They are still quite different phones for a variety of reasons. I'm a S24 Ultra buyer but my wife for example, is a S24 Plus. They are not targeting the same buyer
I'm now on my second s24 ultra my first one took a violent ride on the roof of our car when we got gas and I was sleep deprived .. mag fit spigen tough armor case kept the phone in one piece but it was still smashed it got ran over in the slow lane of the interstate (i5) in California. Found it and have it stripped down the battery was fine only visible damage is a cable outside of the display and back glass
@daliciously the s24 ultra is basically meant to have all the premium specs and features. The base models are meant for people who don't care about those high-end things. Also the base model cameras and the ultra camera have noticeable difference with the ultra being a lot better.
I just got my plus yesterday. I went to collect the ultra. But upon viewing both. I settled for the plus. And I am happy! I don't care about the camera and the resolution! As such... I was more concerned about the weight! The plus can also be used single-handedly. And cheaper!!
The Plus has a higher pixel density than the Ultra this year. Be sure to adjust the screen resolution to QHD+. It's FHD+ out the box. Get that value! 💯
Well I've had the past couple ultras and I don't really use the pen but I like the cameras. I like the shape of the 24 ultra but I use a popsocket cuz that's a big phone but I love it this is the only year that I would have even considered a plus because of the specs
The S24 ultra has the better camera, but if you are willing to go used or refurbished I can reccomend the S23 ultra at least here in Europe for about 600 euros and it is almost the same camera. If you want the best phone for videos you should get the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max, but for still photos and basically everything else I reccomend S24 Ultra or S23 Ultra. Hope it helped❤
@@rc7042 well I have never used an iphone till now..I am using a 5 years old 190$ android vivo phone. But now I am thinking to switching into iPhone and thinking to buy either 15 pro max or 16 pro max. I have used an old samsung galaxy before but it was just okay . I am very confused now which phone should I go for..
@joeyjoey7972 Marginal is crazy, but there's this weird look the base models have that the ultra doesn't when it comes to the cameras. Like things are more grainy and dull. Especially, in low light, and it's mainly with selfies. I had both side by side and it's a noticeable thing, weird.
the main difference is the square screen, better cameras, S Pen, anti reflective screen, (Maybe Im missing something). I got the s24+ last month because all those things dont really matter to me. I prefer the round design of the s24+. And I always use a screen protector which would bring back reflections. Im in the USA though which comes with the snap 8gen3. If it had the exynos, i wouldve considered the s24 ultra
They are different phones, for different buyers. S24 Ultra is a peace of tech, giant phone with full high end specs... Designed for hard users and tech enthusiasts (like me)
What are you talking about? Did you check your Display settings? The default setting is the middle resolution, not the top. You can change it from FHD+ to QHD+, among other settings. Screen is sharp and brilliant.
S24 plus and Ultra cost about the same with discount for me, S24 base for $735, Ultra for $950. So much doubts between which size to get, any suggestion? I'm worried S24 coming with Exynos :(
@@陳漢典-v9m same… in my country S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 plus 128gb. cost exactly same money, because Ultra have discount. iPhone price always big. I need gift for my father birthday. I was thinking about S24+ but when I hold it in hands, somehow I don’t have “wow” effect… also I hate how Samsung made it with Exynos. Then I think Ultra is great, but heavy and bulky, I tried it in Store. I like quality iPhone more, I would get iPhone for myself. But father got used to android, so I’m in doubt to gift him 24 Ultra or iPhone 15 plus
Wrong. It's not. Why? Exynos vs. Snapdragon. Curved vs angled display. Antiglare display vs semi mirror on the ultra. I bought the small s22 and it turned to be a disaster because of visually unpleasant, poor performance and crippled battery. Never again exynos in a premium device. Lesson was learned.
Bro wh. Didn't you buy S23 instead of S22? It has a Snapdragon. Everyone knows, every reviewer said thats on Exynos the performance on S22 was garbage.
I would have got the + instead of the Ultra, but for my job, i need the extra screen real estate, and the S pen comes in quite handy. The + is a great phone though. If I were Samsung, id just eliminate the base model as it just seems redundant to make almost the same phone with a lesser battery
