Feel sorry for Simms; there’s a good forward in there busting to get out, that bursting out will come with a few goals to his name. Need to keep the faith: I reckon he’s got more football nous than Haji Wright.

I like simms. He's not scored enough, but he needs time. When he starts he will score lots. He makes apace for others. Its a team game. In simms we trust. PUSB

Not so. There was a goal I saw scored by a Maidstone player in the previous round of the FA cup which Simms would have hit straight at the keeper. He is a League 1 player, at best, and will never play in the Premier League.

Simms has to prove to the fans now, but he is a 6 yard box forward and the way we play is not conducive to his style of play. Which is a shame as he seems a nice lad.

Lads I hate to criticise Wright and Simms. They are professionals and over 6 ft,they should be terrorising defences weekly......

Wright's came out on top took him a bit of time to do so but I really like Wright and as for simms he's not cutting it for me he has probably had 2 decent games all season as soon as simms gets the ball I'm like fuck noo but he needs to improve massively

He actually went for the ball. You can see Kitchin stretch for the ball but the ball out-ran him. Then the Norwich player just has to run into him and because he missed the ball its a red card. Shame really because its not intentional and sometimes in football how do you prove a player is innocent or guilty? I feel for Kitchin really….

Simms will get better not a chance he does is bit of work but nobody has mentioned how many sitters has he missed wright is another hes scored a few goals lately so hes gret how many hes missed more than simms terrible buys tell dean and crew to have a look at plymouth ryan hardy thats a player better than them to put together

@@markfrench3246 he didn't get many chances at Everton but when I watched him he always seemed to want to take an extra touch or bring it down from a volley rather than hitting it first time, there's a talent in there but he seems to be a huge confidence player ...as soon as he fluffs an opportunity his head is gone. I think this is actually helping him from getting all of the abuse (which is never okay), but because Vik had a really bad first season and then was unstoppable the next, people are more inclined to let him bed in.

@@smokeye2361a lot of the figures reported are nonsense, headline figures. The fee was £3.5 million (admittedly still looking a lot atm) everything else is add ons based on his performance, so if he performs then great, if not then nothing there and also based on promotion, in which case no one cares as we'd just be happy to be promoted.

Coventry have awful luck when we spend big money on players. Craig Bellamy was our largest signing before Simms in terms of transfer fee and he was so bad we got relegated from the prem.
