I have a lot of respect for this Rabbi and agree with a lot of that he has to day. I have to say, however, that I have been very surprised with the amount of importance he is placing on America. Israel is the Home of the Jewish people, not America, and rather than asking the Jewish people to pray for America(!!!), I would expect to hear more encouragement for Aliyah or at least supporting Israel rather than behaving as if America is the promised land. I feel that the world (not just America) is shaking up in order to wake up the Jewish people to leave to Israel, rather than waiting for things to get better in our "homeland" as many of our grandparents did in Europe in the 1930s. Definitely, the world is being shaken up, even by God, and one of the main reasons is to bring back the Jews to Israel. Why did God allow the Islamic mass migration to Europe, for example? Surely to pressure the Jews back to their homeland. God will redeem his people mainly from their homeland toward the end of the soon-to-be 7 years of the beast kingdom/Jacob's trouble (3 1/2 years), after the church is caught up. Repent and believe on the gospel of Christ before it's too late (grace through faith age is soon over). *_(King James Bible)_* The woman in Revelation 12 is figurative of ISRAEL: the crown of 12 stars representing the 12 tribes (Gen. 37:9-10). This is so clear via scripture with scripture. Israel is likened to a woman, a wife, a her, and a she (Isa. 54:3-10, 66:7-8; Jer. 3; Hos. 1-3). Jesus Christ was born into the tribe of Judah through the Virgin Birth-he came from Israel. The woman’s flight (verse 6) into the wilderness for 1,260 days refers to the future time commonly known as "The Great Tribulation." 1,260 days is 42 months (of 30 days each), which is 3 ½ years; halfway through the 7 years (Dan. 9:27), the beast (antichrist/idol shepherd) will be wounded to death with a sword: his arm 'clean dried up' and right eye 'utterly darkened' (Zech. 11:16-17; Rev. 13:3), only to resurrect in order to further establish his counterfeit of the Lord Jesus Christ earthly ministry (Satan is a counterfeit according to the holy scriptures). Shortly after, he will set up an image of himself in the 3rd temple that will be built in Jerusalem, and this is the abomination of desolation that the Lord Jesus Christ spoke of (Matt. 24:15; Mark 13:14); he then breaks the covenant that he made with the Jews at first (Dan. 9:26-27; Isa. 28:14-18; Luke 21:24; Rev. 11:2), and Israel has to flee for safety into the wilderness (Rev. 12:6). This perfectly lines up with Matt. 24:15-22, which is in context the Lord Jesus Christ prophesying of those 3 ½ years: 'Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains' (verse 16). That is also why scripture calls it 'the time of Jacob's trouble' (Jer. 30:6-7): Jacob is Israel. - The church leaves in Rev. 4:1 (right before these 7 years), after which there is no more 'church' mentioned, for the people who make it through thereafter are what we call "Tribulation Saints" (faith AND works required).
That is because America was founded by trying to create Jerusalem, which is not just a location on a map, but a blueprint for a future State that is centered on God's instructions for a good civilization. When the Israeli state was founded, they didn't try to do that, so Israel is in the location of Jerusalem, but the formation of the state has nothing to do with the Torah wisdom

It's tough to digest, but yes. Everything is G-d's doing. As for our duty, or purpose, is to use our freedom of choice to choose the will of G-d as our own. Agree, and understand later, for G-d is perfection, G-d's thoughts are not our (human) thoughts, G-d's way are not our ways, and everything that G-d does is for the good of His creation (I say "His" for the sake of fluency, G-d has no gender) and for the glory of His existence. You will come to understand when you completely let go of ego and refuse to be arrogant, when humility is your greatest strength and your ability to see the goodness in others (unless their behavior removes all doubt) prevails, when your patience is long and your generosity is consistent to those in need ... you'll come to see the attributes of G-d do live inside you and to transform for the better is completely in your own hands. First step taken ... G-d will walk beside you, always, no matter the challenges or loss, just never give up or lose your faith. Be well.
