I always love the prequels no matter what. Even though Return Of The Jedi is my most favourite Star Wars film of all time and always will be, my second most favourite Star Wars film of all time is The Phantom Menace. The prequels were ahead of their time and they remain ahead of their time even today. They embraced topics like the Hegelian dialectic and false-flag attacks that continue to go over the heads of most people. I didn't hate the politics of the prequels as a kid, but I didn't understand it and therefore didn't care for it. Now that I'm much older and have more of an understanding of politics, I appreciate the politics a lot more. I love the fact that Star Wars has always been a story about two conflicts existing simultaneously, a political conflict between liberty (represented by an idealised version of the Republic) and tyranny (represented by the Empire) and a greater spiritual conflict between the Light Side of the Force (represented by the Jedi) and the Dark Side of the Force (represented by the Sith) with some overlap between the two conflicts. The prequels were also warning us of increasingly totalitarian governments in the future here in the real world and the very real possibility of people accepting those increasingly totalitarian governments 'with thunderous applause' (in the words of Padme). Like I said, the prequels were ahead of their time. They gave us a glimpse of OUR future.
Yes, this massage is further pushed and emphasised on how George Lucas made and designed the republic to be a form of western democracy with a similar governmental structure, the star wars prequels in my opinion can further be appreciated once someone really take time to understand the massages and politics of the trilogy rather than chasing some laughters over memes
I’ve been saying the prequels were brilliant for 20 years. Attack of the Clones is so easy to defend, it’s a near perfect film - the love story was handled perfectly (love the chemistry) the acting was great by all involved; the dialogue was not bad imho Yes, it has stylized acting and dialogue but fits well with the first three.
Absolutely agreed the star wars prequels were a fantastic tale people just scrape the surface and nit picked with their criticisms, especially the AOTC. The acting was great however the dialogues can be a little questionable at times imo. But hey the films by all accounts were amazing

The attack of the clones was a tragic story and was brutalised and nit picked with memes, the film honestly contained scenes that would cone to your mind when you think of star wars for example the battle of geonosis or the clones parade and also thanks man, thanks for your support I appreciate it
Good video especially considering the size of the channel. I think the most important point is the issue of expectations. I personally consider the original trilogy to be much worse than the prequels. The rhythm is very different, the original trilogy is an adventure story without much political and philosophical depth, directly in opposition to eps I, II and III. Most people went see ep I expecting more space adventure but the movie was a political drama with adventure elements. It's not a surprise people didn't like at the time.
Thanks man appreciate it, that is true people expected a more space adventure film rather than a political drama the prequels had its own theme and original ideas people failed to appreciate and criticise although I personally like the original trilogy better due to its own aspects I can tell where you are coming from.
