The more I watch of Ruggs, the more I see him as being the more complete that the Raiders could greatly benefit from. His awareness, his body control, and his hands are all pro-ready. Not to mention his blazing speed and good elusiveness will make him a huge matchup problem for the AFC West. I am knocking on some Wood for Mayock and Gruden to call his name at 12.
You called it, Henry Ruggs III was drafted at number 12 for the 2020 draft. I think a lot of Raiders fans were wanting CD lamb when all 3 top receivers were available. I think you gave compelling reasons for Ruggs III. His skills can improve and will give Carr someone to throw bombs to.
Why because he was fast? So was James Jett and how did that work for him? Ruggs stats, 98 catches for 1716 yards, and 24 touchdown in three years. Lamb’s stats are 173 catches for 3292 yards and 32 touchdowns. Lamb doesn’t get tackled, Ruggs goes down on first contact, usually, Lamb almost never gets tackled. There are videos of Lamb breaking lots of tackles. It took Jeudy and Ruggs, combined, to equal what one Ceedee Lamb did.
Juedy didn't start his freshman year but last 2 years # - Juedy; 145 rec,2478 yards 24 TDs. Lamb; 127 rec,2485 yards, 25 TDs. I do agree that if either is on board at 12 we take one of them. I prefer Juedy slightly but I am an Alabama fan. I would be happy with Ruggs at 19 if we go defence at 12 but you can't take Ruggs if Lamb or Juedy is still there. You'd think us Raider fans would have learned our lesson about drafting based on 40 times.
I remember when we had Jacoby Ford as our Deep threat guy. Jacoby was a freaking stud with not only that 4.2 Speed but he was our only productive WR and he was a beast at Returning Punts and Kick Offs until he got hurt...Jacoby Ford was the 1st Tyreek Hill and KC mocked us not us mocking them! Henry Ruggs I predict will have an even more productive career than Jacoby did though
Man I love your video’s I especially love the sounds you use they go perfect with your voice makes me feel like I’m 60’s/70’s back when the Raider were actually good love your work thanks for the content
I really want ruggs, but I still don't understand what the problem is with rico Gafford, he's shown that he can run routes and catch, he's a straight burner, so what is the problem?
IKR? That is something I been asking myself for a while now...why not use Gafford as a #2 and Speed Burner? Gafford is built and have same speed as JJ Nelson and JJ was supposed to be our #2 until he got hurt so I'm not understanding either bruh, its a mystery to me! Maybe Gruden doesn't know how to use him? Or maybe Gruden is saving him for this year?
@@fierceraider8851 someone said he has hands of stone but I don't agree with that. I've watched him not drop passes. Hopefully he will shine in training camp.
Been saying Ruggs is highly underrated and has all the skills kinda has the same criticism as another great baller named Randy Moss regarding his route running ( Ruggs is a better athlete). EOD Ruggs is right there with Lamb on my list #SpeedKills . I concur with Simmons comment. Really feeling Ruggs I am glad it was mentioned he isn’t just speed!!! My Boi will be Mossing people out of the gate with that explosiveness and stickem hands ! He is the 1 to wear 21 #JustWinBaby
Ruggs is the perfect type of receiver who would give Carr the confidence to throw the long ball. Carr is one of the most accurate Deep ball passers but hasn’t had a deep ball threat like Ruggs in awhile or ever. If the Raiders pass on Ruggs & the Broncos get him, it won’t be fun defending against Ruggs 2x for the next 5 years.
Love the vid but I still think Jeudy is our guy due to the fact that Carr Does better with route runners for example like when we had Crabtree and Cooper

I read that Ruggs dropped 4 passes last season Lamb dropped 5...so what's the truth my friend....your website is awesome....love your input...raider theme and music too
what if Jeudy is there? we will see what we do in f.a. if we load up on LB or get a wr in f.a., Ruggs should be there at 1.19 if we want a lb at 1.12 i like ruggs you make a great case for him,and i love the music..
From this video you believe Ruggs opened it up for Jerry Jeudy. 🤔 interesting indeed. I must look into this. Ruggs does have some flair to him. The man is fast as hell. I have not seen many human beings run that 💨 fast. Take off speed is absolutely insane. I just can’t quite get on board passing up Jerry Jeudy though just yet. Big receivers with the speed and route running ability Jerry has does not come around often.
The receiver with the best hands in this draft is Devin Duvernay at University of Texas. It pains me to say that as an Oklahoma fan, but that is a fact. He didn't drop a pass in his entire career at UT and had a huge number of passes thrown to him by mediocre QBs. Ruggs is great, but Duvernay has better hands.
Ruggs reminds me of James Jett, he's about the same height and size as #82 who played in the Infamous game called the "Tuck Rule"! The New England Snow Job is a better name
I was big on CeeDee Lamb getting picked by the Raiders but after this I have to agree. That speed would be a perfect addition to our WR group. Go Raiders!!!
Excellent film breakdown finally someone who gets it. Judy and Lamb are the type of receivers that will need 7-10 targets a game to be truly effective. Someone like Ruggs could provide those 2-4 BIG plays that win you a game because Jacobs, Waller, Williams, and Renfrow gotta EAT! I’d rather take the guy who comes from the same program as Josh Jacobs vs the Big 12 any day.
No, we need complete receivers, not track stars. How many track stars became busts have the Raiders drafted that were terrible in the NFL(looking at you Heyward Bey). Jerry Rice ran around a 4.7, 40 and he did alright(sarcasm if you can’t tell).
@@deacongowan117 That's real talk but he runs great routes as well. Good watch this video on RU-vid by this game name Carl (can't think of his last name now) his page is called 'Sliver and Black Presents' he gives his own opinion on the Raiders and players and he has one on Henry Ruggs. Check it out and let me know what you think after watching it
I’m with you raiders need that speedy wideout I’m all for Ruggs too. Great presentation of your videos love the way you break em down keep doin yo thang
Mayock does not need us arm chair GM’s. He lives it. These critics simply amaze me. After the first day of the draft all these people were saying we should have took CeeDee and we reached for Arnette. Arnette may have been the best CB in the draft. Let’s face it. There were no can’t miss great corners in 2020. Derek Stingley is probably the best CB in the nation, and he was a freshman. But Arnette is an in your face aggressive CB who can tackle. If you look at the Clemson/Ohio State game, Okudah was targeted more than Arnette was. It’s just that all the media hype was behind Okudah. That’s ok. Arnette is coming in with a chip on his shoulder.
@@KamuiCage Jacoby Ford was also a Great WR for us until he got hurt! Jacoby Ford had them wheels bruh 4.2 speedster with great hands, great heart, and great KR/PR capabilities...I miss Jacoby Ford man he lit it up!
I didn't want us to take a wr in the first round until I seen this video 🔥🔥 this dude would b perfect for us in our division!! Dealing w that quiefs offense n shit we gotta keep up!!
