I have to admit that i've rewatched a lot of the among us videos. I agree we watch for the dynamics. its like following sports team. they play the same game every week but different things happen.
Simon’s right imo 3x a week would ruin sidemen among us, the content would get way too repetitive and everyone would just become pros at the game to the point where there aren’t any throws & the content is stale. It’s best the way they do it now, gives it longevity.
Honestly everyone watches it. Simon overthinking it. Doesn't need to have be different roles etc. the other games they play are just not interesting. It's not stale. they wouldn't limit waffle fries at sides because everyone loves them
Yeah, me and my wife have watched all the form the last year so we started watching it from the beginning now. We can even rewatch episodes, they are so funny man. The edits and everything is so well done
They would get burned out and the content would get sh*t. Everyone rewatches old ones so there’s no need to stress themselves out trying to up the frequency.
facts, its about the quality not quantity. less videos makes the players more engaged, the series is more valuable and the videos are rewatchable. they've just never uploaded an entire 1hr episode of a dead among us game, which they could easily do. its like taking a beautiful plate of dauphenoise potato, made to a perfect recipe by artisans, and flipping that into mass market waffle fries made by people who hate their life

Randy AND Simon are right. Definitely right now it doesn’t feel like it’s stale at all. But if the mood sours for EVERYBODY and they start pumping them out TOO often, it could get stale. But seriously, sidemen among us is the best series on RU-vid, Chipfat the goat
the fact is that the content creators are actors/performers and it gets stale for them, meaning they cannot give their best performance, and the whole content is devalued. they can't be funny or hype, they can't entertain. if you made an actor play the same role for years, you wouldn't enjoy their later performances.
especially because among us depends upon the players lying, or getting heated about something. if they don't care about the game, or they have no incentive to uphold the behavioural rules and performances, the content is just bad. every now and then you see one of the sidemen not caring like this and it just means there's no real content. if it got more stale, no one would care, and it would just be dead
tbf if the sidemen aren't feeling it then it is what it is, but really the among us (steam game) episodes are so jokes. Even the stinkers are jokes. No one else doing or having done among us videos even comes close. Its as much due to the sidemen as it is for chipfat. He's such a good editor and runs them perfectly. I'm pretty sure I mentioned this on the full podcast vod, but I'm on my 2nd or 3rd time going through the playlist and that's not counting all the times I watched them before I used the playlist. I'd rather rewatch an among us vod over an anime sometimes. If yall are up to play it then I think do it, but if not then don't. Don't want you to hate making content and all. But don't think the viewers aren't up for seeing it as a reason in itself not to do it though. Just thoughts from a random anyways.
Nah Simon is right. They can’t do 3 a week. The reason sidemen among us is still doing so well is BECAUSE You don’t give a lot of it. People will wait weeks and weeks for a new one. But if you pump them out 3x a week? Ppl will easily miss an episode…. Then one becomes two… then three…. Then they just stop getting it recommended all together.
Learning and doing the other maps would help with the feeling of it not feeling the same all the time. They've played Polus a hand full of times but the other ones maybe once or twice only. And when you play the newer maps the most going back to the original will feel amazing.
People don't realize that Simon gets something we don't see...if they don't change it up, then fans are going to get frustrated about how many among us videos there are, eventually and they won't enjoy playing it. We've seen this in old school sidemen when they were smaller when some fans were getting tired of gta videos or golf videos. He's afraid the same thing will happen with among us.
I hope Simon sees this, I have never found the videos stale, I watch 10 hour compilation videos and thoroughly enjoy rewatching clips from a range of different games. I would recommend re-introducing older roles and features that have been used before, I would appreciate seeing more videos using proximity chat or focusing on singular roles and seeing how the dynamic changes, I will literally watch these videos forever
Yeah i agree with the sentiment of "we should stop making every other video among us related" we only need Among Us, not hide n seek among us or whatever else. Just straight among us.
Sidemen among us is the best content the sidemen make other than Sundays I don’t care about the roles or which guests are there. Sucks y’all are getting tired of it cause the fans sure aren’t

Honestly, just make Sidemen Among Us once a week, like Sidemen Sunday, and make it a “thing” y’know. Saturdays are Sidemen Among Us episode days. Not all episodes are bangers or innovative, etc, it’s just, another instalment, an episode to watch. What, we’re not gonna watch it? And just, inside jokes will build, lore will be built, and the from that, fan campaigns can be made, etc, etc. And it’s just perfect, we don’t need it 3 times a week y’know. Make it once a week, a whole “thing”, the spectacle is that it’s “Sidemen Among Us day” (Saturday, whatever). Rather than it being about the roles or guests, etc. You don’t need features to make something special. Just giving the fans something to look forward to, THAT is the magic of it man. “OMG, it’s Sidemen Among Us day, I can’t wait!! 😆”.
I watch every Sidemen Among Us video immediately when it drops. Every time. It could be same roles. Different roles. Same people. Different people. Same map. Different map. It literally doesn't matter. They're just always so funny and so well-made by chipfat. I can't be bothered to watch another 2.5 hour cheap vs. expensive holiday video. Those are stale as fuck.
@@tylermalovich4875 Their average holiday travel video gets 8-9M views and I bet it costs them a fortune in travel, cameramen, hotels, arranging all the cars, boats, entertainment, etc. and takes multiple days to film. Their Among Us Videos get 6-7M views on their 2nd channel which has less than 9M subs, and all it costs them is a few hours of editing. And I bet they could record 4 weeks of videos in one session. From a strictly business perspective, if all they did was pump out 2 Among Us videos a week, I bet they could do 12M views per week and spend basically nothing compared to what it costs them to do a Sidemen Sunday travel video.
If you watch the full video they start talking about that canal boat video not doing well. They were on a boat for half a day and made a 2 hour vid…. Who can be bothered with that?! Also their core audience are gamers, so yeah Among Us W

Simon and the rest of sidemen need to realise how much Sidemen among us is loved by fans. I have watched all of them multiple times and I have even watched the compilations multiple times from multiple channels. They need to realise that its not just the game people are watching. Older fans such as myself watch it for the friendship they have with each other. It's like watching myself with my friends
some suggestions if you want to switch it up: no talking(obviously for content still commenting in game) everyone has the same outfit, more shape-shifting, more proximity chat, allow imposters to call each other irl, everyone inverted, only guests that drink (drink after every death/kill), everyone super speed, other map hide and seek, forfeits with whoever loses/dies, make a map with lots of hiding places, play with left hand only, use drunk glasses, whoever wins gets money, etc
No among us is not getting stale at all. This series could continue for years and years. Your guys dynamic and all the roles make everything perfect. Do not ever change it!!
I prefer the videos where you guys sit down and play trivia/game shows. Those types of videos are what got me into the sidemen to begin with. You guys talking and being best friends are what the viewers want. Among Us does well because of the banter with all of you guys. We want banter. Nothing crazy just you guys being you guys
I don't think it's stale at all. In my opinion, i think it's done up too much. I've been watching for years, I miss the old videos where there wasn't a lot of music, a lot of theatrics, just simple gameplay with proximity chat every now and again. But you guys gotta keep making videos, they are so fun to watch.
Tldr: add more crew roles, keep voting anonymous, keep guesser role on, cams only if your tasks are done, add more guests at a time to spice it up, maybe a different map As a big fan of sidemen among us I watch the videos religiously, more crew mate roles would help, people and guests probably get bored if they're just basic crew mate every game, as Harry's stated a few times before he loses his mind being crewmate all the time, adding jester always will make it fun, unless JJ gets it then it's just button pressing and screaming lol, the only issue is it's easy to clear with roles, so maybe have the guesser role on for imposters so they can guess/kill if people try to sweat and clear via roles, anonymous voting was also a good idea, makes it more random, having 1 mildly strong imposter role is good, like bomber or ninja, kinda a high risk imposter role but very good if played well, makes it abit easier for crewmates and abit more engaging as imposter, and more fun for the viewers, maybe add more odd guests, lazer deji jynxi was a good combo, same with lachy, more people in general would be good, maybe stop cams aswell (except for harry) or say only go on cams if your tasks are done as cams deads it alot (deji on them mainly), but yeah thats my thoughts, hopefully simon/sidemen see this and agrees, but sidemen among us isnt dead by any means itll always get views :)
I just watched among Us playlist all weekend. I enjoyed it back to back to back. Landon, Ginge, and Joe Weller were my favorite invitees. Randy and JME you're good but you're one of the boys imo. I'm 32 and work full time. My two boys like watching them as well. Good all around fun.
we definetely don't watch for the mods and roles 😂 it's nice when you have new guests, but you can bring them back like 5 times and it will still be hillarious
People like among us more than sidemen sundays they should make it a regular thing 1-3 times a week apparently they enjoy recording among us videos (except Tobi) and everyone loves the series not just because of the roles but the dynamic of the group and guests there has never been and I doubt will ever be a bad episode of sidemen among us

Sidemen among us are my favourite sidemen videos. Literally watched all of them. I dont watch them for the roles, a little bit for the guests, but I watch them purely to see the sidemen interact with each other. I dont care that Tobi doesn't like them I enjoy watching him complain too.
Doesn’t even have to be Among US. The sidemen just need to play multiplayer games together. Thats why we loved pro clubs! Imagine a Minecraft series on survival and they encounter the Warden for the first time? Or they play the mini games on it together? Or prop hunt on Fortnite?
100% no one just watches for new content on the game we all watch because we love the sidemen chemistry I can rewatch the same episodes all day and not get bored
I understand where simon is coming from, but i also think he knows it's not that bad as he admitted himself. Smart ppl tend to get bored of the same things quicker, and simon has figured everyone out at this point. You can see it in their games. It got to the point that simon is afraid of ruining the video if he plays in it. Whether he sweats or not. (sometimes he really is a sweat 😂 but i love it). I appreciate him being honest about it instead of faking scenarios to try and make it fun. Instead he's searching for other solutions even tho they are probably harder to find. I respect that.
I feel like the next step up to test and see if it works is Among Us in VR. That would be so much fun to watch ! I watch for the same reason I watch Sidemen altogether, the friendship dynamics, all character traits involved. Its just that Among Us really amplifies that, there is so much character growth so much like plot points, everything. Its so exciting to watch. I do not think its getting stale, each Among Us episode its like a story on its own.
Randy and simon are both right.Having more and more videos will make us want it less and less making it go down in views.Its just supply and demand but you have to keep the demand high by keeping supply low.
Honest, among us is their least stale content, because they actually bring energy and individualism to those vids as opposed to the overt acting in the Sidemen Sundays
I love your among us vids. New roles or not. Everyone are such characters and different moods each time. So funny whether it’s wholesome or someone loses their shit. Entertaining just seeing you guys doing somethin fun together. As long as you guys still enjoy it, so will we methinks!
I just think think they should find a way to mod it so they get a bigger map. Find a way to get 20+ people and have like 4 imposters plus all the roles on top.
Sidemen Among Us is my favorite content they put out besides Hide and Seek. It doesn’t need any gimmicks or new roles imo. Just fun to watch the guys banter and play. Hope they never stop producing it.
think of it as a Comp game in CSGO or Valorant, its the same maps every time, but we love if cause of the dynamics, every round is different with different outcomes

Go watch someone like Sidearms group and copy their roles they use. Their videos never get stale because they have so many different roles, and they use proximity chat. If you use enough roles that everyone has a role, the videos will never get stale
