@@ReddwarfIV It is a figure of speech. In chess, 'spending two minutes on the clock' doesn't imply there's a timer, it only means that he spent two minutes to find that move. Just like how 'flagging' doesn't involve flags.
Games played 30 Chess Simp 15 *50%* Draw 12 *40%* Viewers 3 *10%* Three times was played a double match, specifically in 10th, 16th and 19th challenge. We need Fairy pieces to make this section more challenging
Imo no, the viewer is the one to choose which one is better so he could play with it, while simp will always get the worse one (atleast according to the viewer)
Also: The evaluation bar started hugely in black's favor. Even if drawing from a losing position is impressive, it's compensated for by losing a winning position.
Rule rule of repetition is when the same *position* is reached 3 times and these can happen anywhere throughout the game It's not when you repeat the same moves 3 times in a row
There's also some other nuances like castling rights and en passant being available are relevant to repetition. Like two positions with all the pieces on the exact same squares but in one of those positions en passant is legal but in the other it is not, that's technically not a repetition.
@@name-nam every piece must be in the same position 3 times. If you can take a picture of the board at 3 different turns and they look the same, it's draw by repetition. (Ignoring castling rights and stuff as mentioned above)
@@Team_Orchid Yeah, I also got thrown off by my friend from Senior High when he brought out his Rook offensively by using the Queen Side castling just to add it in his own attack against my back rank King.
From lost in Episode 10 to managed to get draw in this Episode. Not too bad, Pythag guy with Pythagorean theorem formula comes after, and a very angry cat profile picture.
@@ruanpingshan most likely yes. The viewer probably were trying to avoid draw by repetition. But they didn't know if we can make draw by repetition without repetitive move
I think black's biggest blunder was at the 1:29 mark. Instead of capturing with his c file pawn, I think they should have taken with the e file pawn, as that would have opened up more attacks from their queens. I do really enjoy these videos though, a fun exercise in pausing, looking at the layout and trying figure out what I would do in CS's place. (For the record, I was on the same wavelength as CS this time around, which means either I'm improving, or the layout really only had one good path for white to take)
According to someone else, "If you can take a picture of the board at 3 different turns and they look the same, it's draw by repetition." The turns don't need to be back to back.
Chess, but you play the Clash Royale challenge. Every move costs elixier. You start with 10 elixier, every move you get +2. you can only have 10 at once, otherwise it is wasted. To move your pieces, you need elixier. They count: Queen: 7 King: 2 Bishop: 3 Knight: 3 Rook: 5 Pawn: 1 So for example: You got 10 elixier. You start. You play e4, 1 elixier down, you got 9. Your opponent plays e5. It’s your turn now. You get +2 elixier, but since you already have 9, you get only +1 so you have 10.
Why don't you tried to take the Knight whit your Rook and then advance whit him all the way to Check his King, and Possibly check mate, if you did it before he moves his Queen ?
OBJECTION. You state that your position is worse and therefore you are better under draw by repetition. This, however is false. Your evaluation bar clearly shows your position to be leagues ahead of your opponent. Because of this, together with testimony given in previous videos, you are WORSE than this viewer because they got a draw while THEY were in the worse position. TAKE THAT!
@@FlamezOfGamez He went for a draw while that ahead, that is a coward move. Even if he started worse off he is still a coward and deserves no recognition for this "victory"
@@FlamezOfGamez This viewer didn't allow Chess Simp to draw at all. Infact this viewer drew intentionally. We know this because the viewer constantly had Chess Simp in check. This means that if he is so much better, maybe Chess Simp should stop allowing his viewers to draw.
Draw by repetition happens if the same board position occurs 3 times during the game, not necessarily in sequence 🙂 Returning to that exact position 20 moves later would still be a draw 😁
A draw by repetition isn't about a sequence of repeating moves, it's about reaching the same position three times. So even though black played Qa1+ instead of Qb1+, the Qb2+ position was still reached for a third time, therefore it's a draw.
Just win the game dude you can just make the video longer than 2 minutes, coordinate your rooks, and he'll eventually lose his queen and be toast. You have like 8 rooks, you're not losing that game even if you trade every piece for a rook which definitely won't happen smh 🤦 I can see a bunch of ways to win, I hate when you just cut your videos short like this for no reason.
In this case, you can't really blame them. They were in a much worse position, and probably accidentally drew the position, not realizing it was 3 times the same position
pls do this for next time pls: you have to get checkmated by opponent +if you blunder(according to stockfish), the video blunders (according to stockfish) (day 54 of asking)
No one ever gives you any Queen for the meme Simp, it's always for the meme. All of those Rooks on the same rank as the opponent's King and you "Can't see a checkmate." Stop playing for a draw and FIND the checkmate!
