As I mentioned in the video, if the artbook flat out states evolved is 100% more powerful, then so be it. Until then, I believe that there is enough evidence to show thermo > evo Thermo took in more radiation, dispatched of a relative opponent in seconds while evolved couldn't even dent shimo, and is far more durable. Remember, everyone is entitled to their opinion at the end of the day, so if this video didn't change your mind then that's perfectly okay.
Evolved is more powerful than thermo. The novel is different to the movie, so you can't use it for information if you are discussing things about the movie.
This debate is simple really. Evolved has 20x the capacity of normal goji, thermonuclear is caused by too much energy not enough storage. This state was then essentially replicated by goji intentionally so he didn't actually melt down. Evolved in the movie might not actually be as strong since he had only just evolved, but he has the potential to massively outclass thermo
This also shows that he’s adapting from the last movie and previous encounters, as he wanted more energy and power to take on several different opponents for an extended period of time using his best weapon,his atomic breath,without it losing power or him losing stamina. Amazing!

I like to believe the reason why Godzilla had cracks in GXK and not KOTM is because his thermonuclear form opened up those cracks, that’d also explain why his whole body was glowing when he drilled to the hollow earth despite being lower on energy than usual Although this is just a theory/headcanon
A point that everyone looks over is one of the most simple things. I'm tired of people saying that "evolved has 20x more radiation so he's 20x more powerful than base Godzilla" and also that "thermo is just base Godzilla overflowing" when supercharged base is obviously the overflowing of the base form. Even tough having the capacity to store 20x more radiation doesn't make evolved 20x more powerful, I'll just highball it and say it does for this. The simple point I was talking about is the difference between thermonuclear and nuclear. A nuclear reaction is splitting an atom which releases a huge amount of energy, while a thermonuclear reaction is combining 2 hydrogen atoms, (or other more dense elements, but thermo would almost 100% be a hydrogen reaction), which combine into what would be a helium atom, releasing way more energy than a nuclear reaction. How much? One thousand times more energy than a nuclear reaction. Thermonuclear bombs use the same fuel that stars use, nuclear fusion, while nuclear bombs use nuclear fission, as i just explained, fusion being the thermonuclear reaction and fission being standard nuclear. However, stars also have fuel from pressure, and to compensate from the lack of pressure, thermonuclear bombs need more heat. this would also apply to Godzilla too. What does this mean? Thermo is hotter than a star. So, now that we know that a thermonuclear reaction is 1000 times more powerful than a nuclear reaction, (base Godzilla), and that evolved is "20x more powerful" than base Godzilla, Mathematically and scientifically, Thermo would be flat out 50 times more powerful than evolved. Even if evolved has more radiation, thermonuclear energy and nuclear energy are different. And what does it matter? Couldn't they absorb each other's radiation? Evolved couldn't absorb Thermo's heat though. If you want proof, I'd just say that evolved Godzilla couldn't be thrown into a star hotter than the sun and be just fine. All in all, Thermo is on a completely different scale from Evolved, and any other Godzilla forms. He literally has the fuel of a star, compared to the fuel of 20 nuclear bombs. And to anyone who still thinks evolved would win, go watch Slick's video, and maybe do some science, and math.
I have a singular point to disagree with - the 20x energy capacoty actually does directly bokst his power. Base evo is 2x anf the 20x comes in the form of supercharged
I came back to this after watching Slick’s new video but I realise how much of a low diff fight this would be. Thermo is definitely stronger and there’s more reason to believe it when you know that Ghidorah amped himself off of a soon to explode Godzilla which gained energy from both, a nuke that opened up an entrance to hollow earth as well as energy from mothra (Even after Ghidorah drains some portion of it including Godzilla’s own injury her energy could sustain Godzilla 2 years after GKOTM). Ghidorah’s amp was so vast it basically left Godzilla wounded so bad he needed buildings for support. If Ghidorah was so amped by an electrical outlet or something, then imagine the amount he’d receive prior to when he was chasing Emma. Speaking of that nuke, it was modified too so no wonder it could be capable of both putting Godzilla in meltdown but also enough to blow a hole into Hollow Earth or just open up a gateway
Thermo cannot damage evolved, as evolved is even more durable than doughegoji. That plus the fact that evolved has way more energy in him. G24 was at 100% when he absorbed the power plant, when he was in cadiz, in the novelization hes directly compared to thermo, not as extreme but still compared, as the city remained largelly unmelted and the water boiled when godzilla entered it, i may add that on recent estimates i managed to find out that Hornet Jets couldn’t close in a radius of a5 least 500 meters, meaning air had a temperature of 50 Celsius 500 meters away from godzilla. then he absorbed the largest stockpile of energy in the planet. The only thing that makes people say thermo is stronger than evolved is his destructive capabilities and the so called "perfect fusion" with mothra, said fusion's effects were permanent. So he still retains them even when he evolved, not only the enhanced sense but also the fact that he can still turn the excess of energy into heat thats also why Amped G19 was said to be dying but not Framce Goji, hes not dying because he can release the excess of energy safely. His beam not damaging skar can be attributed to the fact that it grazed skar's back for less than half a second. Not even a direct hit like kong got in gvk. Plus this happens alot in media, Cell slapped Hercule and sent him flying to a mountain, Hercule is just a slightly above average human, probably gets beaten by Kid goku, he should have died from that but he lived. Evolved got knocked out by kong yes, but thanks to Arvid himself we know that kong is as strong or even slightly stronger than muto prime physically speaking, now enhance that with the beast glove. And the 12 hit combo didnt even put a scratch on godzillas head. And no ghidorah isnt as durable as godzilla, because his wing lightning attack did more damage to him than it did to godzilla. Plus godzilla can tear apart his heads with relative ease so.... Onto thermo's durability. Its likely either on par or lesser than evolved. Him "laughing" at the gravity beams while advancing is not that impressive, we know that godzilla is cocky, and like, in the antartica fight, the GB pushed him slowly over 12 seconds, but he was standing still and only made his chest smoky. He was walking forward when he was thermo, which would lessen or straight up nulify the force the gravity beams were applying to him. And unlike evolved, who doesnt have limited time, thermo can just do 3 pulses and the thermo is gone. And the pulses wont even kill evolved. I’ve seen the goji center stuff being used, and honestly it “can make sense” but at the same time not, because, while yes the energy itself isnt 20 times more powerful, the usage of this energy could be 20 bigger, thus making the atomic breaths 20 times more powerful. And this is indeed what happens, when he supercharges in the novelization its said that he can barely contain the energy, meaning hes at the peak of his energy usage. Furthermore, also thanks to the novelization and previous material, we know that Shimo is way more durable than Ghidorah and way stringer, while ghidorah got scorch marks from the atomic breath in the antartica, she suffered no damage and in fact made her even angrier, she also pretty much dominated godzilla to the point where his only way of winning was trapping her. Amped Godzilla was barely winning against Base ghidorah, the one godzilla fought in the past. Shimo in the other hand we know shes quite more powerful than ghidorah, and when godzilla supercharged, it is mentioned it was a toss up. This should be even more indicative that no, Supercharged evolved is not equal to amped g19 but much stronger. Its good to let go, thermo's reign as strongest in the mv is over, we got past that in gxk. And we still have to know more stuff about evolved, so this video could have waited, because new info could just come in and basically this video would be even more wrong.
Agreed with every point here, some will say “oh but godzillas power was increasing every minute!” But to that i say that, its simply Godzilla taking slowly the radiation the nuke gave him.

Cool vid man, love watching both sides of an argument. However, I have some things to say. First of all, Godzilla is evolving constantly in one way or another, and this has been physically manifesting in every installment of the monster verse. Most often, it’s increased strength, speed, agility, and radiation capacity. That last one is important. Also, he never backslides when evolving, (no I’m not counting thermo as an evolution) meaning that whenever he reaches a new ceiling, he stays there. The best example is in Godzilla dominion, where we learn that he kept all of mothra’s sensory abilities from 2019. I am also a firm believer that Rome goji is indeed comparable to Boston goji. Given the fact that he was already a walking glow stick by the time he arrived in France, this would mean he would’ve had to get that energy from somewhere, and where else could he have gotten it from but Scylla, the titan who, (by directly disobeying Godzilla) absorbed the energy of MULTIPLE nuclear power plants. (Probably between 3 and 5, maybe as many as 7). This means that when he confronted Tiamat, he was already more powerful than Boston goji in terms of nuclear energy. Also, if he passively absorbed Tiamat’s DNA, he did the same with her radiation. (Which was probably a lot, considering she was hibernating there for at least a couple years) We know Godzilla can passively absorb radiation, because it wasn’t until gxk that he actively absorbed in the cannon. (On our end of things). Also, the durability of evolved is higher than you make it out to be. If Shimo is actually relative to Ghidorah, than the frostbite blast is probably relative to the amped gravity beams. The first time Godzilla was hit with amped gravity beams, it caused visible damage, and gxk kong was almost killed for brief, indirect exposure to the frost bite blast. Both evolved and thermo shrugged off these attacks like nothing, putting their durability on a much more even playing field. On top of that, Shimo never once caused visible damage to base evolved Godzilla. Also, Kong in Gxk is a hell of a lot stronger than people give him credit for. A still heavily sedated Kong put up a good fight in Hong Kong five years prior to gxk, and given kong’s young age and the fact that he also changes from movie to movie, it’s not a slight on Godzilla for getting boxed up again, just for underestimating him… again. Lastly, the atomic breath in 2019 dissipated VERY quickly over the massive surface area of Ghidorah’s upper body, making its impact force and temperature largely irrelevant. Also, Ghidorah has a natural resistance to temperature and blunt force trauma, essentially hard countering the atomic breath. Ghidorah’s durability isn’t actually that high overall, and this is demonstrated at is-la de Mara when Godzilla fairly easily rips off a head after getting a good hold on it. Does thermo output more raw energy? Definitely. But unless thermo can kill himself with his own pulses, (which I consider nearly impossible because he would have to withstand all the energy building up and exploding outwards from his skin in the first place), thermo wouldn’t be able to harm evolved either due to the both of them having relative durability. Also, consistency in the monster verse is complete ass and basically nonexistent Have a wonderful day FDA!

My main argument against this though, is just the fact that Evolved is the result of Godzilla not only absorbing all the pink crystals, but **also** him raiding a nuclear power plant or possibly multiple (we don't exactly know how many he did raid) like Scylla did. Thermo does have a better show of feats on his power, but to me just the simple fact that Godzilla took so much energy just to go evolved puts Evo above Thermo for me. Or at least Thermo, being more unstable than Evo is, is naturally more destructive just by existing. Keep in mind that Evo ie still not finished evolving and we didn't really get to see much of the supercharged state when compared to Thermo. It's definitely not 20x time more powerful as that's a common misconception, but it's definitely more powerful from the usual atomic energy. But I guess we won't be getting a concrete answer for a while, considering supercharged evolved didnt do that much. Ah well.

Evolved Godzilla’s energy capacity is x20 larger than his base form from 2024, more radiation = more overall strength and power. Thermonuclear Godzilla is the result of Godzilla exceeding his energy capacity due to having lower capacity to store higher amounts of radiation, and Thermonuclear is also lethal to him as well, as stated in KOTM his body would’ve also exploded had it not been for Mothra cooling him down to safer levels that were not lethal to him. Also, about the whole “Godzilla laughed at Ghidorah’s gravity beams” Evolved Godzilla withstood a direct hit from Shimos frost bite, which is stated to be much stronger than Ghidorah’s gravity beams and the novelization heavily implies that Ghidorah was frozen by Shimo, Evolved Godzilla was stated to be a counter to Shimos frostbite as well, so he is able to survive being frozen with out without Mothra. The novelization also confirms that Evolved is stronger than Thermonuclear based upon statements essentially saying “We’re getting energy readings that we’ve never seen before” and “Godzilla glowed, brighter and stronger than ever before”, GXK toy commercials also state that Godzilla is “stronger than ever before”. It also canonically makes sense for Evolved to be stronger than Thermonuclear based upon the new abilities and perks it grants. So no, Kong and Mothra both lose horribly to both Evolved and Thermonuclear. Kong can’t even get close to a Thermonuclear since he’d literally melt from just being near him, that’s not including his Thermal pulse, and Kong cannot cause harm or injury to Evolved Godzilla either, a single spiral ray beam from Evolved Godzilla one shots him. So again, Supercharged Evolved> Base Evolved>>>Thermonuclear>> Base Godzilla>> Kong full arsenal
I always knew Thermo was stronger than Evolved. Evolved is just Godzilla being able to hold in more energy than he could in base form, whereas in his Thermonuclear state, he was literally melting everything around him because of the excess energy that he was unable to hold in and had to release as soon as possible.
that's merely an ability of shimo, that doesn't correlate to the direct power of the frostbite blast. Look at it when being fired onto kong, godzilla, or skar king. The ice age is an ability added on.

Tbh I think as the comics would suggest that part of Mothra is still in Goji after Thermo which makes me believe that GvK Goji and Rome Goji are all Amped Goji mainly also because when he was Amped he was glowing…like a lot…and GvK Goji was glowing a lot as well I mostly think that in the time between KOTM and GvK, GvK, GvK and GxK he expelled all of the Amped Goji energy but since he didn’t have a radioactive home in GxK he could not return to that state forcing him to find another option

thermo: took in a nuke which made him overflow to the point where he expelled a shot of his atomic breath and was about to explode. He absorbed hours of radiation in his own lair. He also took in the life force of an ENTIRE kaiju. evo: Absorbed a power plant (the cracks on his body are a design change), you can tell it's less because he's not "reaching critical mass", he absorbed tiamat's DNA which gave him the pink color and spikes, and absorbed only a couple hours of energy from tiamat's lair. Tiamat's lair balances out for the nuke that godzilla absorbed but the addition of his own lair and mothra's entire life force def makes it clear that thermo absorbed more radiation

First of all nuclear Godzilla was burning, so that’s why it stomped through his chest second of all scar comes from a very durable race as you saw that Zuko got thrown around and he still got up and he’s only a kid and it was even by Kong and she moves the opposite of Godzilla. She was cold so it would be harder for Godzilla blast to break Shimmo armor like if you agree.
I think that overall Thermo Goji is stronger than Evolved, but considering the x20 increase in Radiation capacity I do believe he would be able to dish out more damage in a concentrated beam if he was fully charged up as you've mentioned

Interesting argument and I can say that your opinion is not false by any means. But I have my own reasons to say that Supercharged Evolved would beat Thermonuclear Godzilla: 1.) The novel stated how Supercharged was emitting radiation more than ever so it does give us an idea that Supercharged STORES more power and can expell it too. 2.) If thermonuclear Godzilla can use an atomic breath (according to you) then Supercharged Evolved can use a pulse too , I mean he literally did in France. Those pulses would be even lets say , cuz thermo releases more power but Supercharged releases a hotter and brighter pulse with more radiation. 3.) Supercharged took punches from Kong , yes , but without a scratch. Taking punches and being injured is completely different. Supercharged wasn't even scratched BY ANYTHING IN THE MOVIE. He was stalemating shimo in Rio. Shimo is stronger than Ghidorah by a mile we all know. 4.) Supercharged is much more of a physical fighter so he'll destroy thermo in hand to hand. 5.) Going Supercharged, Evolved godzilla's own body burns like a star. You can see heat being emitted by him. evo goji can store 20X more power, there is a different. storage doens't = power, and if your confused about that, its quite simple. storage power = the amout he can absorb and hold in his body. 20X power = the amout of strenght he gotten. evo goji just basicly has a bigger nuclear tank in his body allowing him to hold more nulcear power, compared to thermo which is just max storage power before his evolved form, and its basicly flowing out of him like a nuclear meltdown destroying everything around him from the shear power, kinda see it as like an exploding pressure tank, but more controled into pulses.
This isnt exactly true, you can dee once or twice in the movie that godzilla can use his new energy capacity to amp melee attacks, definitely making him stronfer, idk about 20x but still

Well, not really. If Godzilla is hit by his own Atomic breath, or other Atomic attacks like the pulse; it would still damage him. Think about it like this, you need water to survive, but if that same water is shot at you at high speeds from something like a firehose, you will still be hurt pretty damn bad.
Maybe Evolved Godzilla was holding back? Like Godzilla knew that Shimo was important and wanted to make sure she wasn't hurt too much. Good arguments though, interesting to watch this after seeing Godzilla Guy's video.

The skar not getting damaged part is iffy, as the beam grazed his back not even for a second and as well as the budget wasnt as high as other films, and neither of the main titans got visible damage from any attack aside from the cut kong got due to the crystal

Finally someone who thinks Thermo is stronger, Supercharged isn’t stronger just because he can hold 20x more radiation since supercharged form was godzilla trying to get more powerful while being Safe. While Thermo was him being way to over radiated and definitely not safe and needed to use his pulses to use up his radiation to not die. Evo pretty blatantly surpasses burning on most ways His skin is tougher, he absorbed more energy in the process of evolving than he did in the process of becoming burning, he is never once visibly injured while evolved and while supercharged glows much much more than burning, it’s literally stated his supercharge is him using all of that energy that he absorbed and stored in the process of evolving
(Please do read the full thing as it will make sense if you read it all) I got a counter argument to thermo being stronger and it’s relatively simple When Godzilla was in Italy for gxk monarch read his radiation levels to be identical to the readings they got back in 2019 in the beginning of the Boston fight so first off G19 when he had that amount of radiation was at critical mass while g24 or g27 was not at critical mass he was just at his power back in kotm meaning that in between films his capacity increased then compare to when Godzilla got his thermo form no where did it say he got a power amp from mothra only did it say that mothra gave him the abilities to vent off the energy that was about to make him go kaboom enhanced senses and increased agility and speed meaning that thermo should only scale to the Boston goji at the beginning of the fight when he wasn’t at near critical mass when he wasn’t at deaths door because like legit do you think a drop from the stratosphere hurt him to the point he couldn’t move when Kong took a larger drop unharmed I THINK NOT! There is a big problem with Evolved>Thermo Evolved used a similar amount of radiation for a permanent evolution. Thermo used a similar amount of radiation for a power up that lasted a couple of minutes.
Nuke amped Godzilla from Kotm is kinda irrelevant. Him going to explode was just him reaching energy levels which were going to surpass his max to the point he couldn't hold. Evolved Godzilla is 20x his max base. Evolved would be 20x greater than Max power Nuke amp Godzilla, since even with the Nuke, Godzilla still contained that power in his base. Thermo Godzilla was when he surpassed his Max base threshold and couldn't hold it anymore, aided by mothra. He let out that energy in the pulses Theres no debate here. Evolved has an energy storage that dwarfs his Kotm self, and would be able to contain all the energy he recieved when going Thermo and then some. (Its also funny, tiamats lair was stated to be the largest stockpile of radiation in the world, and Godzilla absorbed it, right after he got so irratiated from a powrr plant that his skin cracked with his own energy, lol)
Godzilla in France was strong as his in Boston and evolved was 20x that radiation and he could make a nuclear pulse which Godzilla without mothra could not do

It was stated that 2024 Godzilla (or Rome Godzilla) in his base is around if not equal to power to Boston Godzilla meaning when we see Blue Thremo he's equal if not more powerful than Thremo and if base 2024 Godzilla is around/equal to Boston Godzilla and that was him in his normal state that mean he could hold more radiation as he's not about to explode meaning blue thremo is actually more powerful than red thremo so Supercharged evo godzilla would slam thremo.
Most of the points you make are easy to debunk and Supercharged evolved is the strongest we have ever seen him. He had 20X power up not just energy capacity as it’s stated that he’s “base evolved” is 10X stronger then his base and supercharged is 10X more, meaning he is actually 20X times stronger not to mention, (the more energy Goji has the stronger he is this is common logic). The only reason Goji went Thermo is simply because he had never had that much energy before hence why he couldn’t contain it and control it, but since he’s become MUCH stronger since kotm he can now contain these kinds of energy levels that he couldn’t in kotm. Its important to add that the way he absorbed the radiation plays into the power of his attacks. G24 took in radiation and energy at his own pace. g19 HAD it all forced on him immediately, making the radiation more unstable.

I can't believe how many people are glazing Evo goji on the comments rn, I'm going to give y'all 2 ways thermo slams, 1:with math and 2: with statements 1:it was stated in the kotm novelization that goji's power was rising by the minute in Boston, and even people without machinery could tell the difference between moment a to moment b, so if you low ball it it should be 1/20 of his maximum energy capacity per minute, and since the fight lasted 8 hours (Mady got to Boston during the afternoon snd Godzilla was crowned alpha during the morning) it would come out as an additional x24 the maximum energy capacity of base goji, since peak goji Is considered to be begging of gxk/kotm/gvk goji, and it was also stated that Godzilla was killing himself by powering up, now of course he didn't stay like in his energized state for the entire fight since Ghidorah beat him earlier do we can assume he was a bit bellow supercharged evolved at the time, let's say x18, than thermo didn't just beat Ghidorah, he FODDERIZED him, humiliating the enemy that just beat you should be a minimum of x2 your previous form, which means that by low balling the power up rate, as well as the State he got defeated at, and also the amp from the thermo form, without even counting mothra's radiation, Thermo's power comes at a whooping x36 his base form, which mops the floor with the x20 of evolved goji. Godzilla burned fat to become evolved, he doesn’t burn fat to maintain the form., thats something you completely made up. They literally can check Godzilla’s vitals at any moment from the argo so idk what you are talking about. All of this is based on assumption and non accurate calculations, because for you to get actual accurate energy amounts youd need to know how much radiation the bomb in kotm had, and no, his power did not increase further aside from the nuke (which he did not get all the energy at once, because if his power was increasing “every minute” what was the source of radiation that was boosting him then? Thats just not how it works, ghidorah being near thermo wouldn’t make him near invincible, one thing is radiation on a place, like the volcano, and another completely different is the radiation within a titan. Your logic and math is flawed, on the same novelization you mention so many times its also said that while Godzilla was crossing cadiz, he was expelling alot of heat, similar to kotm’s thermo, but not as extreme, the city remained largely unmelted and the water boiled when he entered it. And AFTER all of that, he obtained all the energy from the largest stockpile of energy in the planet.

@@cantaro5958 btw no, there are many flaws in your logic about monarch having readings of Thermo, 1: Ghidorah's storm was able to hide him until monarch actively scanned it, and that storm was present during thermo's appearance, 2: a massive amount of Monarch's team was also monitoring the other titans 3:when the whole world is ending you can't exactly go ahead and ask to use valuable equipment to monitor a big lizard despite your situation 4: vitals have nothing to do with radiation, sure they got readings of his radiation in Castle bravo, a facility specifically designed to monitor goji when he in the Bermuda triangle, which he was not, and also the distance from between the layer and castle bravo is way more than the maximum distance the argo could had traversed on 4 hours, so they may very well be out of reach and thus unmonitorable, keep coping 😅
Definitely agree that thermo is more powerful, but keep I'm mind that Godzilla had time to prep for Shimo. He knew she was there and probably knew she was being controlled, thus he wouldn't want to kill her, just be enough to subdue her and take out skar king. Godzilla got frozen by Shimo's blast and shrugged it off without issue, which tells me Godzilla is using a mini-pulse that is highly controlled to break the ice. He set up to counter her and thus can't really be compared to the power that carried him in KOTM.
