I bought mine in May 2023 combined with a Tamron 150-500. This camera does not disappoint. It’s a very reliable, rugged and tough little camera more than capable to do all the stuff even on a professional basis if you want.
Cheers Adrian, still using this little camera, it's served me very well. I will be keeping it when I switch the big camera over!! Thanks for watching mate, have a great weekend!👌👍
Great video Scott. I'm looking to purchase a second camera system alongside my Nikon Z50. Would this be like having exactly the same camera. The Z50 does not allow flip up screen. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on such a good camera.
Hi Simon, this is one to take a look at. I certainly haven't regretted using it. I was in a similar situation as I ran Canon camera's originally, then switched to Canon and Sony. Finally I made the switch over to Sony only when I was lured by the Sony 200-600!!👍
Since I got the a6400 about a month ago I now have 3 lenzes for it: macro, normal zoom, and wildlife of which I love macro soo much (has been dark and cloudy so no good wildlife pics yet). The use I found for the flip up screen is actually so that I don't have to crawl to shoot low for flowers, moss or mushrooms. I don't think it's very usefull for vlogging with the hotshoe being in front of it though.
Hi, thanks for watching. I also use the flip screen for that when shooting macro. I don't find the hot shoe a problem while vlogging as I don't use it for an external mic. The L-bracket I use has a slot on the side to attach the microphone which removes the problem.👌👍
Hi Scott, top video Mate, this is and has been my current camera for 18 months now. I purchased it because I was very impressed with the images and film that you were producing with it in your RU-vid videos. It is a fabulous camera and I also use this with the 200-600 Sony lens. So a big thanks from me for introducing me to this little gem. 📸👍🏽
