That looks great Paul, I imagine its the same engine I had in my 16 plate VW Polo GTI. It was a nippy little engine in that polo now sold but I do miss the performance. Not as refined as the Audi inside though. Look forward to the GTE video next week.
My Mk2 is amazing …I’m 46 been driving since I was 18… And the mk2 is a thing of beauty not a day goes by where I don’t look back for a second glance. I had to upgrade the concert bose stereo to wire free Apple car play, induction kit will prob go to stage 2 remap with uprated exhaust, Yea I get the “hairdresser” comments but when you say do u want to try it no one yet has taken up my offer. Future classic 100% it’s a drivers car not a journey bus. As for room in the back my Mrs says plenty of head room mind you she is 4”11 lol …… I won’t sell mine,
Great review. I bought my MK3 TT brand new in Oct 2015. Even now it feels special getting in to it, got a personal plate just to take the year if it. Floret silver it looks the business.
