Interesting video. I always have a little less confidence when fishing the ultra clearest of clear lakes up here in the UP/Wisconsin area (for walleye). Rivers I don't lack that confidence but all the old timers say to me "it's better when it's dirty" On the other hand, there is a river up here that looks like milk chocolate from the clay and I lack confidence in that but still catch (sometimes, I don't fish it often and just need to get a better grasp on what works really).
I have fished my share of both clear and dirty water. Dirty can be tough if it’s really thick. But fishing a non-realistic bait in clear water usually gets you nothing. Further, the fish can see you and your boat from a distance whereas this is not the case in dirty water.
