the Nike Air branding.

i copped these to add a pair of 3’s to the collection but personally didn’t like the 3’s model so returned them but otherwise this color way is a great choice

All the YT sneakerheads seem to be voting True Blues. I disagree, imo the Wizards are a better match with the copper/blue(slightly different blue). Like the matching blue tongue over the red tongue. Also they are a PE!!!….from 2001-2002.

The True blues are definitely better… I’d trade in my wizards for the true blues
