He was probably in his mid 20s to 30s in the 1960's...... So today he would probably be around 80 yrs old, lost likely he is dead and or too old to google himself
There was actually a movie about this! One of the survivors pointed out Arthur Leigh Allen as the murderer but he died of heart attack before he was brought for questioning!
Random person : So what do u do for a living Zodiac Killer: I am trying to get rid of all cancers Random person: Cool Zodiac Killer: Capricorn’s are next
I think their self preservation skills would be too strong to boast about this. It’s like the satisfaction derived and the fear the zodiac inflicted was the most important part. To revolt against the government and society. To have the world watching knowing they are causing so much panic and still never being caught because they’re organized, brilliant, and sadistic.
There is a big difference between killing a person in real life and killing a person in a videogame. If the feelings where the same there wouldn't be murderers today. And I made that meme cuz he sounded like my mum
We cant lie...He was pretty smart...He had to think about the actions and reactions of the cops, and the people, Pretty smart there. Smarter then me anyway
@@marthextrovert Not all education focuses on spelling If he was learning to become a doctor, the spelling of a word like annihilation wouldn’t mean anything Of course I don’t know anything about his education, just pointing this out
He probably wasn’t smart, the cops are just incompetent. So many murders go unsolved. Not to mention that with today’s technology there’s no way the killer wouldn’t be found now.
Atoopen do you really think this one guy came up with a code that NOBODY else could solve? no he didnt make a code he made a bunch of stuff that didnt make sense and lied and said it meant something
I bet the person who lied about the race of the person was either someone working with Zodiak or the Zodiak himself by making a 2nd call or whatever method these sick people come up with.
The reason they didn't find him cause he's as smart as any detective or police. He's probably still alive just relaxing in his house, knowing that they'll never ever find him.
only fav of gru can understand what u really mean Btw i don't think gru wants to be some pshyco, serial killer rather he wants to be super villain making impossible thing possible
That happened only once possibly because the dispatcher was inexperienced and agitated. We would have to know something about dispatcher to know why that erroneous report was sent out. The authorities and the public knew the Zodiac was a white man.
@@awakeish nah, he talking about....Durst I think? Dudes a serial killer but also a millionaire. He went on the run and got caught stealing an egg salad sammich, even though he had oodles of cash on him. Then when he was doing a documentary about himself he didn't realize that his mic was hot and blurted out "well of course I killed them all! Whatever was I supposed to do?"
@@govno1232 never said they didn't, just that it's dumb for a guy on the run who's got plenty of cash, to steal a gas station sammich and draw attention to himself.
As far I can tell from this video, That zodiac killer literally was a lunatic, sociopath, and also a genius who tricked local enforcement all the time. Sending clues on his murders yet he was could never get caught. Really terrifying but also indicate he has a brilliant mind.
I don't think it's very hard to get away to be honest, this guy made several spelling errors in words in his letters.. that means he wasnt very intelligent. You guys overestimate him.
My mom was roommates with one of the Zodiac's victims. She doesn't like to talk about it, but I know that's why she went into criminal justice and abnormal psych, then just stopped abruptly in the mid 90's. 🤷♀️
@Hyper Helios these crime happened due to brainwash world. If u changed the system of world, there will be no more serial killers.Sound like that thing is impossible.
@@mnmmnm8321 umm may be they should try to make people live happily. So, there will be no trauma. The less trauma, the less innocent people get killed.
That could be somewhat possible, but there’s millions of people in the US & there’s the possibility Jack’s bloodline ended before the time of the Zodiac Killer
There is something I always found interesting about the zodiacs notes, in the notes he sent he referenced a book called “the most dangerous game” even saying something that the main villain in the story did, it always made me wonder if it had given him ideas or something like that. “The Most Dangerous Game” is a 1920’s book about a lost hunter who ends up on an island with a rich Russian general. The general ends up telling him that he hunts humans for fun, because they are the best hunt. The general ends up trying to hunt the other man.
The hood too ,interesting if a similar hood is in some sort of historical record dangerous game was library records looked at anyway he and jack both in a bad place
To be honest I think Zodiac was a sociopath who just wanted to play a disgusting game of catch me if you can. "He" wanted to prove that "he" was better and smarter then the police. Its twisted and sick but this person had to have been a litteral genius in order to make the cyphers and figure out his "path" to prove he was so smart. Dude was one sick puppy.
We don’t know his reasonings. He killed couples so I’m guessing he had his heart broken in a relationship or a certain relationship others had in his upbringing broke him. The taunts to the police indicate a pain caused by the system as well. Maybe he experienced something that never got it’s justice. Something to do with a relationship. I don’t think he started killing for the fun of it. He snapped one day
"Zodiac" is one of my favorite movies ever. Part of the reason I love biographies (maybe not accurate but opens u mind to research on the topic u know) is how unbelievable the stories usually are. Plus this was also a thriller and the cast has 3 of my favorite actors ever.
@@Lily-xd9wj people have a theory that he's a policeman that manipulated evidence so if he was a policeman he could've easily found out anyone's profile and birthdate.
HaVoKYT lol the person who played Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) was in the movie about the Zodiac killer he was trying to find out who the killer was for a while.
Maybe it’s a whole group. Each member is one of the zodiacs, and the leader of the group is the first zodiac, Aries. Then every members status is represented by their role in the zodiac. The last sign being the least harmful, and the first being the main guy. Every member has certain people they target. (Most likely their same sign.) I know this is VERY far fetched, but it made me think, like a lot.
ALA is an initially very convincing suspect when you look at all the circumstantial evidence... but it's all really just circumstantial and the same can be said of many people. I find Richard Gaikowski to be interesting... but really if you look at just about any serious suspect you can easily convince yourself that there are too many coincidences and it must be them. But it surely can't be all of them... ...or can it? :0
It just got revealed that the Zodiac was really Gary Poste. I’m so happy it’s finally been found out, 60 years later. We’re 3 years too late, it’s a tragedy he’ll never be served what should’ve awaited him here on Earth, but I pray he’ll receive what justice can be provided above. But after all this time, I’m so happy these extraordinary people solved what we never thought we could. ❤️🙏🏼
I believe the Zodiac Killer was a rogue cop like the Golden State Killer. He so strategically took advantage of weaknesses in the law enforcement system, had knowledge of explosives, and carefully defied every murderer/serial killer stereotype to confuse investigators. He may not have been lying about killing 37 people. Many murders may have remained unlinked to him. That combined with his advanced knowledge of cryptography (that a normal municipal or state police officer wouldn't have) points to the Zodiac Killer being a forner FBI agent.
@@DyingToLive12 No. The dude is trying to big up fbi agents like they're special, that's what it means. My comment was more of a sarcastic, rhetorical question by the way
I don't think as special as FBI but more likely a war veteran, it makes sense, to me at least. Not that I think he's alive nowadays, killers have their egos and he suddenly stopped taunting the investigators, I don't think that's what he would've done.
I was once watching a documentary about the zodiac killer and I got scared, so my dad watched it with me. When they showed pictures of the crime scene, he said “ah the glory days”
So you are telling me that instead of getting identified now in oct 2021, he would have got caught way back in 1969 only if the police office operators weren't racist ?
