2:53 There’s a bit of a update on the Gumball movie though it not much In an article by The Direct, they talked about an animator named E.C. and the article said “When asked about the movie, E.C. stated that it was "on hold" and that "they're now working on season 7," meaning the movie has only been shelved and not outright scrapped.” So maybe we will hear more about the movie when season 7 premieres. Now for some clarification don’t take it as “Season 7 is produced because the movie got its release cancelled” I’m pretty sure the new season was in development for a while especially since Gumball actually does take a full year to get produce and animate.
I wonder if Paramount will merge with Universal. I miss seeing Nickelodeon and DreamWorks teaming up on some DreamWorks Nicktoons. So if Universal and Paramount do merge, maybe Nickelodeon and DreamWorks will finally collaborate on some DreamWorks Nicktoons again sometimes.
@@JordanAidan1995 You got to stop and think about it. If it’s actually real then why hasn’t Universal themselves hasn’t said anything about them acquiring WB for the past year or so? Disney at least confirmed that they were buying Fox back in 2017
There really is no point that this merger should happen, so many projects would be scrapped again especially people's jobs would've been on the line. This is probably the first time I hear you mention David Zaslav's name multiple times in one video.
No, because everyone would say that they are supposedly fulfilling the dreams of their creators because if people think that, the creators also think the same.
It still would have been hard to believe on what would've happened if they did merg together. WB and Discovery merging was already wild and crazy enough for some of us at this point since late 2022.
I'm fine with what we have now, I see a lot of room for improvement on Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount separately such as their designated channels, and streaming services .
The only thing I can think of is that some paramount movie franchises actually do make money, Sonic, Scream, TMNT, and even Transformers i think did well box office wise, so if Zaslav owned these franchises he’s probably lookin at it like let’s make some money u know, also considering he could then merge Paramount Plus and Max to get more Max subscribers, at that point it would be Max+, Peacock, Disney Plus/Hulu, and Netflix and of those i think Max+ would have the most content available on it other then maybe Netflix, the only real hit that Warner had this year was Barbie, so i think Zaslav is looking for those box office hits and he wants existing ip’s that Paramount owns
This would be a bad idea if Disney will merge with Warner Bros, they have tried to merge the company back in 2016 but it turns out it was fail for the Disney-Warner Bros merger.
Thank god, the Paramount merger won’t ever happen but I still hope Warner Bros. Discovery isn’t going to merge with NBCUniversal this year since Zaslav had made a deal back in late 2022, if it actually happens then the industry will be ruined especially with animations.

Even Congressman Joaquin Castro (who want the company federally investigated for their write off practices) has pointed out on social media how Warner has a massive debt that they can't even afford Paramount! Part of me feels that Zaslav is being desperate as he knows his time in office will (hopefully) being coming to an end soon. And hopefully an innvestigation could get him fired AND all the content he cancelled (especially the animated ones) eventually (if slowly) all brought back

This merge was never going to happen and everybody knows it. WBD, please stop trying to merge with others. I lost HBO Max when it became Max and I don’t have the audacity to rebuy the subscription. Don’t make me lose Peacock too!
