The metal used for the statues was so dense and heavy that additional supports had to be added to every floor beneath them, or they would have fallen through. From the Revenge of the Sith novel.
I really don't get why Disney doesn't use the literature that's out there, the authors in the legends books have a lot to offer. People grew up reading these really captivating stories that would resonate with the audience, but Disney has to have absolute creative control which has lead to dumpster fires. Lucas should have never sold it to them.
They’re just shallowly copying them. I don’t know why either because it would’ve been easier to bring the books to life than start from scratch (and still ended up as a shallow copy)
The part in the novelization where he Force-pulls his lightsaber from inside one of the statues was so damn cool. I really wish it had been included in the film. (He also admits he's a Sith and is basically like, "So what? The people don't care." That was a rather prescient scene, hah.)
I wanna know more about the tulls species, they were only in that one episode from the clone wars and we haven't gotten anything about them since. I think a primitive species that can run off the republic and the sepratist the 2 most advanced armies in the galaxy with only spears and beasts to ride should get talked about more but they kinda just got lost in all the other lore as a forgettable primitive species, I wish we had more on how they operated or how they lived or what kind of tribal hierarchy they had.
I wonder where The Zeffo (Sith) Sage, Kujet -- and his monuments and artifacts -- fit in all of this? Since these statues had the power to hide/block The Dark Side from the abilities of The Jedi Order, I wonder what powers they offer to non-Force-user individuals who keep them in their midst, post The Galactic Civil War? Do Sith Cults like The Prophets Of The Dark Side, The Secret Order Of The Empire, and The Acolytes Of The Beyond cherish and seek out these rare Force-imbued statues? Do they offer specific powers to those who keep them as talismans? And, yes, I do find these subjects to be fascinating. Thank you.
@@bullrun2772 Good question. I have a feeling that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau may be starting to make parallels and connections with regard to Dark Side Of The Force artifacts, in both live-action and Animation. I think the planet Pabu (first introduced in The Bad Batch, which is a part of The Mandoverse), where that museum/shrine of rare finds exists, may be a place where certain Force objects may be intentionally hidden/protected from the forces of evil, esp. The Empire. The theme of Force-infused artifacts are already a big feature/plot point in The High Republic Multimedia Initiative; where Good Guys and Bad Guys alike are searching for objects and relics from the galaxy's distant past, that offer supernatural powers of protection and destruction. It's a really cool, fascinating part of The SWU that is very much still untapped within official SW canon.
Political convenience. Yoda was 900 years old and a dutiful servant of the Republic. Mace didn’t trust anybody. And Ki-Adi Mundi is always too quick to point out everyone’s else negative feelings. Yoda was probably more worried about Mace and Mundi acting up than he was about the Chancellor’s furnishings.
@@chiquita683nah, the sages are too ancient for people to recognize. It'd be more like all the weird culty references the USA has in its administrative functions, like the pyramids and eyes on money and stuff like that.
This is very interesting. And Jedi were clueless. Sages are very inteersting. I think they were very powerful and influential. Especially Sistros. Through political gain, like Palpatine did. May the Force be with you too, have a great day too😀
How are the coolest like all of his plans are so baseless anybody could say that does that Statues, had Darkside s**t in them. Which is why they don’t.
@@Gor85 oh, I’m fine is it theory but you guys are basically saying that that’s actual fact when it’s only Siri and I’m pretty sure that they’re just bad people OK you don’t have to be a darkside Sith person to be a power-hungry person. This Dosent mean that they can’t be but the opposite is also true
Why already knowing why the statues in palpatine's office are doing there from the same video that was already shown months ago ...Are way more important than you Realize"
That makes no sense. If anything, having dark side artifacts that evoke the dark side would make the jedi more aware of his presence, especially if they weren't aware of the four sages.
This is definitely does baseless claims I I can’t actually see your point. I think this has nothing to do with a darkside other than like one of the statues has his light saber, but other than that, it’s just they were bad nasty people
I think maybe the mini statues he took with him and on the top of mos amedas staff maybe contained his other lightsaber, just in case thingspopped off plans collapsed or the jedi made a move against him, papa palps wasnt one to underestimate his opponents and have back up upon back up plans and contingencies. Especially since mos ameda was one of the less than handful of beings in the galaxy who knew and he trusted with his real identity and motives, he may have even not let ameda know what was in the statue as a contingency against ameda himself as ameda knew of his immense force abilitues and what they entailed and may have co e up with a way to counteract them if he did bettay him, tho i dont think he ever would bc he knew the true staggering depths of palpatines power
@@bullrun2772 but also why would he carry around a small bronze statue around everywhere if it didn't have some power or purpose, palpatine was not the sentimental type and everything and everyone was something he could use or would be disposed of, I just created what to me seemed like a plausible possible reason
@@kadbenson7540 wow wow why dude it need purpose and power like why not everything dose yes correct about palpatine but he didn’t plan everything out just again baseless points
Respect for HIS OWN master??? Thought was said quite alot Sideous never much liked Plageuis. An more then few times thought ill of him an that he was a misguided fool?.?.?.
You can respect the power, ability, accomplishments, etc of someone you dislike. Also consider that he made sure Plagueis was incapacitated before he attacked. If nothing else, he respected what Plagueis could do.
@@karlrovey you can, but that s**t is a different person doesn’t matter. Do you have powers or not? If you’re more powerful than him he’s gonna hunt you down and kill you OK?
Bruh come on dude some of this just over exaggerating, and just baseless claims like sith influence to see if it was the reason why the Sith became what they are wrong now that might be more towards legends nowhere in canon has that ever been mentioned. Also when they came around I would say is probably modern galactic republic so lol
OK, maybe in legends putting Cannon he never really respected mother talzin more so in the clone wars like a dude did many attempts to destroy her, and he finally did it at the end of the clone wars
