Except thats not possible unless Apple actually used the original logo, which they didn’t. They only used the one with the bite mark, therefore it wouldnt infringe on Apple Corps trademark. Apple Corps, also cannot copyright the idea of having an apple as a logo, nor has Apple. The logos are disimilar enough that its very difficult to mistake one for the other. Apple Corps Ltd trying to trademark a literal Apple, as in the word and fruit itself, might be the scummiest thing i’ve ever heard done by a company. They continued trying to sue Apple Computers (this Apple) for literal decades, arguing that the fact that the Apple computer could play music files meant that they were infringing on Apple Corps (a music distribution company) trademark, which is utterly ridiculous. They later tried to sue Apple again when the iPod and iTunes / Apple Music came out, after which Apple literally just bought all of the trademarks from Apple Corps to get them to shut up. Apple then let Apple Corps continue using their old logos and trademarks, because they weren’t as petty as Apple Corps.
