From the camera angle it looks like the microphone is directly in front of your mouth, generally if you move it a little bit to the side and then angle it towards your mouth you might lose a little bit of the high end frequencies, you should have a little less siblings and less pops on the microphone if you move it off to the side. It could be the camera angle but it looks like it's directly right in front of your face so when you say a p sound the little burst of air is going to go directly into the front of the microphone

EQ sounds better its why I got myself a rode XLR audo interface so i can make it sound crystal clear dueing live streams.

I have a question, if you buy the podmic usb microphone, and you use the eq. For example, can you make calls on Discord while the microphone makes a nice sound while you have mixed the microphone?

Depends on the budget you have and current gear. If you don’t have an audio interface I’d recommend the PodMic USB.If you have an interface then I’d probably go OG PodMic because of the insane value at $90ish. Just keep in mind the OG podmic will need an audio interface.

I’m currently looking at either a Rode, HyperX or Elgato microphone for a podcast with the occasional gaming stream. Used to have a Blue Yeti which was great, but it was second hand and it no longer works due to a cable issue. Anyways yeah so looking for a mic in that 200- 300 dollar range

Elgato is great for the mixing options but I would say the quality of audio is a little worse than the Rode Pod Mics. Rode does have a software specifically for podcasting called Rode Connect which allows you to connect up to 4 microphones via usb and mix audio for a podcast. Throw in some good EQ and any option you listed should sound pretty good!

The podmic usb is fantastic I have one, but for gaming I would also look into the shure mv7 and the fifine am8 cause the podmic doesnt have a gain knob
