It's possible the Seahawks will win, but unlikely. The Cardinals are dead and the Rams, who knows, but I don't see a drop-off in the 49ers. Seattle will likely be battling for a wild card.

The only problem I see is the schedule is brutal playing the NFC East and the AFC North and the Lions. I predict a better team and the same record 9-8.

Barring several drastic injuries to several key personnel on the niners (Bosa, deebo, CMC, Purdy, Trent Williams, Warner, Hargraves) there’s very little chance any other NFC west team dethrones the niners.

The Seahawks are really close to becoming a dominant team. I’d say they are 2-3 key 🔑 players away from completely rag-dolling the league!! IF they can find a way to acquire DT Forrest Buckner, they will dominate their division and stomp on their opps! The key 🔑 now for Seattle is to add players that will compliment what they already have. JT is available and even though we are good at the RB positional group, adding a player of his caliber will only boost their offensive capabilities. I personally would like to see my Seahawks make an extraordinary move by making a package deal that will bring Buckner and Taylor to Seattle. To accomplish this they would have to give up some draft picks and players. BUT I believe they have the picks and players needed to make that a reality. Players would have to be included to make this deal work. The 1st thing Seattle would have to do is dangle a 1st round pick in front of the Colts, who are in the beginning stages of a rebuild. My proposed deal looks like this. We give the Colts what they want. We throw them a 2024 first round pick. We add another 2025 3rd round pick in the deal. Then….. we give them a few players that will make this deal a possibility. DJ Dallas to the Colts makes a ton of sense. Dissly has to be added to clear up the cap space we need to sign Buckner and Taylor to potentially 3-4 year deals. We would also have to add a few more players like offensive lineman, Brown, maybe give up a player like Vi Jones, Dee Eskeridge, Tre Brown and a few others that add up to enough money to sign our new players. Kinda trimming the roster at the same time of bad contracts and players that we don’t need. But in no way giving the Colts our important roster pieces. The Colts want picks so by dangling the high end picks they may be more likely to take the players we offer them to get those picks. It’s a scratch our back and we give you draft picks to rebuild and you give us a player that wants to leave and another player that doesn’t fit in your rebuilding process that well. The Colts can add depth while we get to add TWO pro-bowl caliber players to our roster while moving on from players we can afford to lose. Dissly would be missed. The other players I mentioned would be missed too but we have the depth in those positions to be able to recover well after losing them. Taylor is not a player I would want to move on from. He has proven to be a valuable pass rusher. Tre Brown is also a good player of ours. He will add depth to any secondary. Brown the offensive lineman would have to be added in so that the numbers make sense when we sign Buckner and Taylor. I’m thinking that IF we give up TWO 1st round picks the Colts will want to make this deal. JT and Buckner are worth giving up that much to acquire. We don’t need to worry because even if we used those picks we would not likely get a Buckner or a Taylor from them. So……. Give up the picks Seattle. Then dump some of the players we choose off on the Colts. That’s good business.

But I don’t understand why Seattle chose him with the 5th overall selection, only to be playing him at the nickel position? Y’all know that nickel only plays a certain amount of plays per game…? No, he should be lining up across from Riq, period! He should be a day 1 starter. Sauce Gardener was the 4th overall selection last year and was a week 1 starter and won OROY! Why pick a player at #5, only for him to play nickel…WTF! I definitely trust Pete, he’s probably the best HC that develops CB’s in the entire NFL! Hopefully they were just seeing how he played at Nickel? But why waste valuable reps at the CB position? I’d be shocked if when he comes back healthy, they continue playing him at nickel❗️😳🤷‍♂️.
