One thing I noticed about Suelki is she's aware about the fact that she fits Korean beauty standards or whatever and that's why she's always asking the same question "what's your type when it comes to face" like homegirl be fishing for complements.
The game was probably rigged tho. In the final game of tug of war, the formation should have been letter Y not letter T. The force is not equally distributed.
I noticed. The pattern and force was more advantageous to the new guy. Not that the new guy wasn’t powerful but had had an advantage. Still so so impressive!
I don’t believe Seul ki. Something about her is off. Dong woo was at least honest and stubborn as F. He gets points for trying. Seul ki seemed distant from the moment he mentioned he was a doctor. Watch the scene again in slow motion. She is intimidated by that….
i read somewhere in the comments on youtube that seulki's father is a plastic surgeon, not sure if it's really true though. if it's true, there could be a connection why she was turned off when dongwoo mentioned that he was a doctor.
@@tigerlily2510 Right! That’s more on point for the awkwardness. I didn’t get any plastic surgery work. But I would still be so nervous around a plastic surgeon. He would probably be looking at my face and seeing what needs to be done. 😂
Yes, that mission was unfair. The guys exhausted themselves and the weight was unevenly distributed. Seulki seems smitten with Jinyoung. Bad boy, strong, confident, mysterious, nonchalant, a little indifferent, long hair, blunt, direct etc. Her type is a kind man and that is not the first impression I got from jinyoung. I still think he is nervous, so I want to see his personality more. Seulki is excited for someone different than she's used to/looking for, but I don't know how they'll work out.
how do u know what her type is? I'm a girly kinda girl and my type is someone like jinyoung, I don't understand the assumption on what her type is, and what you based that on.
@@Maria-zc4nn In ep 1 she said she likes “nice guys, considerate and friendly”. Jinyoung even thought she wouldn’t choose him for paradise because he wasn’t “joyful” as she described in ep 4 during their lunch.
@@muna866 he said that bc he was shy at the beginning and didn't show that side of him much. And she was attracted to him physically and his demeanor, which is why she chose him to go to paradise with and get to know him better. Idt she would chose him if he wasn't her type
@@Maria-zc4nn that attraction created her to be curious about him even though he initially wasn't what she described. He did clarify in paradise he didn't want to burden her by being overly kind which I'm sure she's used to etc. and because of that I feel made her understand and like him more. What im trying to say is that she doesn't seem used to a guy like Jinyoung.
I think that the new guy coming in at that time and how they set the challenge was rigged. If you look at it physics wise the two guys that were across each other had two forces to deal with while the new guy had almost zero weight because those two would be counter acting each others force. Its almost like someone side tackling a guy who is running with a weighted sleigh while the new guy gets to run with the sleigh ( with no weight). The angles were in favour of the new guy 100%. Even full NFL players would lose in the same position. He is strong but the situation is more like a guy that is 6,1 in height who chooses to wear insoles to be 6,4 in contest of who is the tallest on the island. What he did is not impressive.
@jennycuteamara he was in the military though, doesn't mean that the angles and physics don't apply to the game🤣😂 Even if you had to completely disregard the physics of the game, the fair thing to do was to have him do the three tie up with the losers so that if he did win he would be as tired out as the winners that he would of had to face to receive the reward. These two reasons are why what he did is unimpressive. It's not like I'm questioning his effort to work out to have muscles and that he is "fake" strong. It's just that the game was rigged for him to have the easiest win and make an impact on the women. It's basically a magician showing you their magic trick and the explaining it, he still has to be a convincing magician for the trick to work. He does have strength but not as much as the game would make you believe. He's most likely very similar to both of the guys he went up against but more in line with Dong-woo.
I thought the same thing. Because that episode and him coming in last minute to take someone with him to Paradise would have ONLY worked if he won the match and scooped in to take the girl away. Or else what would have been the point if they couldn’t guarantee that he would win. It would be anticlimactic. All scripted.
Honestly, for me it's the Best life show on Netflix! I can watch it many times and not get tired of it. And I think it's because the cultural Korean behavior of bachelors is so considerate toward each other, so respectful and so polite in manners, what not exist in relationships of Americans. And also location, location, location!! I'm a huge fan! Please create more seasons.
I enjoy your videos but this one in particular was hard to watch bc I had to constantly adjust the volume. Sometimes you’re talking softly and then within seconds you’re screaming (into the microphone). Unfortunately I couldn’t finish watching.
In korea I think those who do a fine arts major can afford to and come from good families - or thats a common perception. Also for women it makes them seem more feminine, which korean guys like

The new guy, very mature with brilliant sarcastic sense of humor, deeply emotional. When Soke tells him " I'll wait for you " he tries not to show the tears coming up to his throat.
I kind of think that is partly why he shut down when Nadine told him that she is a pre-med in US... He seems like the type of guys who would be threaten if he can't use his status or money to (according to them) impress/keep a women...
@@minaysa31 exactly i am not hating on him but he and jongwoo give me bad vibes i cant really explain why but something about them tells me they are not as nice as they seem to be. I dont know if its just me.
Ha! Glad ur video was suggested. Haven't watch the show yet only saw clip. Prop to the producer for the casting. The beauty def up a bit this time but more toward the girl. Soe needs tough it up. These guys are still stranger why put heart on the sleve. One tend to chase what they can't have and opposite attract showcase here. The producer purposely tiring the guy out for the last guy to win which is not fair. He knows what he is doing to get the girl especially the good girl ones.
