Why the Seahawks could be underrated heading into 2024 season 

Seahawks are underrated every year. Not once has the NFL hyped us up.

I am optimistic. I think we will play better on the fact that we have different coaches. Rams and 49ers had Pete and company figured out.

If the hawks went 13 and 4 I wouldn't be that shocked, if we went 8 and 9 I wouldn't be shocked. Kind of odd feeling, but fresh

They’re are often underrated by most pundits

Theres enough here to be playoff contenders, but need more pass rush for the defense to be good enough to be super bowl contenders.

Without watching - of course it’s a coin flip. Lots of questions regarding the ability of players to fully comprehend and then execute the schemes on both sides of the ball well enough to avoid catastrophic mistakes. The idea that this happens all at once is ludicrous.

New coach will be very good in about 10 years. Just think, if Hawks had won a couple of more games last year, Pete would still be here.

As it always has been. The Seahawks are always looked past. This team is no different. The league does not do Seattle no favors. They actually go out of there way to hold them back. It doesn’t make $$ for Seattle to be better than SF. Underestimated and overlooked is normal for the Seahawks.

Been picking the 9ers to smoke everyone and get to the bowl almost 3 years in a row which sucked as a hawks fan, but I get the feeling that ship has sailed, and in this division how long can you keep putting up that type of fight only to be disappointed again? I think rams gonna be solid though, but 9ers might take step back big time

I think jalen already has more playoff wins than dak, i could be wrong, but dak shouldve had at least 2 nfc champ appearances and maybe a sb appearance with the teams he has had and yards he is capable of. Imho, dak is the best qb to not have an nfc champ appearance, at least. He and his teams tend to fade in the brightest spotlights, it seems. I really hope dak can get it done eventually, im not cowboys fan, but he seems like a good dude.

Hawks seem to be headed in the right direction. I'm pretty excited. I still have no idea why we haven't drafted a young QB for the future.

I don't think there is any way of really telling how things will play out this year. My guess is a slow start strong finish . Too much depends on how fast the players pick up on the new systems. It remains to be seen if Grubbs system will work at the Nfl Lvl. I am of the opinion the last few years are more the coordinators fault then anything so i personally think the team will perform at the talent lvl we have rather then underperforming like the last few years.

Hawks schedule is fairly easy but they will go 2-4 in the division at best 3-3. 6-7 wins in none division games (2 and 2 in north) (2 to 3 wins vs weak AFC depending on the Jets) puts them @ 8-9 wins most likely, 10 tops...My best guess is they miss the playoffs at 9-8

Ratings now even before training camp is just fantasy football and most are going to lose.

They have to prove it the defense was trash

Until they prove otherwise, they're just another middling team stuck in a division where the Rams have had their number for a decade, and now they can't beat the 49ers either.

Underrated by who, the fans? I will be happy if they win 8 games, other teams have better talent.

We are always underrated. NEVER 👎 would we expect the Seahawks to get RESPECT. 🫡 the NFL has never 👎 treated the the Great NW team fairly. Even with one of the greatest defenses EVER. Possibly better than the 85 Bears! The LOB defense changed the game! We dominated the NFL for a sustained period and it will have to be respected by history! This year we have a new coach. Expectations are low from critics. However, we know something that they don’t. GENO is coming for his respect. 🫡 HE IS A TOP 10 QB. With protection he is better than top 10. He’s a pro bowl QB. Coach McDonald will definitely improve our defense. We have a young core. With the proper leadership and direction, this team could be special. It is gonna depend on the offensive line how good or bad we are this season. We feel good about this young offensive line. We added a few veterans and we are excited to see how they perform. IF we can out an offensive line out there that can perform at a high level. Meet the expectations out on them, then we are talking about night and day. We have the players on offense that could be dominant. This could be the best offense in the NFL. The defense could be even better. In realistic terms, we need one or two years to grow up into the juggernaut we believe we are. Players are just learning and sometimes it takes a few years for them to mature into a champion. Thats normal. As we mature you will see the potential of this team. As long as we spend wisely and continue to improve every year. This team will peak at tgexgg reg night time. IF all the stars ⭐️ align we just might break protocol. We could explode THIS YEAR! Both sides of the ball have the players to be good. Top 5. Let’s go!
