Have to give Nick some credit. He came in, traded a QB, had to do lots of roster moves. He is the foundation that all this was built on. And of course the Panthers passing on CJ.
Good video but when the O line is brought up in the draft it lets me know you didn’t really research the team. The o line is ready to go just gotta get healthy
The Texans got to the divisional last season, with all the improvements I bet they’ll be in the afc championship as long as they aren’t facing the ravens I think they’ll beat the cheifs if the refs aren’t swifties
I guarantee you, if the Texans had lost the last game the year before and had that #1 over all pick, they would have taken YOUNG.. but the Texans needed a QB at pick #2, and CJ looked to be the best choice at that point in the minds of the Staff being they did take him #2.. Me, I wanted Stroud from the get go.. and having watched Stroud show up at the Panthers for a workout, I had thought they were going to take him.. Imagine how relieved I was when they took Young #1.. I am betting owners will never look at the Mental Evaluations again when it comes to scoring the abilities of a player to play and act instinctively. Anyway, CJ has been my guy for the Texans long before we even won that last game with the Miracle pass vs the Colts.. Where Nick Casario is concerned, he has made some good moves and some I would not have made.. when we picked at #3 and took Stingley, I would have taken a DE Thibodeaux, and at #12 instead of trading back for Green at OG, I would have taken DT Davis from UG. and instead of taking WR Metchie, I would have taken UG WR George Pickens.. who reminded me of a Texans WR we had recently gave away to the Cardinals.. DeAndre Hopkins.. and not sure why we would trade back this years draft and give up our pick at #23 for #42, but if I am the Texans with that pick if there is a top QB on the board named Bo Nix, I would be grabbing him as backup for CJ.. why waste a good pick for a backup QB? Because last year when CJ was hurt and out for a couple of games, what was sitting on the bench as backup was not worth having.. and we need to trade Davis Mills and get a solid backup at QB.. and one of two things will happen, either the level of play will be that of backup or it will be deserving of being a starter in the league.. if that is the case, you invested in a QB you can trade for more good draft capital, or you got a decent backup on a 4 year rookie deal.. one whom you can trust to come in and hold the fort if need be if CJ is out for any period of time again.. many will say, but if you have 2 QB's you have no QB.. Wrong, that is just bad math.. so far this off season, fairly good in bringing in some decent players.. I was hoping for the Texans to go get Noah Fant at TE.. but they seem happy with Schultz.. I just think Fant is a better athlete.. Now, we shall see what the Texans do this draft, lets see what they are up to..
Did I just hear that you want the Texans to pick up Xavier Worthy? He’s the exact same size as Tank Dell, two WR at 165lbs and under 6ft is one too many for me personally.
No I think we have the personnel to excel in this schedule. We will definitely know where we're at this year because we will be playing all the best teams
The Texans have gotten better period all the way around and some of those teams are not who they was last year an Thts why we sent all the money we have to do what others can do but better cause on paper the Texans got this but health will be the question if we healthy then we definitely have a chance to win the Super Bowl this year
